Get entered to win this bike! It's a real gem. Go to yammienoob.co A few notes before you crucify me: 1. I realize now that many models include the negative throttle turn to cancel cruise control! I guess I never noticed. 2. I misspoke about the high and low speed compression settings. I meant to say that they are included in each leg of the fork, the outside bolt adjusts one and the inner clicker adjusts the other.
8:04 Sorry, but you've got that the wrong way round. High and low speed damping doesn't refer to the speed of the machine, it does refer to the speed the shock travels through its stroke. If you're doing 90 on a smooth motorway, then low speed damping will be operating, but if you hit a pothole at 30 in town, then the high speed damping circuit will come into play.
OMG that's the exact model, color bike my son was horribly injured on in February. He was almost killed when someone turned left in front of him. The description of high versus low speed compression backwards... The standard meaning for the term "High-Speed compression" refers to the speed of compression of the shaft... Unless Yamaha has decided to do it as you describe for some reason
I agree, I don’t mind the stock sound. Plus, no one is making a low aftermarket exhaust. I’ve heard a few in the neighborhood either Akra exhaust, they do sound good, but can be noisy with the baffles removed.
I don't mind the look of the exhaust at all. It would have been nice if Yamaha could have blackend it in some way, whether with high temp paiint or ceramic coating.
Buying an MT-09SP later this year when I can find a dealer with it in-stock -- got my first bike, brand new MT07, in late 2021. First time I'd ever been on a bike was MSF that August. 8700 miles now and ready for a little more power on the highway... and it's time to buy a full suit and get out for a track day at Homestead :) Throwing on another Akrapovic exhast, 2WDW tune, tail tidy+TST tail light and DONE!
Exhaust was my first thought. That looks like something a shop guy mocked up after a drawing board meeting and then no one talked about it again until they started rolling off the production line.

2023 MT-09 was my first bike. I had it fully modded, sprint filter, intake mod, Yoshimura full exhaust, and ECU flash from Vcyclenut along with plenty of other goodies. Once I tuned the MT-09, totally different bike! Night and day difference in its willingness to wheelie. I have a 2023 MT-10 SP now that I got for $13k brand new. Deal I couldn’t refuse! I love the MT-10 SP! It is such a bad ass bike! The CP4 engine is undeniably one of the best sounding bike engines ever. It wheelies more often and sometimes unexpectedly than the MT-09 did. I have a video of my front end just coming up in second as I was approaching 90mph. The MT-09 is a great bike, but the MT-10 is better imo

Its a shame but sacrifices must be made to maintain the pricepoint. Curious to see what failures the stunt bros will see, micro cracks galore.
Is it just me or is this camera lens really dirty ?, I keep seeing smudges everywhere in the video.
Once again, KTM does the same thing and shows u on the dash what your resume speed is set to.. I’m sure other manufacturers may have the same
He doesn't read this shit, dude. At least once a video he's wrong about some things. The entire comment section screaming at him. Same thing mentioned for the rest of the ownership of the bike. He don't give a fuck.
@@sofakingcrazy1 I know bro, not my first rodeo… but at least you and others saw it. Just correcting his lambasting of that pos.. although I would take one for free 🤓
Love my SP
I'd love it if you'd reach out to Kelpi Customs for an exhaust.
Very unorthodox exhaust, but I kinda dig it. I bought a lanyard, do we get entries automatically or do we have to select a specific sweepstakes like it says on the site, I didn't see any selection option.
That is not true about high and low speed compression
Would it really costs that much more money if they gave the exhaust a nice steel finish or even just painted it? It looks like something the found at a land fill, lol.
I seen one today. I'm good ill stick with my fz1 streetfighter
im out.. i put my telescopic fishing rod under my fz-09's seat.. doesnt look possible on the sp..
Looks worse than the previous model, but better than the latest model.
Isn't this a 2023 model?
Why he blurred speedometer ? Just don't know and asking to know, Love Yammie ❤
THATS HOW A ZX10 CANCELS CRUISE CONTROL.....
Why review an old gen3 model and not the new gen4
If someone who wins your giveaway lives overseas do you ship it to them?
