Thank you for the information. It can be so confusing trying to be there for someone experiencing this illness but being knowledgeable about it can help us to understand and show care for those we care about

As you stated, not all patients respond favorably to lithium. The valproate made me dizzy and I fell down frequently. I take carbamazepine. If you have bipolar disorder, you and your psychiatrist will need to work as a team to find the correct effective mix.

I would recomend a book called "BUDDHIST PSYCHOTHERAPY" by Dr. H. S. S. Nissanka
. There are many curable case, including Manic-depressive psychosis.

Lamictal (lamotrigine) works well for many people with bipolar disorder, including myself.

You screwed saying at the end: I hope you enjoyed this video, its tuff and sad and painful no reason to enjoy the content of it, instead: I hope you got the partial message of a truly misunderstood medical diagnosis

Bipolar disorder is nothing but unable to read and accepting realities of life. Developing strong personality is key.

Delirious mania is a bit more than a ‘weak flight into elation’. You really haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about.
Read Emil Kraepelin if you want to know the full spectrum.
