I’m still going through some stuff but god bless your soul for posting these videos . Intrusive thoughts/ doubts are terrible and I wouldn’t wish them upon my worst enemy. Nobody should ever have to doubt what kind of person they are . Never in my life have I been at such a low point . Everything is getting a bit better for sure, but I just wanted to reach out and say you definitely are helping me achieve a better way of thinking .

You are a beautiful human being! Thank you. This is just as helpful as going to a therapist in real life in my opinion.

Hello kathy. A big thank you for making those videos. You are a god sent angel who is putting so much effort in trying to help our ocds. Can one solve his or her ocd on her own? Going to a theraphist for me is so far from where i live and very expensive.

Your videos truly have made an impact on my life. There's something I wanted to ask, should I make a hierarchy of fears for every field of my life (sexual, job, family), or combine all of them into a single list?

I want to do this but I’m too scared to even make the list knowing at some point I’ll have to expose myself. I’m going through such a hard time right now.

So is the list of things that you don’t do because you fear the consequences or the list of the consequences?
    - not touch light switch
    - get contaminated by a deadly bacteria

My problem is that when I try to resist doing the compulsions
    I feel terrible reall terrible
I have this sensation that I must do this act
Then I keep hours thinking until then at last i do the compulsion..so all these hrs wasted...
and then other thoughts when I try to ignore them I feel like i need to think about them to solve the issue
its not just a thought its a crisis
So i started just doing the compulsions back
and yes ive been like that alot and havent proved at all
but the anxiety relief the moment I finish the compulsion means lot to me
tho Ik the thought will come back time later
    ..Idk what to do...any suggestions...
and I suffer lot other things with ocd... sleep disorders..Depression and more
No doubt my OCD is much better than last year but still I need help

How do you do exposure therapy for mental ocd patterns as in instrusive thoughts. Should I say what the thoughts are saying out loud. I rather not say the thoughts there not good thoughts idk why they are there they seem very illogical but they been disturbing me and causing a lot of pain.

Dear Dr Kathie, sometimes I wonder if all this fight against OCD ever going to work? After literally trying many of the approaches and techniques in Psychotherapy out there, I can't help thinking that we are just playing out the victim cards of causality.
If one is suffering either mentally or physically, isn't he/she destined to be so? Would you like to take interview of me over Skype? I'll be looking forward for your reply. Thank you!!

This hasn’t helped me at all and I don’t have any fears of this I have tic's and I need them to go away this isn’t helping me and im scared I’m scared these will never go away and I don’t know what to do I need help but I don’t know who to turn to to help me

    • @capa1575

Go to a real therapist, online shouldn’t be the best way, also then try to research stuff about physical ticks and physical ocd stuff. Stay positive, everything’s gonna be alright
