The enemy has a way of making a good deed seem bad. It is a device he uses to get us to dilute the message. Truth is truth. Its a serious thing to hold on to the truth out of fear of disappointing people .Ezekiel 3:18-19
The problem with being subtle is that your message tends to get lost in the translation.
Careful, careful the time is nigh; not time to water down the truth of God. What would the great apostles be warning about: “come of her my people” we have a message to preach. The love of The Lord declares it, many will be easily deceived. No matter the artistic or articulate speech, don’t compromise the truth of God. Not the truth of Adventism but God’s word. It’s God’s message that we been provoke to invoke upon our brethren from other faith. For the love of the brethren
Our church leadership typically only wants to hear good things about themselves. If you’re going to turn things around and drive growth, one thing is required the-truth. In love and respect but with power and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.. Just tell-it-like-it-is truth, of course, in love
According to the 3 angels message. All are inseparable. They were proclaimed together with a loud voice so they should be taught/preached together. Many persons left Jesus when Jesus taught unpopular things
Aren’t seventh day adventists supposed to proclaim the three angels messages in Rev 14: 6 -.. about babylon(sea beast of rev 13 )wasn’t that to begin since the hour if is judgement /cleansing of the sanctuary begins. How then do you say we have to know the right time to declare the beast Didn’t Rev 14 says the time is now?.
Further, postmodern youth, when taught well, do not see the call "come out of her my people" as narrow minded since it is grounded in good sense... that Babylon is about to be punished. Truth isn't cold unless it's teachers are.

The lamblike beast is the new Rome in the toes of the image of Daniel 2. Liberty is coming to an end suggesting a full withdrawal of the Holy Spirit ( where the Spirit is there is liberty) suggesting close of probation and Micheal standing up as in daniel12:1
The image to the beast belongs to the lamblike beast not the healed beast

I like Jon Paulien's take on USA history in relation to religion on that soil.
10:00 argument is kind of right and kind of wrong - Catechizm is a source of teaching for Catholics. Sure sunday visitor is not same authority as council but we can use it as opinion of Dr. Paulien in Adventism because he do not speak as a GC session. Still both point to certain ways of understanding in a denominations. Still I wonder what he shared on the topic since it was historically incorrect...

This is one apologitic theologian. Truth owes no man apology. You cannot wash down the truth! God is not honoured! Give up your work if you cannot do so.
Bro, the gospel must not be preached by brute force. it loses its purpose when you use brute force. God is patient. When Daniel was tired when he was given the prophecies, God could have given him heavenly strength to continue the prophecy, yet the angel left and came another day when Daniel was refreshed and ready.
So glad I found this sermon, I agree wholeheartedly.
He relies waaaayyy too much on anecdotal rational.

Right. Catholic's can agree with this and look right at Adventism and all other denominations (40,000 and growing) that had their roots out of the 16th century.
Adventists tacitly believe Jesus Christ wasn't trustworthy when he said:
_"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into _*_all_*_ the truth"_ (Jn 16:13)
Somehow, Adventists tacitly defer to the authority of 4th Catholic Bishops to have affirmed which New Testament era books were and were not scripture (out of some 300+ early Christian writings) but believe that they all error'd they carried this book into Church, on Sunday and read it at Mass.
The Adventist position is this: the Holy Spirit led those early Christians to all truth on the New Testament canon but didn't do so on their worshiping Jesus Christ on Sunday (and the same bishops error'd too on declaring the OT to have 46 books).
In the end, the Adventist position is inconsistent and makes Jesus not only untrustworthy, but a liar.
(and note and Rev 13. The Adventist needs to show who in history first believed that the Catholic Church, and not Caesar Nero, was the beast coming out of the water; if the apostles taught their descendants this, it should be easy)

@@andrewthomas8536 While you are looking for an answer from you pastor, so too ask them to explain why in God's Written Word, St Paul instructions Christians not to be concerned with what Jews are saying with them not keeping the Jewish boundary markers. And ask him how is it that Christianity UNIVERSALLY error'd on the Sabbath, no matter where you found a Christian Church, the Sabbath was no more and that there was no debate over it, anywhere in the world in the first few centuries. Ask him for evidence that Christians were observing the Sabbath, that Ellen Whites fallible interpretation of scripture is right.
_16 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink or with regard to a festival or a new moon or _*_a sabbath. 17 These are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ._*
The Sabbath is no more. The Sabbath was a SHADOW of something greater: our resting IN Christ, celebrating in the new creation the day of rest on Sunday, the Lord's Day, the 8th day, the day of resurrection and ascension.
So too, the Church, with Christ as its head, *grew with a GROWTH FROM GOD.* (nearly 1800+ years before Ellen White)
_18 Let no one disqualify you, insisting on self-abasement and worship of angels, taking his stand on visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, *grows with a growth that is from God.*
And keep in mind, the Church is :
- The Pillar of Truth
- The Bulwark of Truth
- Is where the Manifold Wisdom of God is made known.
- Jesus PROMISED to lead it to ALL TRUTH.
- Jesus PROMISED that the gates of hell would not prevail
Christ's repeated promises protect it from teaching what is false, as true. A 19th c women in the USA would claim differently, teaching a new gospel (Gal 1:8). She had no authority whatsoever to say Christendom universally error'd. All the while, she read from a Catholic book, the canon itself decided by Catholic Trinitarians, the book copied and translated by Catholics, the meaning of the text guarded by Catholics, all of whom rested on Sunday, none of whom held to the Sabbath. In the end, Catholic's trust the Word of God, Trust Jesus Christ is dependable and faithful. She did not.
St Ignatius of Antioch was a disciple of St John, the same St John taught by Jesus for 3 years. A great example of scripture, He (St Ignatius) who hears YOU (St John) Hears ME (Christ)
“If, therefore, those who were brought up in the ancient order of things have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord’s Day, on which also our life has sprung up again by Him and by His death-whom some deny, by which mystery we have obtained faith, and therefore endure, that we may be found the disciples of Jesus Christ, our only Master.” Ignatius, To the Magnesians, 9:1 (A.D. 110).
@@andrewthomas8536 open your bible to the table of contents. Who decided this list, when did they do so, what authority did they have, and did any of them hold to the Sabbath? This is bible lesson #1, before we turn to the first page of Genesis.

Look that the plank in your eye !! *The Seventh Day Adventist Church allows for the killing of the most innocent and defenseless human being in their hospitals: the unborn.* The Catholic Church does not. Catholic Hospitals do not. *SDA hospitals and doctors profit doing so. Blood money. In word, this is 100%. EVIL. How could YOU belong to a Church that allows this? The Seventh Day Adventist Church operates these hospitals and is responsible for allowing the killing of the unborn under their "care".* This is 100% the work of the evil one.
