What version of Augustus are you using to play this? It unfortunately been awhile since I have played Caesar III, but I don't recall seeing the "City Mint" or "Highways" the last time I played [about 6 months ago]. (Augustus 3.2.0)
22:00 does this road connection work he wonders. while i am screaming at the screen that you just need to look at the random firefighters running around on places where they couldnt be if it didnt. (also the road got lighten up when you placed them.)
my map is different i cant build roads, before you complete a mission, can you check the map again if there was an update? and make a new playtrough please
It's up to the map makers to upload them, I expect they'll show up on Caesar Heaven. 1 of the 5 maps for the competition is up last I checked. I think they're tweaking the maps based on competition feedback.
The walker preview is an option in the Augustus unstable build. The extra info in the side panel is also an option, but you need to be at a high enough screen resolution for it to display.
You need the get the unstable build which gets new features quickly. Don't forget to download the assets folder as well and replace that because the assets change with every update.
Oooh god I hate desert maps! Everything catch fireI just won Carthago in the original campain using a fishbone block, it was a nice play Could someone tell me if Augustus work in the original campain? I would love to tell markets what they can buy! Only that to stabilize my cities
How can you Build Workshops so far away from house. I always Get the „no employees live nearby“. Did this Get fixed in the Augustus mod? I Need to Get it. Still Playing the Original version.
It's using the Global Employment setting in the new options that makes the game work more like Zeus and Emperor. In Original Caesar 3, you just need to have some tents near your workshops.

@@GamerZakh Thank You very much! I saw the title but wasn't sure if it is a continuation of this. Also: your horse won :) It was a one line message at the top before the Hippodrome animation.
Hi. I've downloaded the version instable that have in map editor the button to custom map empire. My question is how i custom the map empire creating a city with name?
I'm not familiar with how to make custom empires, best if you ask on our discord. All the Augustus devs are there and so are a lot of map makers, they'll know how.
right off the bat, 100 culture city, EWWWW. I personally have always hated culture spam in C3 (and this does apply to vanilla) due to how culture is handled in C3, and Pharaoh for that matter
Augustus handles culture completely differently. First it's rebalanced with new buildings like the tavern and arena. Second, culture buildings can be upgraded with desirability and doubles their culture score, so schools, libraries, theatres, and academies can all be upgraded. Third, monuments give 6 culture, so building 5 grand temples, a colosseum, and hippodrome gives you 42 culture by themselves. Basically on this map, with the super efficient forced walker block reducing how many culture buildings I need significantly (only 1 library and theatre/entertainment buildings for ALL plebs), I only had to build 3 extra theatres, 1 extra library, and 1 extra academy and I reached 100 culture. If I just had a second housing block, I wouldn't need any extra culture buildings at all.
@@GamerZakh I forgot about the grand temples adding culture and didnt realize the colossuem and hippodrome added culture, that doesnt actually sound too bad in Augustus
I'm not sure if it's up yet, last I checked no. All these maps should be uploaded to Caesar Heaven at some point. I think some of the map makers are editing the maps based on competition feedback before publishing.

It's a new thing in the unstable build, you do have to turn it on in the options.

How did you get the walker preview? And the map objectives on the panel on the right??
The walker preview is an option in the Augustus unstable build. The extra info in the side panel is also an option, but you need to be at a high enough screen resolution for it to display.
...so, I have the gold mines and the icon is a 4 tile blank square with one square being a roadblock icon.... and WHAT is the cart building?
That means you haven't copied the separate Assets folder. If you get the unstable build be sure to download the assets folder and replace it.
Don't you need any workers near workplaces in Augustus? Is everything just global employment?
Global employment is an option you can turn on.
Hi, how do you do to see the path (the blue highlight on the road) when you're building (i.e, prefecture, market, etc)?
It's a new option you can turn on in the unstable build of Augustus.

How do they place custom cities in the Empire map?
It's a new editing feature with Augustus. I'm not sure how to do it but they did make a guide. If you need help, beat to ask the devs on our discord.
