But Snake eater on the other hand is being built from the ground-up known as MGS Delta.

Honestly, the whole game has Bond vibes. I’m pretty sure it was inspired by the James Bond series.
Now get this, before this sequence there is a dialogue in the game where snake reveals that he hates bond movies, because what bond goes through on these movies and the gadgets he uses is nothing like the life snake has as a spy. And than the game just through this in the screen and after this the game starts to make snake go through every single bond clichê imaginable lmao. It's just simply perfect

This is good too, but I like the synching of the music of the original ps2 opening, where certain parts of the song line up with certain scenery at just the right moment, etc.

I love that this epic theme plays right after the gut punch of The Boss' betrayal. You just sit and vibe to this beautiful track all while anticipating where the story is going to go from here. Definitely one of those games I wish I could play for the first time.. everytime.

It's funny to think that the openings for both Solid 2 and Solid 3 were by the same guy, because they're actually quite identical in structure:
-They mainly consist of early game/promotional footage
-The footage is edited with new CG imagery fitting the setting of the game
-The openings go out of their way not to spoil major plot details, Solid 2 only giving us brief glimpses at protagonist Raiden and Solid 3 holding off on showing the Cobra Unit and The Boss
-They're also set to their theme songs, Harry Gregson Williams' rendition of Tappy's theme from MGS1 and The Snake Eater Song as sung by Cynthia "I Am The Wind" Harrell respectively
And they're both fantastic ways to boot up both games. Solid 3, I dig as its homage to Old Spy TV Shows and James Bond films instantly informs us that we're in the 1960s rather than the 2000s like Solid 1 and 2 and also setting the more lighthearted [yet still emotional] tone.
I think Kojima liked early James Bond films, lol.

Joe Blow I've seen pretty much all of them multiple times. (not all of them, a majority I've only seen once, but classics like Goldeneye I'll never get tired of.) and yes, in particular it reminds me of Tomorrow Never Dies, and maybe Goldfinger :P especially the singer. My only gripe with these games (At lest in the playstation/Xbox versions) is that you can't pause mid-cutscene.....at all....it really sucks. I have a feeling it was inspired by the bond films released around the time that this point of the story takes place in. If so that's a cool, unintentional reference :P
Naruto200Man Goldeneye is my personal favorite by far as well. The Sean Connery one's were also good. The new ones are pretty good too, but they seem more like a Jason Bourne style film than a James Bond one.
Joe Blow I liked Roger for his delivery, but other than that he doesn't really stand out against the others. :P I hope they keep making them despite the death of an important actress D: The new guy seems to be making himself right at home in the role xD he just hasn't found his own unique spin (with Roger for example it was his delivery of the one liners, he didn't really add any humor or hammy-ness to them.) on it. You might slap me for saying this :P but I like the new spiderman guy too xD not as many hammy quotes, but TAS definitely tells a better story (so far....)

The biggest videogame franchise there is, period! All the plots, all the feelings, all the betrayals. This series have them all and portrayed the best way possible. It's even hard to find such awesomeness in movies, but in games, that's impossible and Snake Eater is be best of them.

Not necessarily. This is one of my most beloved games ever, but I disliked it because, in this version of the intro, Bluepoint decided to change the timing of where does the song begins, and it does not sync with the video anymore. They basically ruined it for no reason, so I dislike this version of the intro.
I actually might cry when I finally see the remake intro of this.

They started the music early, in PS2 it didn't start until after konami presents or whatever popped up

Hard to find any fault with this game even after so long it holds up pretty much perfectly, the song gives me chills when you first hear it and then on the ladder it's just a absolute banger.
