Yeah if you're anyone thats a big MC fan you know they easily could've made a mini series out of their history. The movie was good but it felt too short. They tried packing so much into such a short time and couldn't really go into more details on a lot of events and even cut out quite a bit of their history and some of the stuff the band members went through. Could make an entire movie alone off nicki sixxx. His book heroin diaries is insane. And that's just one year of his life lol. But I did still enjoy the movie. Just wanted more of it though.
@@TranzparentMethods If being a rich rockstar in one of the biggest bands of a generation with a endless amounts of hot chicks and doing whatever you want whenever you want means you're a douchebag then sign me up . Don't hate because they lived your wildest fantasy everyday.
MGK legit carried that movie. Not that everyone else was bad, but it's hard to make characters sympathetic or even just interesting when all they do is drugs-being a drug addict is mindlessly repetitive.
Completely agree. I really really don’t like MGK, from his music to his attitude / personality but he did Tommy Lee so much Justice for the film. Much love for that at the least. Seems like a chill dude but his music and whatnot has put me off really hard.
@@nephilimritual-band As someone who's been a fan of his since 2011, you couldn't be farther off on your perfection of MGK. Listen to more of his music and tell me it doesn't hit you in the heart.
MGK should have quit music and leaned into acting more. He's been unlikable in everything he's done EXCEPT for The Dirt, which he nailed it, dude earned his stripes with that part.
My buddies n me have chanted Crue Crue Crue Crue to countless concerts of there’s throughout the Detroit area & always had a blast! There music f’ing rocks 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
The Dirt is the most entertaining music biography I've ever read. I grew up on their music because of my Dad, but was never a fan. After reading the book I instantly had a new found love for that band. Not the music per se, but just the band and the hedonistic idea of a Rock 'n' Roll Band... cannot recommend enough that people read it. And definitely before watching the movie, which is just alright in my opinion when compared to the book, which is f***ing incredible!
I met Tommy twice and he’s such a kool dude. Extremely nice guy and took his time with me, no pressure and gave me 15 minutes just talking like old friends. 😊
Okay I'm not trippin... I even rewinded it just to do a double take and was like "isn't that nikki?? Maybe tommy had put on weight at one point or something? Nah pretty sure that was nikki 🤔" Lol
I wish all my friends weren't dead. I remember bits and pieces of my crazy ass life, it would be cool to have someone to remind me of shit I forgot. All my best friends didn't make it past 2005. I was the craziest one and somehow I survive. Crazy..
I wish “The Dirt” had more Ozzy Osbourne stories from when they toured together. A lot of my top favorite hilarious moments in the book was the stories including Ozzy. They had me rolling on the floor. “The Dirt,” is one of the most read books in prison.
Ozzy is 75 and looks like most 75 yr old guys , same with alot of rockstars like Keith Richards or Steven Tyler. Those guys ripped it up and lived the craziest best life anyone could of imagined and still made it to old age , not saying doing drugs is a great idea but clearly it doesn't mean you're guaranteed to die early. Live life to fullest it will all be over one day . Most guys would easily trade 10 yrs of life to enjoy a lifestyle like that
End of the clip Theo’s like “…that’s wicked dude…” but really we all know Tommy Lee just traumatized him by mentally painting a picture of Ozzy painting a wall with shit 😂😳🤣
What makes me laugh is that while Neil Strauss was writing “The Dirt” he was simultaneously falling in with a subculture of LA pickup artists including Mystery and Owen Cook (aka Tyler Durden) and he got a second NY Times bestselling book called “The Game” out of it.
It is a bunch of BS that they made the movie so short. They should’ve at least made it a limited series of one hour episodes. Netflix totally dropped the ball, and didn’t do Mötley Crüe or their book the justice they deserved
I saw that Motley Crue tour with Ozzy. Ita was the Bark of the Moon tour. Remarkably, both bands seemed very professional. I can't believe what I'm hearing out about Ozzy. What drugs was he on?
When Tommy Lee is the voice of reason you know things have gotten completely out of hand.
i really wish they made Dirt into a mini series so much happening, and wild watch, was great

More fake content is all that would amount to.
That would've gotten boring real fast. It's one thing to see it in print, but on the screen, it would've painted them as the douchebags they were.

"MGK. He played you, right?"
*Puts a photo of a young Nikki Sixx instead* lmao
🤦🏻♂️😂😂
That was a photo from a tattoo magazine from a while ago
Definitely did, also read Nikki's heroin diaries to see the truth

What a punch to the gut
like MGK or not, he did nail playing Tommy Lee
