I thanked for 10,000 subs when I made this video, but now it's at 12,000! Totally crazy! I will respond to everything in the comment section for a while, if you want to ask any questions. - Martina
I have followed this channel for years, but first today I discovered that Martina was missing the pinky finger on her left hand. No big deal, but got me curious on when it went on its own adventures without the owner? In this video you can se bandage on the stump. So it may have happened some time before this video was made. Hope the pinky have a nice adventure on its own :D
Same here, just realized and came to check if it was always like that and i just didnt noticed. you can see in the following videos that she trys to hide (very understanding) but now she just dont care anymore (you go girl!) keep being amazingly awesome!
In case you are still wondering... Idk how accurate it is, but I ready that it was from a DIY project that went awry. I'm m not sure if it was a saw if some sort or something else, but that's all that has been said
I'm doing the same now. She still has it in the portal cube video posted after this one but videos after there is parts out slips. This is the oldest one I've noticed it's missing. I am glad how the last year(maybe longer) where she has gotten a lot more comfortable with not hiding it.
would it not be easier and quicker to cut the record with the scroll saw instead of the hot knife ?? plus i thought it was bad to apply heat to vinyl :/ but i do like this idea
Hi! Melting vinyl isn't a good idea, because it creates a chloride acid steam and it is very dangerous for you health. It is better to work with vinyl in mechanical way. Good luck with you chanel, I really like it! ;)PS Sorry for my mistakes:)
That is a good point, and I should probably have mentioned the cutting was done with a gas filter mask and under ventilation. Thumbs up for pointing it out :) And thank you!
Great project, maybe make the clock hands glow-in-the-dark, or light up with the strips as well? It doesn't seem that easy to read the time when the LED backlights are on in the dark.
That is a good point, and it is no secret that it's main purpose is not to tell the time. That being said, it does quite alright in the light. In the dark you are right, it would need some lighting or another clever solution to be functional and not only decorative :)
Natural Nerd well, your modular design makes it easy to swap out a vinyl template that has numbers cut out for the light to shine through, thus adding functionality. Wait, you just gave me an idea for a clock with no hands, but has a rotating face instead :-)
All I did was to cut out the motive (for instance iron man) out of an image of a vinyl record, then print it out in the same size as a record to use it as a template for where to cut. If you want to download it, it's on our website.
i have 2 vinyl's i need to do something like this with. i would always donate any usable vinyl to a charity shop to make them money and to give someone else a chance to love the record but i have 2 that are a Skippy ruined mess that i bought unfortunately in that condition and i would love to recycle them into something useful

You gotta watch the hair flicks, as they can be a tad detrimental to one's beautiful hair locks 😋😈😏
