Agreed! I personally lile season 1-6 the most (s7 was the worst by far form me), but the rest still have very interesting storylines and I have no choice but to continue watching!

Season 11 was great for various reasons. For example the ending: it was actually the only ending with a somehow positive note; Amara recognising that she seems to love what her brother has done, feeling love; but also the idea of combining powers (good/evil) to fight the Darkness; and Castiel (as Lucifer) not wanting to talk to his father, but locking in Sam's room 😂! And I love the interaction between Rowina and "Fergus" Crowley 😉😆.
CECIL even Jensen said that they kinda Finnish with demon dean way to fast and they could have done more and ya I wish they did more and made him the Antagonist for the season or being back the demon eyes that dean saw in the mirror because I feel like that was going to be something but it never was
Exactly! The creator of the show only had a 5-season arc in mind and it should have ended there. The CW decided to continue without him, but the story arc had already escalated so much, that it became too silly and repetitive. It's sad that Supernatural was once my all time favorite show, but I gave up watching around season 8 because it became awful. On the other hand I'm happy they had one of the longest runs in modern TV history, because in the earliest seasons it was not a hit and we were always afraid it was gonna get canceled, lol. My favorite season was the 3rd.
Truth. I gave up at the beginning of 7. I already felt like I was just trudging through during 6. Reading things like 'Sam is taking a backseat' reinforces my decision not to finish the series. I like the Winchesters the way I remember them. Equally important.

When you do or see something repetitive, people tend to get bored. Castiel's intro was phenomenal. Because he had the power to rescue a person from Hell. All the demon were wondering and scared of that thing. I wonder whether Dean still has the hand mark on his shoulder.

Damn, I really like season 7, and 12 as well and people are mostly complaining about them, to me the worst is season 13, it has positives but the faults, my God, what a horrible season that was
I love all seasons of Supernatural but the first five seasons are my favorite, they'll always hold a special place in my heart. They had some of the best character introductions like when we first meet Death and then Castiel. Iconic!
Castiel's 1st appearance is *MY* favourite, I loved everything about it, the spiky hair, blue eyes, deep yet soothing voice, the newness of not having been affected by J2 yet and the most important part, his *ORIGINAL* trench coat.
Season 6 is so underrated, yes it comes of the back of the best season and the best episode of the show(swan song) but it manages to do so many things right: -bring back the supernatural hunters. -Give something original to sam by taking his soul. -Give us great episodes like the man who knew too much, the man who would be king, the dean becoming death for the day, the x files fairy episode and the french mistake + some other great ones I can't remember. -it gives us alpha monsters as well with Eve. -it gives us dean's family life and the huge sacrifice he must make to protect them. -Castiel and Crowley working together. -Balthasar -the weapons of heaven. Such an underrated season that doesn't deserve all the hate, I actually prefer that season and the 8th one to all the ones that come after.
I personally hated this season. It's not only because it comes after the best of the show but it's got a feeling that nobody knows what the heck they're doing with the show and where they're going.

May that honor will be to Billie (I'm still not sure what I think about her plan), the Empty or even Lucifer (I mean, come on, that guy never stops making comebacks). I always felt season 6 I highly underrated it has some amazing episodes like French Mistake,Frontierland,Clap your hands if you believe,My Heart will go On,and Man who would be king.I honestly think most people hate cause Dean trying to live a double live early on and the Villain kinda sucks which is understandable.

If I was writing season 8. I would have done at least 8 episodes of dean and cass trapped in purgatory. Explaining why purgatory exists. Then both finding a portal to hell. And after they escape, a being follows them and they unleash a new villian into the world. Then build that villain up for 5 episodes. Then he does something that causes Sam n dean to go and kill it. Then it turns out, it’s a angel. Gadreel that’s how I would have planed his appearance and make him responsible for making heaven fall and bringing metatron in. Both team up and Gadreel is betrayed. Transitions the villian to metatron.

I like season 12 too. It was fun. I liked having Mary back, even if she parted ways and was pretty much doing her own thing. I also liked season 13 with the focus on another universe. It's too bad season 15 is the last season. They could do so much with jumping worlds lol. Kind of like Doctor Who.

I started this show a couple of weeks ago with my gf (who has been watching since the start 15 years ago). We are in the middle of season 4 and I love it. The writing is insanely better than I thought it could have been and the multiple story arcs set up over multiple seasons is incredibly impressive. Very cool stuff.

the supernatural titles in the first season: “Home,” “Faith,” “Asylum,” “Shadow,” “Devils Trap.” the rest: “A Little Slice of Kevin,” “Shut up, Dr. Phil,” “Plucky Pennywhistles Magic Menagerie,” “Mannequin 3: The Reckoning.” BRUH WHAT HAPPENED..... I don’t mind but like............ B R U H edit: i’m not kidding, these are actual titles of supernatural episodes.
The thing is the original story line was so awesome that the ones who followed after just pale before it, allowing the viewers to judge them harsly. I'm mean, yeah, they could have been better, but, come on! The Leviatan arc, that went from season 6 to 7, was just awesome, showing us that even the ones we believe to be the good characters can become the villains and introducing us to the original monsters. The arc of the Fallen Angels (season 8 and 9) was also pretty good. It was in season 8 the boys got the bunker, a place that they could actually call home and gave us Crowley becoming the main villain again. Not only that but also introduced us to the Knights of Hell and Metatron. Of course we couldn't forget the Darkness Arc, having a faint start in season 9 and going through until 11, where we finally got confirmation of what we already knew: CHUCK IS GOD! I loved season 11 and Amara. Her story with God was actually very well made and allowed us to percieve a little of God's nature, as being not of a Creator without flaws. Of course I can't forget about the fact it was followed by season 12. I have to agree, that one was not very good compared to the others. I mean, after fighting against a Prince of Hell, the First Demon, Algels, Archangels, the King of Hell, Leviathans, Alphas, Metatron and God's sister, the Winchesters find themselves fighting British Men of Letters? I have to agree with Chuch, that's kinda weak. Of course the search for Lucifer's son and the episode where Dean kills Hittler really light up the season, but overall it could have been better. And then we have the Jack arc that is still running. Jack's introduction really gave a new pace to the series, as we get to see the Winchesters at the role of parenting all while dealing with Jack's powers. Season 14 was really full of twists what caused to become rather unpredictable, from Michael's plan to use the monsters to conquer Earth, passing by the condiction of Jack's soul to the ultimate reveal of God being the true villain. Season 15 can't still be judge properly as we barely made it through its middle point. There's still 7 episodes yet to air and much can still happen. Will the boys be able to kill God? Is God even the last villain? Or is Billie going to be revealed as the villain at the last moment? Some new character may even pup on to the party all of the sudden! And we can't forget Lucifer is still awaken in the Empty who may actually have an all agenda of its own. So much that can still happen...
Listen, season five was the intended ending for the show and they pulled it off as damn near perfectly as a show can get. You can't convince me it isn't the best season in the show.
I think 13 should be higher. I thought that was great, I personally enjoyed season 7 but I think it should have been lower. Why is season 15 even here. I agree with the top 2 although I think they should be flipped. Even so the intro of Castiel and the religious aspects was amazing. And honestly season 1-5 were top tier television. Those were by far the best

How is season 8 & season 11 above season 6...... Season 6 manages to add a lot to the lore of Spn, soulless Sam was so unexpected & amazingly done, Castiel as sort of the big bad of the show came out of left field & was so surprising & the best part is that they earned that tension. The samuel dynamic & even the war between factions of Angels was so cool. Finally I love how we see Dean go back to season 1-2 level of care for Sammy & it's just emotional. Season 6 gets a lot of bad rep but I think it balances the monsters of the week & story episode incredibly well.
@@shelq3814 Yes. I feel like we needed more Dean with Crowley interaction lol. Them just saying they had a summer fling or whatever with not even a flashback...we got more Crowley and Castiel in season 6/7 than Dean with Crowley in season 10. I was bummed.
schwubmexx for me it was season 12 cause the British men of letters were not my cup of tea, Mary coming back to life only to side with them and act like she knows what she’s doing as well as complaining about being alive was just annoying me and I didn’t like the first vessel Lucifer used the first few episodes. Season 1-5 is the best for me! I used to watch it religiously. After S5 though it didn't feel like the show knew where it was going, and at that point I was only watching to see it through to the end since I had been a dedicated fan for so long. However I had to stop halfway through S12. Honestly I barley remember what happens after S5 lol.
Season 6 was awesome in my opinion but yeah, I guess I see what you mean. I’m still watching it but Season 7 kind of lost me with the Leviathans, what happens with Bobby and so on. My favorite seasons are Season 1 to 6.

No, that’s great. I’m glad you did. In my opinion, it’s still great after 8 seasons (which is where I’m at currently) but Seasons 1 to 6 are the best in my opinion.

Seasons 1-6 are top tier. No one can change mind. Season 4 is my personal fav because of the budding relationship between Cas and Dean. I also liked seasons 8 & 11.

They should have had demon Dean be more of a main antagonist. Instead of building it up and then throwing it away, which annoyed me.

I love all seasons of Supernatural but the first five seasons are my favorite, they'll always hold a special place in my heart. They had some of the best character introductions like when we first meet Death and then Castiel. Iconic!
Castiel's 1st appearance is *MY* favourite, I loved everything about it, the spiky hair, blue eyes, deep yet soothing voice, the newness of not having been affected by J2 yet and the most important part, his *ORIGINAL* trench coat.

Season 6 is so underrated, yes it comes of the back of the best season and the best episode of the show(swan song) but it manages to do so many things right:
-bring back the supernatural hunters.
-Give something original to sam by taking his soul.
-Give us great episodes like the man who knew too much, the man who would be king, the dean becoming death for the day, the x files fairy episode and the french mistake + some other great ones I can't remember.
-it gives us alpha monsters as well with Eve.
-it gives us dean's family life and the huge sacrifice he must make to protect them.
-Castiel and Crowley working together.
-Balthasar
-the weapons of heaven.
Such an underrated season that doesn't deserve all the hate, I actually prefer that season and the 8th one to all the ones that come after.

I personally hated this season. It's not only because it comes after the best of the show but it's got a feeling that nobody knows what the heck they're doing with the show and where they're going.

Exactly what I thought! I mean, God may not even be the final villain. May that honor will be to Billie (I'm still not sure what I think about her plan), the Empty or even Lucifer (I mean, come on, that guy never stops making comebacks). With 7 episodes still waiting to air, there's so many possibilities!

I always felt season 6 I highly underrated it has some amazing episodes like French Mistake,Frontierland,Clap your hands if you believe,My Heart will go On,and Man who would be king.I honestly think most people hate cause Dean trying to live a double live early on and the Villain kinda sucks which is understandable.

@@garimachaudhary2981 i think the show portrayed john as a hero because he's a good hunter the man fought evil for over 22 years from 1983 to 2005 so in that way john is a hero but you're right he is a terrible father john Winchester is the greatest hunter in the world but was a terrible father i do believe he loved his sons though and cared about sam and dean even if he wasn't always around and i still like his character though.

Supernatural is seriously the king of all horror /sci-fi tv series ! This show honestly deserves to win a lot of awards ! The cast of this show did an amazing job entertaining the audience !
If I was writing season 8. I would have done at least 8 episodes of dean and cass trapped in purgatory. Explaining why purgatory exists. Then both finding a portal to hell. And after they escape, a being follows them and they unleash a new villian into the world. Then build that villain up for 5 episodes. Then he does something that causes Sam n dean to go and kill it. Then it turns out, it’s a angel. Gadreel that’s how I would have planed his appearance and make him responsible for making heaven fall and bringing metatron in. Both team up and Gadreel is betrayed. Transitions the villian to metatron.

I like season 12 too. It was fun. I liked having Mary back, even if she parted ways and was pretty much doing her own thing. I also liked season 13 with the focus on another universe. It's too bad season 15 is the last season. They could do so much with jumping worlds lol. Kind of like Doctor Who.

The writing is insanely better than I thought it could have been and the multiple story arcs set up over multiple seasons is incredibly impressive. Very cool stuff.

The thing is the original story line was so awesome that the ones who followed after just pale before it, allowing the viewers to judge them harsly. I'm mean, yeah, they could have been better, but, come on! The Leviatan arc, that went from season 6 to 7, was just awesome, showing us that even the ones we believe to be the good characters can become the villains and introducing us to the original monsters. The arc of the Fallen Angels (season 8 and 9) was also pretty good. It was in season 8 the boys got the bunker, a place that they could actually call home and gave us Crowley becoming the main villain again. Not only that but also introduced us to the Knights of Hell and Metatron. Of course we couldn't forget the Darkness Arc, having a faint start in season 9 and going through until 11, where we finally got confirmation of what we already knew: CHUCK IS GOD! I loved season 11 and Amara. Her story with God was actually very well made and allowed us to percieve a little of God's nature, as being not of a Creator without flaws. Of course I can't forget about the fact it was followed by season 12. I have to agree, that one was not very good compared to the others. I mean, after fighting against a Prince of Hell, the First Demon, Algels, Archangels, the King of Hell, Leviathans, Alphas, Metatron and God's sister, the Winchesters find themselves fighting British Men of Letters? I have to agree with Chuch, that's kinda weak. Of course the search for Lucifer's son and the episode where Dean kills Hittler really light up the season, but overall it could have been better. And then we have the Jack arc that is still running. Jack's introduction really gave a new pace to the series, as we get to see the Winchesters at the role of parenting all while dealing with Jack's powers. Season 14 was really full of twists what caused to become rather unpredictable, from Michael's plan to use the monsters to conquer Earth, passing by the condiction of Jack's soul to the ultimate reveal of God being the true villain. Season 15 can't still be judge properly as we barely made it through its middle point. There's still 7 episodes yet to air and much can still happen. Will the boys be able to kill God? Is God even the last villain? Or is Billie going to be revealed as the villain at the last moment? Some new character may even pup on to the party all of the sudden! And we can't forget Lucifer is still awaken in the Empty who may actually have an all agenda of its own. So much that can still happen...
Listen, season five was the intended ending for the show and they pulled it off as damn near perfectly as a show can get. You can't convince me it isn't the best season in the show.

I think 13 should be higher. I thought that was great, I personally enjoyed season 7 but I think it should have been lower. Why is season 15 even here. I agree with the top 2 although I think they should be flipped. Even so the intro of Castiel and the religious aspects was amazing. And honestly season 1-5 were top tier television. Those were by far the best

Season 6 manages to add a lot to the lore of Spn, soulless Sam was so unexpected & amazingly done, Castiel as sort of the big bad of the show came out of left field & was so surprising & the best part is that they earned that tension.
The samuel dynamic & even the war between factions of Angels was so cool.
Finally I love how we see Dean go back to season 1-2 level of care for Sammy & it's just emotional.
Season 6 gets a lot of bad rep but I think it balances the monsters of the week & story episode incredibly well.

Season 1-5 is the best for me! I used to watch it religiously. After S5 though it didn't feel like the show knew where it was going, and at that point I was only watching to see it through to the end since I had been a dedicated fan for so long. However I had to stop halfway through S12. Honestly I barley remember what happens after S5 lol.
Season 6 was awesome in my opinion but yeah, I guess I see what you mean. I’m still watching it but Season 7 kind of lost me with the Leviathans, what happens with Bobby and so on. My favorite seasons are Season 1 to 6.
