You’re right! Sometimes you fail to appreciate what you have until you leave it for a while. Glad to see that you have supportive family & friends, so you’re definitely not short in this category. Believe me when I say that you motivate them as well & they see and appreciate your drive, character, and talents thats driving you to succeed and become successful! You’re a terrific “Role Model” for your family, friends, country, especially those who have the potential to “contribute” and do “meaningful” things! By the way, I also enjoyed your focus on Korean delectable foods, a favorite of mine and when I was in Asia! Take care, always!!!!!
I'm glad you kept visits with family and friends private. They could be themselves and you had a better visit. The food and locations look so inviting. My dogs understand about cats but don't know how you can not be a dog person.
Happy to enjoy this with you Gina!!! Wonderful time that you had to recover between your studies. Full of joy when you were back home with friends & family. Lot to catch up while you were not there. Looks like you had a great & snowy Christmas over there. You made a lot of things over there. 😍😍🤍🤍
Such an enjoyable vlog, it was lovely seeing your reunions with your family and friends! 😃 great that you could go home and recharge, will need it for the new semester ahead of you! Congrats on getting good grades, good luck for uni 🍀, and can't wait for the next vlog ☺ P.S: love, love the mukbang ;)
It's been almost two years since I left France. I miss it like crazy. I have been homesick for months. No huge episode but more of a chronic affection at a low dose. I never liked Canada. I was pretty unlucky from the beginning. I guess if the situation were different my experience all together would have been more pleasant. I wouldn't have affected my mental health so much. Maybe I would have loved it here. I would have wanted to stay and settle down here. I understand everything you said in this video. When I went to the US, back in 2017, I didn't miss France at all. I was so depressed a few days before and after leaving. And now here I am in Canada homesick. It is really two completely opposite situations. I know I have only a couple of months until I will go back definitively. I am scared and excited. The most exciting thing that I am thrilled about it the fact that I will go back to school. I have finally a goal in life. I hope I will not be disappointed like in the past. Wishing you all the best
I have not had Tanghuru either. Is it in NYC? By the way, have you been to NoVA (northern Virginia?) to Annandale? Annandale Pike is like little Koreatown. You should go there for your Korean fix. It's a lot closer than NYC.
I heard! But I don't drive, so trip to Annandale might as well be a trip to NY to rent and all 😂 but I do plan to go at least once while I'm here! Thank you for the recommendation:) and I do believe that they have Tanghuru in NYC!
OOH I wish I had a recommendation but sadly I got nothing 🥲 I have heard about a couple of places but they were all badly reviewed by Korean friends (I think they're very fusion and not authentic at best)... so to this day still our only option is Annandale I guess😂

Missed you so much. How is your study? And how are you doing?
Update on my school life soon! I’m good thank you xx

Favorite Korean restaurants in the DC area? We just got back from Korea and are missing it already.

@@GinaEverywhere(sigh) I guess we have to be happy with Lighthouse Tofu (our go-to spot).
Omg I was just there yesterday 😆
Yay!
