He was unfit in medical test.In one interview his father may be said he had an accident just prior the 1st trial. That was the only reason for his failure. Otherwise there was no other problems.

I had read many facts regarding capt vikram batra and his contribution in the kargil war but it is only today when i came to know that capt vikram batra had a twin brother......after watching the video,i am feeling so motivated and i can imagine my self at his place....i cleared the NDA written exam but my brother could not.....this is the biggest inspiration that i have ever got till date and now i have decided ki "karna hai toh army hi join karunga,warna kuchh nahi karunga"......jai hind!

I was witness to his last live interview with Barkha dutt for NDTv.I could hear the shelling and gun fire noise at the back ground . When the news of Vikram's Martyrdom was flashed on the TV all of us cried uncontrollably. He was very handsome young man.
