    I'm excited to see the integrated tail light for the mt-09. You guy always come out with the best lights and its worth waiting for something you know is good quality.

      We have working prototypes that we are testing and still tuning some parameters. We can't commit to a launch date yet but we are closer now by a huge amount. Thank you for your patience. We actually have a lot of angry people contacting us thinking that we are dragging our heels with this project. In reality Yamaha takes about three years to design, test, and manufacture their technology....and look at the size of their workforce and enterprise. We are a tiny company out of Central Florida that typically takes a year to a year and a half to go from start to flaunch on a tail light project. So it is refreshing to read your comment and I had to throw you a thank you for your patience. Cheers!

    Just a heads up, these are not plug and play outside the US. The US model has an extra power supply to feed the running lamps. If you want running lamps you have to run a seperate feed from elsewhere such as the headlight. Export bikes also have a different plug so the original plug has to be grafted onto the new indicators. Also don’t be fooled by wire colours black does not go to black, just to confuse us.

    Oui, pour autant :
    que le verre du clignotant porte l’homologation CE, donc un E avec code du pays (normes DOT ou autre non CE pas accepté); qu’il se mette à clignoter au plus tard 1 seconde après l’avoir actionné; qu’il clignote à une fréquence de 90 battements / minute (avec la tolérance, il doit s’allumer entre 120 et 60 fois par minute).

    I'm looking for a vid on the installation of the blinkers at 13:50 but it seems there isn't one.
    I know the rack holes up a little higher do not go through so I was curious as to if you drilled them to pass wire through.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is in fact a video for signal installation. Here is a link: th-cam.com/video/jbngLqSWBfM/w-d-xo.html
      The rear holes are blind. I did drill them out but I did not make instructions for that procedure because I can't undo damage to threads that impatient people are going to break when they attemp this. That hole is an M8. I used a drill bit that is smaller than the major diameter of the female M8 thread to punch through the inside wall there, while making sure I don't nick the threads. Then I ran the wires in. We have 3.5mm bullets on the end of those wires. I pass one through all the way and then the other so I don't have to pass bulk of two together.

    Did I understand correctly that everything you installed is included in the kit? Or are any of the parts add ons?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      One kit includes the signals, connectors, and mounting hardware. That is all you need to perform the installation. You can verify what you are getting on our website by looking at "What's in the Box" photo, and also reading the "In the Box" tab. Those two sets of information describe exactly what you get by clicking "add to cart" on that page. Some of these parts also have nuances like a different connector for Europe and Americas. We have warnings for the parts that have shown to have these nuances. At that point it is up to the customer to verify theiir bike setup so that they can purchase exactly what they need. We also have customer service guys standing by to help with all this.

    Question on the fasteners on the inside of the shroud that utilize a phillips head. On my bike they are not unscrewing, how do I remove these fasteners? I've tried to wedge a small flat head screwdriver behind but there is no room to get in there. I'm worried about damaging something by forcing it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically what works best is getting your hand around to the backside and applying a squeeze around the barrel of that fastener as you are turning inner screw. But it sounds like you don't have space for that. Another option is to use tiny flathead and to pry up on the head of the screw fastener to ratchet it past the barrel threads. There is a likelihood of damaging the plastic fastener with this method if you aren't careful.

    • @The9Jake
      @The9Jake 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TSTindustries Thanks for responding. I did the small flat head screw driver trick and it worked but I did damage one fastener so I'll have to find a replacement. Turn signals are awesome and really fit the styling of the front of the bike. Looks way better then stock. Thanks again and keep up the great designs!

    • @TSTindustries

      You're welcome. Sorry to hear about that fastener. Body shop and paint supply stores often have these in stock in different sizes and styles. Could be an option if Yamaha is expensive and with long lead time.

    Any help with how to install UK model?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Man, Yamaha really made a mess for us in the aftermarket industry with moving around connector models and what circuit is available at the connector for the front signals. The Americas bike is different than the European version. Currently we are getting around the issue using our 2-2 converters for that connector type (CVY02), along with a running light connection kit. We made a special product page for this on our website here: tstindustries.com/tst-mech-gtr-front-led-turn-signals-select-internation-yamaha-mt-models.html
      By the sound of things you already have the parts in your possession. In this case you probably don't want to shell out additional money for parts and shipping. There is a way to do a bit of wiring, reusing the wire and connector from your OEM signals, and then running a separate wire from a swithced and fused 12v supply to the remaining blue wire on our signals. This requires a bit more skill and understanding that the plug and play version, but we could continue the dialog with you to guide you through that if you want. This would have to take place in the customer service portal on our website though.
