Hello guys
I have had a passion for repair since I was a child, Many rusty or broken metal tools are often discarded if not restored. Many tools will be reused for use. It is simply sharing skills, or simply entertaining videos. Hope you guys can help me complete this restoration, thanks for watching!

i'm sorry but all these videos are fake , where the heck all these speaker on random beaches lol , and the repair is done in reverse so it looks like he repaired but no he just destroyed it .

самое палево -это при разборке не было аккумуляторной батареи , типо кто то разобрал раньше колонку забрал аккум и снова собрал чтоб выкинуть ))

Отличное пособие, как испортить одну колонку, а потом используя вторую, отремонтировать первую!

@@davidsps9682 the speakers and the board went from trash to exellent in 2 sec bro , as if a ultrasonic cleaner repaired the dustcap on the speakers and the holes in the board yes of course .

что за бред очередной?он дросселя прозвонкой мерял?и как так плата сохранилась в МОРСКОЙ воде?ну хоть тестер где-то посвежее на помойке нашел,уже респект)))

The screws and little retaining plates coming out of the nikel plating already shiny was another tell.
An electrolytic capacitor is a sealed unit, unless it fails. Also, being in the sea is no different than you dropping a cap in
a glass of water.

these videos are obviously fake , you didn't show how you repaired the board , checking the inductors isn't fixing anything , you just dissasembled the speaker and made it work in open air and then sprayed mud on everything and called it a restoration , as if i was a fool .

They were wire brushed, and the green solution was plating liquid. And black oxide hardware is safe also.
The screws were wire brushed, and then , put in the plating solution. Oxide coated ones, do not need it..

I have been to junk/ recycle yards, and see things like this. I have a tube radio chassis from 1942, that I left outside , over the winter, and it looks a lot like this.
I also do not see why someone would fake something or anything for you tube.
I do not see the smaller channels making "money " from it.
And they don't know if you are going to stop by and critique their work .

Not even a real Harman Kardon Go&play. I am trying to restore my old one which I have bought new with my iPod Touch 4 and it looks different from the front. My unit only needs new subwoofers but they are discontinued. And where is the 30 pin iPod dock from the top, and the remote controller?

I don't care about 100% compatibility, I will make it fit using my own tools. But is it the same size and power?
@@andrasszabo7386 well it depends on which model of the first generarion you have. The bluetooth version has bigger ferrite magnets while the ipod version has smaller neodiym magnets. The drivers in this one are better but i suggest you just repair the old drivers
@@theloudspeakernerd-tlsn9322 I cannot repair the old ones. And even if I could, I would not want to do that. I am not skilled enough to try it. I will install any new ones I can fit in there, even if I have to mod the housing.They are gone far beyond repair. Missing the membranes completely.
