The last 4 videos ive watched started with "just fire up your $3000 CNC machine" so its appreciated seeing an actual DIY video with reasonable tools xD
A great project. I love that you use common household tools, and do not have an awesome fully kitted out workshop like most DIY channels have. Even I could make this stand. Brilliant.
It's a beautiful project and seeing this video after watching the latest ones really makes pop up the evolution and the improvement you made in just a couple of years!
As I already wrote before an excellent channel, with great content. One of my favorite overseas. Because of the language barrier, I do not understand much, but the authors make the most visible. Good luck to you, development, new ideas and subscribers. With love from Russia!
Hi! I really like this headphone stand! Well done! I know you said that you wanted to keep the electronics simple but if you have the time to "play" a little bit more with the electronics you can make this stand charge your headphones. Plug it to the wall and let it have two outputs, one for the LEDs and one for your headphones. I don't know if everything can fit underneath the stand, though... But I think it would be really cool and it will make your desk even more organised. :) Keep up with the good work!
my shop teacher always had us make precuts that would be a straight line, starting from the edge of the wood to a cm away from the design, we would do this all around the design, to make it easier to cut, and not weaken the bandsaw.
I just found your channel. You make some very cool projects. I don't know how available it is in Norway, but I've seen a torch used on the edge of acrylic to make it crystal clear. He just ran the flame over the edges. If you can locate one it would be much easier than trying to polish them. Troy
This is a very good technique. propane and butane torches should be avail everywhere in the world. Even the small butane lighters for cigars and creme brulee work.
I have the same problem in Belgium. It’s very difficult to find darker wood here so I end up mostly with using pine and staining it. For most projects this is fine, the only time I found it troublesome was when building a chessboard.
Nice video gave me a few ideas but just so you know only throw away a tool if it’s completely destroyed. Even though your hole saw bit wobbles, it still cuts. Hold on to tools like that you never know what you’ll use it for in the future. You might have to do something that’s not important how it looks but you know it will destroy a tool.
ah ok. well you did a great job anyway. pine slits really easily, but in the end theres no harm done at all. i really like that you spend so much time on details, like rounding off the vertical arm with the plane and file, and wood burning rather than using marker. its another lovely project, and i'm sure you learned lots trying out some new tools, just like i did from watching. see you in the next one! :-)
I agree with the issue of getting different materials of wood here in Norway. it's really hard. specially since in example walnut is imported and needs to be bought (shiped and tolled and everything) trough bigger companies.
I was just randomly looking for some Companion Cube DIY and then I found your channel. Well... Are you doing this as a hobby or is it your job? I was just wondering how you did learn dealing with wood, soldering etc. :) Would be lovely to get an answer. Greetings from Germany
Hello, thanks for your interest! This is just a hobby, and usually I try to learn as I go. By no means any master, but learning new skills is half the fun of making in the first place :)
Kom over videoene deres for et par uker siden og har sett nesten alt dere har laget. Utrolig moro å se noen i Norge har en slik kanal av så god kvalitet. Utrolig moro. Et lite spørsmål. Har dere i seinere tid kommet over noen steder i Norge man får tak i mer eksotisk treverk?
Hi :-) After the GOT throne this is the 2nd project of yours that I'm gonna try! Would you please be so kind as to tell me the measurements of your parts? That would be awesome. Thank you so much in advance and keep up the creativity!!!
The rgbs you're using are meant to be controlled one by one :) every led can be set to a specific Color. These are way expensier than normal 5050.. Hurts to see them used as normal strip... But nice project! Everything has rgbs nowadays. :D

XD
That was amazing. I plan to make this for my son's room. I'm going to share this very nice organization project with my friends.
It came out great!!
I'll trade it for your chair!
If only I could ship it! ^.^
Looks beautiful!
And the headphone stand is awesome as well! :)
You got yourself a new fan. Keep up the great work!
Thanks! I like your profile pic :)

1:15... if it's stupid and and works... it's not stupid!!!
those are the wisest words i've heard in my entire life
That's quite nice! For an added effect you could fill the center spiral with epoxy resin to make it solid but light can still pass though.
That's a great idea. Sadly epoxy resin is really hard to come by in Norway
Natural Nerd I see. You could try searching for it online, I'm sure there's some online suppliers.
that's a pretty cool room, awesome companion cube
This is exactly the kind of video I was looking for. Very cool

nice video... I love watching your channel grow!!!😃
Bra, prosjekt. Oppdaga kanalen nettopp, men mange gode ideer. Ny sub
Beautiful work!
Nice, was wondering when you guys were gonna post. Great video.
I feel like resin in the center would be a great finish as it allows the base to be flat to drop off additional things onto the base.
I found random this channel but I'm support you for this and others
I really like this build. It looks awesome!
OMG, I love you ! Thank you for sharing your work !!
omg the best youtube chanell on the world
Personally instead of a metal handle I would of used a wooden one. But overall fricking amazing!!! You are really talented!
my shop teacher always had us make precuts that would be a straight line, starting from the edge of the wood to a cm away from the design, we would do this all around the design, to make it easier to cut, and not weaken the bandsaw.
Very nice project! I would build it for my own by I won't have the time at the moment. Love from Germany!
Thank you!
Great craftsmanship!
Really well done
Looks great and thanks for the video! This is an old video so I'm sure you've seen the new Jasper Circle Jig's? Much easier to make circles.
EXCELLENT VIDEO. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT IS THE EXACT MEASURE OF THE HEIGHT OR THICKNESS OF THE WOODS AND THE ACRYLIC?
Cool build!
That's a very cool design! 👍😎
¨do it yourself¨ as if everyone had these machines at home, that was a good one
Great handwork :)
Nicely done.

Great idea, and very creative. I like it a lot...

Wow I just found your channel, just great, wow you do a beautiful job,I'll be watching your videos tonight,my respect to you,my god.

As a woodworker I was so proud when I saw the little wood plane come out
Hello, very good video, could you give me the measurements used. from Buenos Aires Argentina Thank you
Very nice job young lady!!
Cool project.
Bravo it is the best video i have ever seen
Great idea I like your design.
This so awesome maybe one day when I got my own place I’ll be back to make this haha
GREAT JOB! Can you use the USB AC wall plug adapter with this?
Very good work. I teach wood burning classes. You have a talent. Don't waste it.
Nice job!
looks nice!

did the video just end at 9:47?
Awesome project!!!
Cool design, Gillar verkligen dina videos.
after you drilled out one hole for the spiral, could you not have put it into the scroll saw?
Yes! Mine is not amazing at wood. But you are right!
ah ok. well you did a great job anyway. pine slits really easily, but in the end theres no harm done at all.

I give ya 2 thumbs up! Good job there lady :)
Can you guys make a version of this that attaches to a wall?? I don't have much surface space in my office, but I have a lot of empty wall space!
Nice idea you have there :)
If you cut the led strip what do you do to the other bit
Such a great idea! I might copy you! :)

Que lindo ver uma garota fazer um trabalho como esse. Parabéns
you could have used the scroll saw for cutting out the swirl in the hearthstone logo that would have possibly kept if from cracking
This is so awesome.
Amazing!!!! I love that
Great job

Natural Nerd Thank you, this is so cool! I really like the stuff you create.
the lamp is great I love it btw I would have tried to put a wireless charger in there I think I'll try that when doing the lamp
Just discovered your channel, I am already addicted😊 Quick question, is the giveaway still going?
Awesome, thanks! And yes, the giveaway is still on :)
hey you should place a preassure sensor on top so the stand lights up when u place your headphones down :)

Вау, тебе с такой прической намного лучше🔥❤️🌷

The board looks like 3/4" or 18 mmm
Really awsome ❤
really cool, nice job :)
what did you use to cut the acrylic?
COMPANION CUBE! ❤❤
Hi :-) After the GOT throne this is the 2nd project of yours that I'm gonna try! Would you please be so kind as to tell me the measurements of your parts? That would be awesome. Thank you so much in advance and keep up the creativity!!!
i would literally buy this for a billion dollars right now
wwowwww!!! awesone!!!!
super like it!!
Why didn't you use the scroll saw to cut out the spiral?
Love your works, Great Job, Btw what happened to your left arm?
Any one know what wood is This?
Hvilken "wood stain" brukes?
Mahogny

No, these are not individually addressable :) And thanks!
so amazing
What kind of jig saw that you have?
Bosch!
so no one s gonna mention that there's an io arcana model in the early vid? neat
Wunderful work, tak for videoen :-)
shouldve mounted the led along the walls, so the lights meet in the middle would give a better look, and would mount better.
This looks just like DIY Perks
Very cool😃
nice video !!!
You are amazing!
You guys need a laser cutter and a CNC milling machine.
You should build stand for this stand
