I've had a long time love, looking at the Hamilton Khaki Field watches. I especially like the contrasting ring around the numberal marker track but I don't want to spend anything approaching another £800 - £1,000. I have 3 of that value in my collection, already and I feel like that's one too much, as it is. This watch has scratched that field watch itch for me. No need to spend big. I really, REALLY, like it.
Same. I fell in love with the Hamilton Khaki King early into my watch collecting- was set to buy one until the guys at the local watch repair shop steered me clear of them (both had theirs waiting at Hamilton to be fixed as the new movements can only be regulated with a laser AT Hamilton). This will probably be my only AliExpress purchase, but it's basically better spec wise in every way than a Hamilton- what they charge is criminal for what they're offering with their new movements. I have the black dial version. Not a huge fan of the NH35 so far- it's running about -50 secs a day... I'm going to have to regulate it unless it settles in... but... $60 on a bracelet. No brainer.
This looks great in most every way, except the hands being in low contrast to the dial. My old eyes need a distinct difference between the hands and indeed I have a dozen watches sitting unused after being frustrated by not being able to read them unless in very good light. At this price, I might still be tempted to give it a try. Thanks for posting.

Totally agree, they do have black dials, it may work better for you.
Just got mine,it's definitely an awesome watch. Your lume is different from mine, on mine the numbers glow as well.
Maybe it's because mine was the earlier production pieces, and they updated the dial since.
@@greatbuys my mistake, it's the black one.
@chriskelly509 ok, that makes sense, the black dial version always had lumns all around and on everything.
Wish the dial actually was white. Are videos and pictures making it look like metal?
No, it's metal, not the traditional white.
