Holy shit I can't stop listening to this. The girl absolutely fucking killed it in every possible way, she's phenomenal. She did such a good job of being into it and moving and feeling it. That honestly seals the deal on the powerful, sexy, Bond, secret agent of the state type Metal Gear feel. I can't believe she just stepped into this and did such an amazing job. According to her Instagram this was one of if not the first things she did involved with gaming. The guitarists can't help smiling and trying to catch her eye to do that "We're in sync here and this is magical" musician thing because she's just infectious and incredible, she's done such a good job.
Out of all the music and vocal performances Ive heard in my life, this is simply astounding. To have been performed live makes it sublime. As good as the music is, she absolutely steals the entire show.

I've watched this video more times than I care to admit...all I gotta say is; I'm truly amazed with how much of herself Ingrid puts into this performance. She sings her heart out and really just brings out every ounce of herself @1:46.
Even watching this now in 2022, I still come back to this song, and I'm still in awe!! Cynthia, and the orchestra killed it! This song, will never get old to me, and is in my opinion, the greatest video game theme song of all time. 10/10 hats off to Kojima and his team.

Holy shit I can't stop listening to this. The girl absolutely fucking killed it in every possible way, she's phenomenal. She did such a good job of being into it and moving and feeling it. That honestly seals the deal on the powerful, sexy, Bond, secret agent of the state type Metal Gear feel. I can't believe she just stepped into this and did such an amazing job. According to her Instagram this was one of if not the first things she did involved with gaming. The guitarists can't help smiling and trying to catch her eye to do that "We're in sync here and this is magical" musician thing because she's just infectious and incredible, she's done such a good job.

Even watching this now in 2022, I still come back to this song, and I'm still in awe!! Cynthia, and the orchestra killed it! This song, will never get old to me, and is in my opinion, the greatest video game theme song of all time. 10/10 hats off to Kojima and his team.
Although this is not Cynthia the original singer of this song, this is a cover by Ingrid Gerdes, which makes it even more amazing. She's brutal.

The original is so beautiful, but this cover comes so damn close to being better. It captures everything that makes the original amazing, and adds on new elements that are just right to make it different while sounding like it belonged in the song in the first place. 10 out of effing 10

Personally, I think the entire orchestra nails it perfectly and Ingrid Gerdes' vocals are amazing. She changes just enough to be interesting and new, showing off her chops, without changing it so much that it's unrecognizable.
