Trump needs an advisor with the mindset of Ben Shapiro. I voted for Trump because I expected him to do certain things he promised. Drop the phone, stop tweeting, and start acting like a freakin president.

Tree dragon Session's reason for recusing himself from the Hillary investigation is because he criticized Hillary before during the campaign. Similarly, he recused himself from the Russian investigation because he had a routine meeting with a Russian operative.
If every time a politican does a routine job or takes a stance on something he has to recuse himself later on when he becomes the AG, he really doesn't have much of a job left to do. Someone with such unreasonable "high" standard certainly is the Democrats dream AG, so easily disarmed and deemed useless for any important n controversial issues which most likely he has taken a stance on. Not sure why Ben isn't adhering to that kind of standard and recuses himself from this case since Session is a friend of him. lol.
BTW, the Russian narrative is working beautifully as noted by Ben that Trump so far has fired Flynn, Comey, Session n Rosenstein r next in line. It doesn't matter whether Trump is guilty or not, the damage has been done and will continue to do so until they get rid of Mueller. And that means it is imminent that Trump hires an AG who would back him up to fire Mueller as well as the Deputy AG who had appointed Mueller out of panic to get the pressure off his own back.

This is just a question on conservative viewpoints. Do conservatives have to want governmental moral regulation, or do they leave it to society to set morality and rules, or do they not even have to do any of that? I was just wondering.
In the beginning, conservatives were in favor of some regulations. Remember, from the earliest days of the Republic, we have had Blue Laws and laws governing church attendance at the local level. As time went on and more and more conservatives see the futility of these laws in arresting the corruption of our culture, and the fact that we are losing valuable libertarian and center-right allies, we have for the most part shifted to a more societal than legal stance. I.e. "It's ok to be gay, just leave us Christians alone and know that you are not doing yourselves any favors." Or "The government has no business outlawing adultery but that doesn't mean we should be glorifying or encouraging such behaviors."
We have to pass the bill to know what's in the bill.

The Republican mother turns out to be very wise and insightful, and Amy Adams's character is shown to be dead wrong and foolish in dismissing her advice. And worth noting: Amy herself makes it a point to never get political about anything, avoiding sucker punches like the plague.

Why is it pathological narcissism if the Russian thing bothers him immensely? If we presume that it's baseless, or at least no overly significant basis of truth there (no more so than ill doings of other politicians and candidates), then isn't it to be expected that an ongoing systemic attack that is clearly harming his approval rating and potentially destabilising other things, such as his relationship with foreign leaders and general global standing will be upsetting and that he will feel the need to do what he can to discourage and put an end to such accusations. That's my feeling.
I'm not a US citizen, but personally I find the ongoing attacks of Trump to be pretty disrespectful, and I don't think that's a naieve stand point. I think that the President deserves respect unless their behaviour warrants otherwise. I don't see that he's done anything to not deserve the respect that is inherent in the position he's attained.
I guess that's a subjective viewpoint as there is room to be offended by some of his actions, statements and policies - but personally I don't find any of them to be offensive or overly questionable, certainly not more so than one would expect of a politician, or any human for that matter. We're not going to agree on everything, so it's normal to disagree on some things yet still be respectful overall.
