Props to Kat for quitting the day she got a positive pregnancy test. That’s a great example of a mother’s love and sacrifice. And I appreciate her honesty about it all.
..she was smoking after the birth so she did not quit while pregnant. she took a break.
she quit smoking after her child was born.
@@robin3we’ll my mom just kept smoking cigarettes not just not as much as before she was pregnant I still hate it though
yet she didn't vacciante her kid and forced him to be vegan lmao also married an abuser
My mom smoked the entire time and drank Diet Pepsi no wonder im so effed up now. 😂

I fail to see how that's worse than the smell of resin......... do explain.....
If you had to choose between vaping and smoking (because quitting cold turkey could give you a heart attack), you'd choose smoking? Because tar is so much cooler than vape juice that's proven not to leave any resadue?
😂
I do Love Watermelòn 🍉

Wow. Stay strong Theo and Kat. I gave up smoking weed, vaping/cigarettes after 23 years. 3 months now. It ain't easy.
It is easy to
Going through the same thing now keep it up!
You won't take a fat hashy dab
Bruh weeds fine just lay off everything else
Weed is the hardest for me to quit.
I use to drink a 12 pack of beer a night and smoke 3 joints everyday for 20 years. A year and 6 months totally sober. I feel everything and the mornings are now my favorite. For me, I have found that I have had to embrace sobriety, hold it close, squeeze it and want it more than my next breath.
That's really moving and inspiring.
Great work mate. I'm proud of you.
Keep it up! Don’t look back, I’m sure you feel amazing with what you’ve accomplished!
Wow I've never heard it put that way but you hit the nail on the head and to express yourself like that is beautiful! I'm 7 years sober from opiates and even tho I have a lot of life struggles and am living with constant stress, fear and anxiety I will never go back. I'm proud of you!
That's poetic
“Just get a cigarette and be a man” cracked me up😂

She looks creepy and mentally unbalanced. Her Blackened skin isn’t helping.

She’s supposed to be really into her faith and traditional family living now. Thats how you know if a person has really matured and figured life out imo. Personally my wife and I got so far in our careers and are just now beginning to understand it’s a dead end road dying alone, serving a system that doesn’t give a 💩 about us. Im trying hard to bring her home with the kids where she’s loved and appreciated.
It’s so refreshing to see a celebrity like kat just being honest and real and wanting to better herself for her and her child. Good for her. I’m sure she’ll inspire many young people to be better people. 👍
Hell yes
She’s literally a nazi sympathizer, antivaxxer lmao

quit smoking , started vaping , quit that a few years ago but picked it up again. i just put it in the draw and said "this is it" i load up youtube and theo is talking about it. this is my sign
It really is. Make good use of it. You got this.🙏🏻💪🏻
You've got this
Ikr I’m in the process of tapering off, I gave up straight tobacco went to vaping and still going through withdrawls it’s crazy how strong tobacco is. I’ve quit vaping before which is why I wanted to do it this way. Now weed is down to about .5 a day. Switching to CBD after this joint that lasts me a couple days. Slowly tapering off made me feel so much more okay with quitting. Been planning this for months and so far tobacco is gone forever, about to give up weed for cbd and then vaping cold turkey once this disposable is gone
You can absolutely beat this Sam. I know you can.

Love seeing Kat clean and clear and centered. She’s such a beautiful person.
I really enjoyed this interview. I’m in recovery myself. I hated being in that bondage. it feels good to know that something doesn’t have control over my life. I’m also grateful for the 12 steps they really helped me.
That's awesome.
Theo is such a genuine person. Love him. 🙏
How do you not love Theo?? Love how real he is and the honesty he gets from his guests. I struggle with addiction as well and this makes me a little more normal as dumb as that sounds 😅
I don't know a single person that doesn't love the rat king bro. Dudes the most genuine, authentic person on the internet.
11 years daily weed smoker here, one month clean, had a lot of breaks like the one i'm going through, had to cut out a lot of friends in hopes this time it lasts. Stay strong people.
8 year daily smoker. On my second day of no smoking. The first 2 weeks I know are the HARDEST but I’m pushing through and hopefully. The longest I went without has been 2 months so I know I can do it!❤
Friends come and go as you mature and grow, is ok.
Keep your eye on the ball!
I know what its like man. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, was so bored all the time. Push through bro. It gets so better
Good for you so many think weed is not addictive or a problem but it most certainly is a issue so many over abuse it! I am 5 months sober of it and trying not to and I hope my partner will stop but he is so addicted to it that I doubt her ever will 😢
Why quit weed?
Thanks for bringing Kat on, I really wish her the best.
I never really listened to kat before .. I am HUGE FAN!!! So refreshing to hear someone just be so open an honest about who she is and the things she struggles with!!! This is such a good conversation
Cigarettes and alcohol addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago, when i lost my husband I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. Not until my son recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
YES very sure of Dr.benfungi. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
Yes he's Dr.benfungi Shrooms to me is a natrual healer. I know a guy who has used mushrooms in the same way and they have really helped him. mah dudes have safe trips all.
I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.
Love their warmth and chemistry

The feeling of wanting to smoke/vape never goes away. Especially when drinking.
I agree it is incredibly difficult to give up
Maby it`s time to quit drinking also?. Trust me, it`s a game changer on all levels
@@Ikaros23 not so easy... drinking and vaping are brutal
@@jasonjason5325 A part of the reason many never quit is because they are brainwashed into thinking that the short term gratification of the addictions is makeing them relax. When in reality it`s just relaxing under the consumption. Then comes the hangover, anxiety, shame, fear and so on. That is the addiction is fooling us into thinking that we are " cool, sexy, relaxed" when in reality we are getting fat, stupid, stressed, anxiety, fear, poor, unfit.
Try reading " Allen Carr`s", " easy way to control alcohol" and " easy way to quit smokeing/vapeing". I think you will be surpriced that in fact it can be done. And that there is nothing wrong with you. This is how i did it.

Love how Theo explains it, I've quit now for months both but I was having these same thoughts as Theo so its good hear him explain it so you know your not alone you just get tired of being a slave to these 2 addictions, bad habits until you step up and say no and have some serious will power and tell the addictions to go to hell I'm not doing this anymore.
I know the feeling of quitting, smoke for like 12years switch to vaping, then dipping. And finally kicked it years ago. The whole time i never thought i had an issue until i actually wanted to quit, and i realized how hard it was
I loved it. Vaping more then cigs weirdly. Switched to vape from well backwoods blunts with little weed. What made me quit is seeing my bullies quit smoking, my ex gf quit. I was still in shape so I had too or waste away.
@sadhu7191 In what sense, waste away?
@@steec6713 Money is better spent on other things, therefore it is wasteful to spend it on cigarettes.
TBH it’s all about when you ready.
I just stopped smoking after I did from 2013 to 2023.
There was no crazy thing that happened in my life or outside source.
Something in my brain just switch and I stopped.
I wasn’t even looking to quit smoking. I just didn’t want to anymore.
Damn Theo, you have blossomed into a great interviewer! I remember you from the O&A days. Love ya bro
Great interview
I smoked cigarettes for 31 years…2021 I almost died from Covid… I was in the hospital for 2 weeks … I stopped smoking then and it was the hardest thing I have ever been through. The only thing that helped me was to drink a cup of coffee when I would have severe cravings.
There's a teacher on here named John Melton, who created a great smoking cessation program using hypnosis and it is really, really effective. I took the class in 2006 and it helped so many clients to quit. He sin here teaching self hypnosis, maybe check it out, it's very relaxing and you can learn to do it yourself anytime.

I wish caffeine and other stimulants were discussed more in the addiction arena. As someone who’s got a lot of work and family obligations I became hooked to caffeine and pre workout drinks in my early 20’s. Long term use definitely changes you. Now a days I have more temperance but it definitely is a battle.
Yes! Caffeine is actually very harmful. I'm trying to quit after 30 years. Parents definitely shouldn't give it to children as well. It has a massive knock on effect physically and mentally.
I've withdrawn from caffeine twice by accident and it is unpleasant, three days of splitting headaches and feeling like garbage. The second time I was hiking in the middle of nowhere and I insist on using map and compass, could barely read the map. Could have found myself in trouble. I'd definitely cut back and then cut it out if I quit in future.
Are you referring to energy drinks?
Good point on caffeine. Everyone at my job will fight and call out of there is no coffee
Same thing happened to me. I was so addicted that I had fight or flight mode running 24/7. My adrenaline was off the charts. It took a long time after quitting for it to normalize.
this was a great interview

They're both beautifully humbled and infatuated. Aw.
Great analogy, Theo. It became my God/higher power when it was uncomfortable, I was angry, hurt, and a moment let me hit this thing. I will take that shit with me... Another great podcast/interview! Thanks, Theo.
That is the definition of Sin. Basically anything that is taking you away from looking to God.
Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not, in a couple of years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.
To be honest, mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on the planet and it is natural, they serve in many ways not only for mental related issues.
Can you help me with a reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. It is very hard to get a reliable source here in New Zealand. Really need!
Yes, Sporeville. I had the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction... Mushrooms definitely made a huge difference to why I'm clean today.
I wish they were readily available in my place.

"I like having an invisible friend" is the coolest way to say you're in touch with your higher power
I go extreme with everything I do, which is really a big fault... I started smoking at 19 (some sadness hit me) and I tried to quit so many times.. My first successful quit lasted 3.5 years (using a tablet) and I went back after an argument. I reached about 25 Cigs a day and I remember playing with my kids, hiding and smoking and I said that was it, I hated that it controlled me...I'm smoke-free for 4 years so far and I always keep reminding myself that it's very easy to fall back....
What a GREAT interview…
Prop's Theo!!!! I've seen some super deep interviews from you bro!!!! WOW
I appreciate that shes like "no, I LOVE smoking". That's my problem, I can forget about how much I enjoy that first smoke with a cup of coffee etc... If you ENJOY smoking, when you decide to quit for whatever reasons, you don't forget.

For me, smoking was the easiest to quit. Alcohol next then dieting was by far the most difficult.
I've quit alcohol, drugs, nicotine, caffeine. Quitting bad food is next and it's tough. Bad food is everywhere.
@insomnyuk yes, on the bad food, sadly, it's also the most affordable.
hard to get good clean food, the fresh fruits and veggies in super market are poisons, loaded with chemicals and we eat that. That's why you hear of someone passing but was 100% healthy, no junk, no liquor no smoking or nothing, just a healthy life style and they die of cancer..
I quit weed and tobacco (smoke spliffs) very hard. Also very strict diet. Takes a lot of discipline.
Any tips for stopping alcohol
