Even though the bracelet was poor and the brushing isn't the best, I think that silver dial looks better with a smarter brushed case and it looked fantastic with the leather strap 😎. I really don't know which I would choose, bead blasted and black dial with lume is the obvious choice, but that silver dial is lovely even with their logo! Enjoy your weekend.

I appreciate the 'heads up' regarding the endlink discrepancy. Thanks. I think I would still do what I usually do, anyway, which is: buy on a bracelet even if I think I might prefer to wear it on a strap, when I get it. I've got a lot of different straps because they are so cheap on Ali Express, too, so if I buy on a bracelet, it's simple, easy and cheap to compare and contrast and pick which option I prefer (not so easy to source a bracelet, afterwards). Another reason, for me, with this watch, would be because I think it is easier to repair a brushed finish, than a bead blasted finish, if it gets scratched, with a bit of green, semi-abrasive, dishwashing pad or one of those scratch repair pens you can get, with the retractable, fibre glass, bristles. I don't know how you could turn a bead blasted finish back to a bead blasted look, if it got scratched, without bead or sand blasting it, again.

I just got the black dial delivered today. Mine doesn’t seem to have the tolerance issues yours did with the end link fitment. I really enjoy this watch! Managed to get it for $73USD including shipping and taxes for my location. Great review 😊
Hi John great review. This is definitely a nice watch and certainly gives the Baltany version a run for its money. I do wish they did a blue version as well as you could get 2 of these for the price of 1 Baltany. No-brainer for me.
Ordered this one on bracelet for $81. I have three or four black dial Hamilton field watches but don't have one with this color dial. Those are not 200m WR like this and cost five times more. Good review.
Just got mine delivered today. Understand what you mean about the bracelet but it’s ok. I paid £51 which was the delivered price and received it in less than a week.

I have a white dial and a black dial. Both on an oiled vintage leather strap ( not the originals). Very very happy. I prefer to wear these automatics to all the other quartz watches I have. Thanks Addiesdive.

It’s unbeatable for a sub $100 field watch for sure. And it looks way better on a strap. But if you can spare an extra $50, I would go Cestrian all day. Looking forward to more AliExpress content! (Edit) my turn to be up in the middle of the night!
It’s a nice watch, shame it was let down by the bracelet. For an Addiesdive, the price is getting up there. When I looked it was just about double the price of the AD2117. How does it compare to the Tandorio?

I have looked at this watch several times and keep on not being able to get past the thing you didn't mention, which is the vastly distracting position of the number 15 relative to the date window which is completely out of line with the rest of the minute numbers. They should have left that number off, rather than have it in the stupid position that it is.
The same was mentioned with the Baltany version. I don't see it as an issue but you obviously do . I think the community is evenly split on this one :(
Yes. You will have to do your due diligence and find out what the taxation and import duties are likely to be to your country. Here in the UK, for anything up to £135, AliExpress add the VAT and shipping (if any) to the price and that is it, no more fees to pay. But if the items are more expensive, then your country's Customs will work that out and any VAT and duties / admin charges will be levied then. The items will not be released by your postal service until you pay them.
Great looking watch and a good price. Just wish they had shaved one or two mm off the lug to lug length, and dropped the cartoon character logo. A good, honest review as always John.
Thanks John, it's a very nice dial, the case is exactly the same as the fleiger as @K.J.H_ mentioned. It's very comfortable. I'd definitely want to put a strap on it though. A GMT movement in this would be very nice indeed, it could scratch people's itch for the new white dial Seiko Field GMT. Excellent review as ever !

Its a pretty watch. I think the lack of lume except for the hands and that unusual position of the 15 is a mistake, but for the price and quality of the head (lets just ignore the brqcelet), this is a good deal. I'm torn between the white dial and rhe black.
When you think about it, January last year I bought a Khaki in 42 mm, for 600€ (that was with tax), AD full guarantee etc, USP was 660€ I believe, only a couple days later they increased the price to 845€. That’s just ridiculous… Watch so lovely tho! Sits great on my wrist… Well, this Addiesdive looks great! Sure flat sapphire is a downgrade but you also get AR, which the OG doesn’t have. Like I expected, fitment of the Endlinks is terrible… maybe still acceptable for the price? Size is the biggest issue for me, same with the Baltany version, someone should make a 42 mm version. So many great watches in that size! Was that nylon strap a very light green? Or beige? Looked the best if you ask me! Good video!
Thanks buddy. The bracelet finishing ie, brushing is fine but the gappiest I have seen. It's not made for the watch and seems to be an afterthought. The strap is a light green almost metallic that I bought on eBay a couple of years back. It tends to bring out the best in white / silver dialled watches :)

Not evaluated fully yet as the Baltany watches only arrived a couple of days ago. Every watch goes through exactly the same evaluation so I am unbiased and consistent. I presume you are talking about the Watchdives from the last video? It is great value for money...and it's still on my wrist :)

Ah ok. In that case. The Baltany is the better watch but it is twice the price. The Lume is superb on the Baltany as is the finishing whereas the Addiesdive is good for the price and the silver version only has lumed hands. Depends how much you want to spend. Looks wise the Addiesdive is more on point though :)
It looks like a dandy to me. The AR is better than the original. The lume is disappointing and just some drops around the edge would suffice. Might be worth a try DIY, eh? I noticed the scratch on your hand. Did that great furry beast who shares his domain with you take a swipe?
As usual great value, and they didn't call it a deep sea diver. I would like to have seen them just use a logo, and not the one they use at present. I wouldn't have described it as sand/bead blasted, I think it looks brushed

Actually I have that kind of money and more, but I still buy a few Ali watches every year just for fun. All hobbies cost money, I am just glad I am not into weird art or antique cars, you really need to be a billionaire for that. Here is the thing, if you wear everything costs $50 from head to toe, then you will look like $50, but if you mix match them, no one will second guess your watch, for most occasions.😂
I just got mine, the leather strap is better than other budget watches straps, but yeah I'm not a fan of leather straps anyway, so I'm going to replace it with a rubber one

I was swithering whether to order it in the 11.11 sale, since I've already ordered 3 (a Sugess panda handwind, a Steeldive Willard and a titanium Tandorio SKX homage) but it looks so nice in the review and the price, in the sale, is currently an unbelievable, £36.84, after tax! So I ordered it, over the Escapement Time Murph that I had my eye on, too. I just hope it won't be their 'seconds' that they've been holding over, to send out, at that price, during the sale. (I watched your Steeldive Willard review with all the quality issues after I had ordered mine, so 'fingers crossed'). £36.84 and selling out fast!
I've praised this watch quite a bit since it's release but one thing you've brought to attention is your video is the crappy execution of the bracelet. I had expected a little better fit and finish of the steel bracelet from what I've heard in the past about Addiesdive steel bracelets. I picked mine up for about $115 USD and I still think, all things considered, it's a bargain of a watch but you made a good point that this watch really belongs on a leather or military nylon strap.
The watch is very decent but not having lumed indices on the silver version is a shame. The bracelet is disappointing given Addiesdive are normally on the ball in that respect.

Ułożenie przy uszach i szybko się zwęża do 16mm co sprawia dla mnie wrażenie zbyt delikatne. Ostatnio nosiłem duże zegarki i muszę się przyzwyczaić do rozmiaru. Nie mniej jednak uważam że to fajny zegarek. Dokupię tak jak mówiłem czarny pasek lub gumowy. Pozdrawiam.

The OG can be get around 600-750€ and is 38mm 47lug to lug . 11mm thin
Yeah but my subscribers base are interested in watches at between £50 and £200 that offer great specs for the money.
