  • Nobody had a career like Arn Anderson. For more than three decades he has been the epitome of “old school.” Hear him as you’ve never heard him before every Tuesday at 6am Eastern as you gives you a peak behind the curtain for the first time ever. Each week Conrad Thompson will examine Arn’s days in the territories, becoming an Anderson, creating the Four Horsemen in the NWA, becoming a Hall of Famer, and being a producer behind the scenes for years for WWE proving “The Enforcer” has a story unlike anyone else. Known for his trademark Spinebuster and incredible “promos” in front of the camera, it’s his timing and wit that has kept “the boys” in stitches behind the scenes. Hear for yourself why ARN is the new “symbol of excellence” in professional wrestling podcasting exclusively on Westwood One Podcast Network, Tuesdays at 6am Eastern.

This is when wrestling was awesome. The wrestlers, the story lines and the promotions. Thankfully we have channels like this so we can relive those great moments. Horseman are and forever will be the greatest faction in wrestling history. Ric and Arn were men. When they stepped up to the mic you payed attention. You know who I would have enjoyed seeing in the group in that Luger role was Rick Rude. Rude had a great body like Luger but Rick could talk and just seems like he would have fit in there. And he was a legit badass in real life so he would have been a great fit. Rude out there with Flair, Arn and Tully would have been 🔥

I would've loved to see AA have a run as the NWA/WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He was an excellent storyteller in the ring, and his promo skills were next level greatness. The delivery and conviction he gave to his words made you believe in what he was saying. It's too bad that they never pulled the trigger on making him world champion, because at times, he made the TV title feel like the A title.

I remember this angle back in the day of Ole going into the dressing room of the horsemen, talking to Flair and then getting jumped, and I thought that it was very well done. Having said that, I thought it would have been better if they didn't already have a camera in the dressing room of the horsemen. If you watch the angle closely, you'll notice that although a cameraman followed Ole going into the dressing room, they switched cameras when Ole went in and approached Flair. Subtlety, that told the audience that the production team knew what was about to happen, and I'm not a fan of that. I thought the angle would have been much more believable if they remained on the camera that followed Ole into the dressing room (with the cameraman following him inside) and if they didn't already have that second camera in there.

Not DX, not the NWO. This is exactly why I watched the NWA , instead of that crap from stamford .
While vkm was concerned about making Hogan cartoons and ice cream bars , the NWA was showing real wrestling talent and great story lines .

I hope Arn is grooming Brock to be the new Enforcer for the 4Horsemen. Please consider Griff Garrison for the Lex/Barry role. Maybe Ryan Nemeth as the new Nature Boy.👍

The Horsemen would stomped a mud hole in Jerry Lawler. One on one, they might have lost a few battles, but we all know that the Horsemen never, never fought one one one. So miss me with the fantasy that Lawler would have mopped the floor up with the Four Horsemen!

Jerry Lawler teamed with Dusty Rhodes and Magnum T.A. against The Andersons and Tully Blanchard in The MidSouth Coliseum in Memphis back in the Summer of 1986. Ole was very protective of the JCP guys so Dusty scored the pinfall.😉🤔🎤🎼🎸🤼‍♂️B.W.

People who glare all the time usually have elevated blood pressure. Was that YOU, Martin LUNDE, glaring at me years ago in a Black Eyed Pea restaurant in Hurst, Texas?
The match with Norton, how was that planned? He'd treat you like a tom cat on a rat, then you'd "win" with a trick? How much additional weight you ever use in an
Iron Cross on still rings? What? You say you couldn't do an IC? High blood pressure causes aneurysms---and sometimes those things suddenly burst. Keep glaring then.
Never a member of your fan club, ever.
