4:14 When you see The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure being 35 minutes, you know it's packed.
For sure! My gauge is usually 15 minutes max to consider riding that ride. I’ve done 20 before I think. But 25 is usually the upper limit. 35 is insane for that attraction.
Guardians is #1 for me by a mile. I rope drop and go on it 3-4 times. Because of the re-theming its way more intense AND FUN than the Orlando or Tokyo versions, both of which Ive been on. Im 42 so the Twilight Zone theme doesn't have any sentimental connection for me.
I'm not a fan of the Twilight Zone theming either. I definitely prefer Guardians.
Now you have to combine both lists into one ultimate list!
I definitely agree with the placements of most of the rides. numbers 1 & 2 definitely are interchangeable. Soarin' would probably make my top 3, if it isn't my number 1.
😅 Maybe a Top 20? Including all 50+ rides would be an INSANE amount of work (these videos take a lot of time to produce for whatever reason).
It's funny for me. I am kinda a scardy cat but mission breakout just on the theme and the soundtrack... I adore it! I even got a t-shirt on my last trip. Love that ride so much
The soundtracks are fantastic! Amy doesn't like the bobbing motion during the video sequences. She tolerated Tower of Terror, but can't handle Guardians.
We saw you guys at Disney California Adventure yesterday! You guys were walking to the Soarin’ California Attraction talking about how the rides keep closing down when our family saw you. Were a big help for our trip to Disneyland and DCA. We sadly though couldn’t say hello, since you guys were getting in line for Soarin’.
Ah yes! We were filming a rope drop video and mentioning that because Radiator Springs Racers was closed, it was making the rest of the park very busy!
That video is posting today, so you MIGHT see yourself in it depending on where you guys were in physical relation to me when I was filming that segment. 😂

Awesome! Do you have a video for this same thing but for disneyland? I found your video on Disneyland rides 2023 ultimate guide but curious on ranking. I'm taking my kids 12 and 15 in June all of us first timers lol! Your videos are sooo helpful

I enjoy the rides there well enough. Some of the pier rides are lackluster, sure. But I love all the themed attractions from Grizzly clockwise through Incredicoaster. It’s mostly just from the Carousel through Golden Zephyr I find enjoy “less”
@@SoCalDisneyDad I’m sure I will enjoy the DCA video. I like DCA, and I agree with you, the themed rides are great. Radiator Springs is probably my favorite ride in all of the DLR, but too many in DCA are just off the shelf standard spinning rides with a paint scheme slapped on them. I’m not really much of a ride person anyway, so it’s not a huge loss for me. I can always go to Knott’s if I need a thrill junky fix. 😉

Your vids are the best, Socal Disney Dad. Watched a few of them before going to DCA this year. Will have to slightly disagree with the ranking, Guardians is definitely #1 for me, loved it so much! Thanks again!
It is a fantastic ride for sure! It’s so hard to put a number of the ones at the top.
Facts, radiator springs racers is definitely a top tier ride! And I can agree with most of the other ratings.
It’s one of the best in the whole of the Disneyland Resort for sure.
I went on it twice between my 2 days at California adventure in my America holiday!

This is super helpful as we are currently planning a trip out there! How does the single rider lines work? We are a family of 3 and always curious if this would help us out. Again, thank you!
You need to all be older than 7 years and your party will be split up.
Basically if there’s 3 spots in a row, and only two people are in a party, they’ll fill the remaining seat with a single rider.
It moves A LOT faster than the standby line most of the time.
To give a good example, as a group of 5 we spent around 75 minutes waiting in the regular line on Saturday, and when we finally boarded a single rider joined us. She had spent less than 20 minutes in her line..

😂 I usually consider a variety of factors. And Incredicoaster is easier to get on (which, yes, means that Guardians is a more popular attraction), but I do rarely get to ride Guardians because of the line. So my personal opinion places it higher.

I did agree with most all of them. But I moved Maters Junkyard jamboree up, and Goofy's Sky School too. And Cars is # 1 for me. Since I can't ride Incredcoaster. That goes to the bottom with the spinning rides, Guardians too. You did a good job ranking. I really like Web Slingers. Go, Amy, I win every time, too.
She beat me REAL BAD today. 😂 Even James beat me. And I was legitimately playing! He beat me fair and square!
Hi! Been following your vlog and its been really helpful. We are from the Philippines and starting to plan our disneyland trip on July. We are going to rope drop. As it is early, are there any breakfast place you can recommend where we can grab a quick snack or bite sonwe can do this while waiting through security/rope drop?
There’s a McDonald’s just outside the main entrance gate off Harbor Blvd we’ve grabbed breakfast from before.
Alternatively, both the Candy Cane Inn and Best Western have free breakfast.
There’s also a Starbucks in Downtown Disney right near the park entrances that you can grab some breakfast foods.
If Earl of Sandwich is open for breakfast (not sure that it is?) that’s also right there.

Top 4 tracks with me …. We didn’t like guardians (mr 8 who loved every other thrill ride in the parks really didn’t like it) so maybe swap it with web slingers for me.
Interestingly miss 5 would go Soarin, Midway then jellyfish - otherwise it was a hard pass for her.
Maters is so underrated
Soaring, Philarmonic, Pal around all good for resting rides.
I agree with the top 5 mostly, would just put toy story behind soarin and guardians
Not a fan of Slingers, and very disappointed in the change from Twilight Tower of Terror to Galaxy. Radiator Springs is my favorite along with Grizzly Run and Incredicoaster although I preferred the former name, California Screamin. Also enjoyed former Soarin over California, but thumbs down for Soarin over the world.
Mater, carousel, whirlwind lower than Goofys? My goodness.
I hated goofys, hurt my back and I’m only 5’5. Child size seats and my back hurt the whole day from whiplash. Never again

On what days you usually go weekend or weekdays?
Generally we go on weekends but that’s because of kids having school. If I go myself, I go Tuesdays.
My top five in DCA would be:
5. Incredicoaster, a decent ride, but not enough theming or thrilling elements for it to stack up against other e-ticket rides in the park. Plus, the loop is too rough and always gives me a headache.
4. Soarin, a fantastic simulator and innovative for the time, however, other flying theater simulators in non Disney parks are better than this one
3. Grizzly river run, a decent, well themed raft ride in need of animatronics
2. GOTG, the best drop-tower type ride I’ve ever ridden
1. Radiator Springs, one of the greatest attractions I’ve ever been on, with consistent theming, fluid animatronics, thrilling elements, and scenic views
Radiator IS amazing. I just wish we could ride it more without killing half our day or breaking the bank. 😂
Two more years for Benjamin and we can all single rider!

Goofy Sky School is my fav ride in California Adventure because of the single rider's line. It’s a short, fun thrill ride and doesn’t have a long wait!
I got concerned when I saw 18+… but I get it now 😅
I didn’t even think about that!!! I changed it to just 19.
There’s really only 18 rides in the park and I didn’t want to confuse anyone by saying “19”, but I also don’t want to confuse “18+” with “adult”
I just changed it to say 19 and hope no one complains 😂

Why in the world why two flat rides be in the top five
for the most part, agreed but IncrediCoaster is killed by the restraints for me so cars in on top.
I MUCH prefer shoulder restraints to lap bars. I feel way more secure. Or do you mean like shoulder restraints more like Emperor would be more comfortable?
@@SoCalDisneyDad Ya I mean the should restraints that are softer like Emperor because I hate the head banging that I get on it but lap pars would be crazy for that ride

😂😂 I much prefer PhilharMagic, personally. I LOVE the music. Love, love, love it. Monsters is fun, but it's over too soon and the line is atrocious since they added Lightning Lane.
Fun Wheel, I'll give you. I would have placed it a lot higher. But this was a family effort as I asked my wife and kids to help rank them. And two members of my family HATE the fun wheel.
