I love this jazzy rendition but you can tell Cynthia was about too hit the usual high notes as if it were the original version but had to resync herself to the band with this version...bless her, what an amazing voice, I swear each note is hit perfectly and there's no signs of cracking even at her age. She absolutely OWNS this song, I've heard many covers but nothing beats Cynthia's voice...literally NOTHING!

It was always baffling to me that such an influential - iconic, even - voice had a single role then disappeared off the face of the earth without so much as a name drop for so long. I periodically used to look into her to see if she had other music but couldn't find so much as a name to use for looking things up until an article popped up a few years ago - which is probably my favourite piece of games journalism since. And to hear that she still absolutely kills it is incredible. This must have been an amazing experience to witness live.
