The Grandmaster of Demon cultivation (or whatever the English title was sorry I read it in a different language so idk) is a great book but please be aware of the kind of info-dumpy nature it has at least I think it does other than that it's is a solid read.

I’d recommend watching a show with that sort of stuff in first, so you can visually see what it is referencing! It’s a super good read, but very niche in the west for this reason
The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (or Mo Dao Zu Shi) is very good. I started with the anime first, then read the novel. I'm so happy for it to finally come out in English! Pre-ordering book two this weekend. I just ordered the first two books from Kresley Cole's "Immortals After Dark" series. I started way out of order, oops XD and became hooked.
Catcher in the Rye is one of those books i hate. Read it in high school and it made me wanna burn my copy (dont worry i didnt do it) but you read and judge. Would love a vlog if you do. But that trinket dish tho!!!! Found one on Mercari cuz I had to have it😍😍😍

Ooohh,I read this book fairly recently and really enjoyed it (I’m so glad I never had to read it for school because it’s not part of the curriculum)I do however understand why lots of people don’t like it because of the lack of plot and issues raised.Honestly if I did read it for school I most likely would have ended up hating it but I do love seeing some controversy over my favourite books :))
I own that copy of Foolish Hearts…and actually enjoyed it…I’m not a contemporary fan (love me a fantasy adventure…maps in books are a must!)…but something about Foolish Hearts grabbed me and I flew through it…

I just finished FINALE last night (3/8) and I binged the entire book in one day. It was my absolute favorite of the trilogy. I binge-bought the entire series back when they were published and it took me until this year to read them. But I'm so glad I did!
I just finished World Departed by Sarah Lyons Fleming, yes a zombie apocalypse book but omg was it so good. It’s the beginning of the end in Oregon, but the people are still struggling with everyday problems along with the end of the world. Parents and their college aged children, marriages falling apart, and what is happening in the world. It really fleshed out it’s characters and I was loving the ride, it’s told in 4 POVs from main characters and I highly recommend it if you like zombies and character driven stories. Beware it’s like 700 pages but the audiobook is really well done if you choose that avenue, I did both!
I loved The Catcher in the Rye but I was also a very sad angry teen so I think that's why I loved it so much. I read it at the perfect time and I don't know that I would feel the same way if I was to read it for the first time now but it will always hold a special place for me. Foolish Hearts is another one of my favorite books. I love the friendship and boyband elements. Hope you enjoy them as well.
Foolish Hearts has some of my favorite depictions of fans and the joys of fandom especially when you share it with a friend. it’s the book that made me immediately devour all the rest of the author’s work, and I hope you love it!! 💗 I have Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation on my tbr too after ages of wanting to read it but now that it’s within my reach I’m a little intimidated hahaha

I had no idea Tiny Pretty Things was a book (I loved the netflix show), so will definitely have to add it to my TBR. The Caraval series is also fantastic and I'm reading Finale now, I love Stephanie Garbers writing ✨️ One of the most magical series I've read!

Nooo I would not suggest that :D the live action had the unnecessary confusing plot of Yin Iron which is not in the book. I made the mistake of watching Untamed before reading the book and I'm still confused with linking many small events that take place in the story (not sure if that's just how the book it. I'll probably read it again after Untamed has faded considerably from my mind). I found Heaven Official's Blessing much much better work of MXTX.
I did watch Tiny Pretty Things and am just realizing where’s the 2nd season did it get canceled? 😅 I’ve been meaning to read Fredrick Backman. I think this is the year! Illumicrate did such a good job! I get the book only but I gasped when I opened it. 😍
I really enjoyed Anxious People! It's not my favorite from Backman but it's a very quick read. While I really liked the characters, there wasn't much time for all of their stories. But I did prefer what was presented in the book over adding more pages and making the story longer than necessary. MXTX! I like the author's other two works more, but Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation is the most popular one. Both her longer series (Grandmaster and Heaven Official's Blessing, ~470k/770k words) can be very heavy with infodumps and waaaay too long with unnecessary subplots (HOB had about 30 chapters which I hated with passion), but overall they're still fun to read! It took me a while to get used to the style of Chinese webnovels, though.
WAIT!!!!! You haven't read the Stephanie Garber boooks!!!!!!! She just came out with another branch of the series, and it is SOOOOOOO good!! I hope you can get through that series soon!
