Good video, when you pasted into visuals. The transform Visuals was at a different xyz then when you placed it. The decal disappeared because it was at a different spot. Did you edit the video after fixing it? Just wondering if your doing a trick i dont know 🤷

Would you be able to show us how we can create different logo options for in the store? Similar to how many modders do with their numbers they add. I would like to be able to add multiple logo options for semis for each farm on our server. Instead I have always just set an individual semi for each farm.
It's pretty easy. Create the logo as per the video, save and close Giants Editor. Open GE, create an entirely new logo and ensure it is in exactly the same place as the first one. Make more logos if required and then turn visibility off for all of them. Create a designConfiguration section in the xml that will make the logo you want to become visible, whilst the rest remain invisible. Don't just duplicate the first logo, you have to create an entirely new one each time. If you duplicate, the original and copy are linked and when you add the 2nd logo to the plane, the first logo will change. Hard to explain in a YT comment though
This could be how the mod was compressed into a zip? Also depends on how the image was recalled/used in GE. The image for you logo has to come from inside your mod that you are placing the logo on. I last placed a logo on a mod just before the 1.6 patch. So I cannot confirm if something with the recent GE update effects it yet. But will hopefully be able to clarify that this weekend when I get time.

Same issue here. Game is fine until I go to buy the truck from the store. It wont even open. Game pauses and then crashes. I can remove the logo from the plane, and the mod works fine. I am saving the logo in the right format. I have tried different groups in GE. I am not sure what is going on. Any ideas?
I know this is old and when the game first launched so not sure if the same steps apply.. I cant get the logo I put on a truck to show up in game.. If I reopen the mod in GE, the logo is there on the truck..
How are you saving the mod, the transparent image for the logo has to be in the same folder as the mod, it cannot be one used on a desktop or another file location. Common issues some have had: not having the logo image used in the folder of the mod (when you select to add the logo, it must come from the mod folder you are updating) Not correctly re-zipping the mod. Not using correct logo format, though GE helps this correct itself. Sorry for the late response. Hope this helps.
Hey i am new to well editing anything, when i pull up the mod file it never actually shows the vehicle how do i fix this? Currently have GE updated to current version. any help is welcomed thanks in advance.

If you are going to mod, I’d search TH-cam for tips from channels like lambs mods, 82 studios. Those channels put out some info on creating mods, giants has a mod making tutorial as well. I’ve just recently started putting more time attention into it, becomes a rabbit hole lol
If you go into program files 86x, then into your game/app, I use steam so steam apps, common, then fs22 and vehicles (they are listed by brand categories). Make sure to copy the mod not use the ingame one, add on name at the end.
When i'm trying to open a model its coming up blank and with errors for all the textures even though they're in the same folder? I feel like i'm missing something...
In the mod folder itself, you will see the i3d and mod desc xml, you need a texture folder in their as well with the logo you are using in it, that is where the logo also needs to be loading into GE from, not from a desktop or outside folder.

@@josh13moore If you used the basegame file, and changed it in anyway, it will not work. To apply a logo you must make a copy of the basegame mod file and rename it like FS22_profiliner_modedit. Never mess with any changes on the basegame mods and files themselves as the game runs into conflict with them.
@@FarmerTaz yeah that’s what I’ve done, made a copy and have tried to open the profi liner on giants editor but it’s not showing anything other than errors in the console…
It works for me on MP, as long as the mod is enabled for MP servers. If you are using the ingame MP option without a 3rd party dedi server, you will need to give the other players the mod as well as it will not be in the ingame modhub.
I am confused as to what you are saying here. You cannot get your logo on downloadable content? You have to make a copy of the mod, then rename it with the changes you make in GE.
I’d check your log first to see what errors are displaying when it crashes then work from there. Make sure your mod directory path is correct for the grill (zipped folder correctly).
@@FarmerTaz yes, i've made 4K texture for the plane, and the game said "no no no, no 4K, only 720p 😛" XD so the problem was the texture for the plane too high
@@Charlee_Gee but the path it pulls that image from in Giants editor matches to that image in the texture folder? (What you described is often a result of this)
The logo is being pulled from the mod folder you are attaching the logo to? If it shows blank, it’s usually the logo being taken from a location outside of the mod folder.
If it crashes you missed a step, or do not have a correct path. Re-trace your steps or start fresh. I think in the comments someone else had this issue and explained where they went wrong.

For some reason, I dont get the options to tilt or anything. Can just move it in X, Y and Z
You could, numbers may need to be adjusted by 0.08 etc... once you are close.

You can create one as long as its in that final zip where the mod would look for it.

Sorry for the late reply. You might be able to flex it slightly, but ideally in blender is what I believe most use for contoured objects.

Is there a reason why when you attach the trailer to a vehicle and drive off the logo still stays where the trailer was?
That sounds like you have some kind of a conflict with a mod, I have not had that happen and know of no one else having that happen.

Sounds like a path error, or issue with GE. Have you been able to convert any image to dds in GE without it crashing?

Is the logo you are using in the mod folder itself? The directory has to pull it it from there not from a different folder.

It is probably not saved (rezipped) correctly or other stuff had been altered by accident when you went in. Sorry for the late response.

I use Photoshop because I have access to it, but GIMP is another great and free application to use.

There are only a million lines and no semi.

Also make sure the image you are using is stored within the mod you are adding it to.
