EDIT: In Mr. Monk In Miami, Randy had this crazy theory that the ghost of the woman on the operating table poisoned the doctor. Crazy right? 😂
I noticed that Monk seemed to be suffering from the same allergies.
Jason Gray-Stanford was so brilliant with the presentation of his theories in this show, that and his misinterpretations of crime evidence. He generated so much comedy and is probably the most underrated actor in the series.

It wasn't a theory but when Randy was giving The Captain a VIN from a car and said 'T' as in Tsunami......Always brings me to tears.
Ive started saying that to mess with people. They always give me the same reaction as the Capt. 😂😂

I think the best one was the reverse liposuction theory in Mr. Monk Meets Dale the Whale.

I dunno, I liked him working with Captain Stottlemeyer, I can't imagine who would replace him, and there's no reason as to why Monk wouldn't come back to his job.
I would have preferred they kept Randy single than put him with a single mother, plus it indicates that things didn't work out with her remarriage, which is pretty sad.
@@randomfullywonderful her ex was kind of a terrible person. I was actually angry that that's how she got written off the show, because it was clear her ex wasn't a good match for her. I felt like she and Randy had great chemistry and I'm glad she ended up with someone who would treat her well.
I don't think he's incompetent, just a bit quirky.
KupKate215 He certainly had enthusiasm for the job. He just needs a Stottlemeyer-type foil, to help keep him grounded before he spins out and takes his theories any further. lol ♥️ Randy

My personal favorite was in season 1 when he tried to explain how Dale the Whale could've murdered that woman and said maybe he had liposuction to make himself lighter and mobile and then had a reverse lipo suction afterwards to cover his tracks. 🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣

Randy Disher is one of a kind, that you never replace him for anything ( he made Kasey laughing so hard) love watching Randy and his crew of Monk the T.V. Shows are my favorite all of Monks episode is my favorite, I don’t have any favorites episodes, love them all the same
To be fair, in the episode where two Julie Teegers were killed - both of his theories were fairly sound and one of them was half right.
So, give Randy some credit, he ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he tries.
And he seems to be good at paperwork.
And another one involved Terminator-style time travel 😂
His bridge theory in the recent movie was also quite funny.
Could you please post that clip, where Monk and Sharona are locked in a cave and Monk asks Sharona to give him the ring back he gave to her, because it was Trudy's ring and he wanted her to be with him in that cave? I really really like that moment. The episode was about Monk and Sharona following the husband or boyfriend of Randy's mum. Monk gave that ring to Sharona because they need to act like a cupple.
Maybe you know what I mean. I really really like that scene and it always makes me tear up.

Randy would've made a great serial killer. The connections he makes between targets is illogical enough that they couldn't be deduced, since they only make sense to him. Even Monk wouldn't be able to bring him down
Some of Randy's theories were really funny
I also remember when Monk kept on saying like “ergo, the killer knew…” “ergo, the killer was..” and Randy goes “Ergo the killer. Is that Hungarian?”. The funny thing is that there actually is a rock band called R-GO(pronounced “ergo”) in Hungary.
As *The Magnus Archives* has made abundantly clear, a tall building is *not* the opposite of a spider. If he'd been afraid of being buried alive in a giant pit, there might be something to that theory.
Natalie's surprise birthday for Monk was impressive she got him good i applaud her for that 👏🏻

Poor Randy... If Monk had come up with any of those theories, he would have been taken seriously. Of course, he also has a lot more proof/circumstantial evidence.

First one was an old one ive heard, i think the poison was in the ice cubes because 2 people drink fast and dont die while the last person drinks slow. Ice melts into the drink and poisons it on time
Actually that was one of the later ones. She ends up becoming the captain's girlfriend and later wife but yes, the poison was placed inside the ice. After it melted a bit the poison became exposed and that's when he died.

You have to watch Psych... It's from the same network and similar in crime-solving, likeable characters and wholesome humour (though of course very different and unique in its own way).
