Love every ride in Disneyland. Have traveled to Disneyland at least once every year. My favorite is Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Monorail, Pirates of the Caribbean, Thunder Mountain Railroad. Not a Star Wars fan and I still can't get the song from "It's a Small World" out of my head since I was 13. I'm currently, 74.
I'm so glad I found your channel. I like how you get right to the point on all your videos and you provide good reasons to support your recommendations. We're getting ready for our first ever trip to Disneyland so all your tips are highly appreciated.
I am a WDW veteran coming to Disneyland for the first time since I was under the age of 5. I'm so glad I found your videos, really have been helpful in my planning!
I agree with the list, Matterhorn was actually the first tubular steel track roller coaster, if you like space mountain in Orlando and California, you have to experience the one in Paris, is the best!
On our family’s last Disneyland trip we rode all but 8 of these rides (3 were being refurbished, 2 we opted to ride similar rides instead since it was cold every time we thought about riding them, and 3 are just big time sucks that we generally skip anyway). I personally would rank Star Tours and the Millennium Falcon rides higher than Astro Blasters and wouldn’t rank the Jungle Cruise so high, but your explanations were just and your comments about each attraction were very accurate. What’s great about Disneyland is that it really tries to have a little something for everyone of all ages and thrill level. The rankings just depend on what you and your family enjoy and how much time your want to invest spending on them to make them enjoyable. A lot of rides are entertaining, some are nice filler attractions when lines are long elsewhere and/or you are in between getting on your next Lighting Lane Reservation, and others are just nice breaks for the feet!
Astro Blasters is just more universally enjoyed by my family. Star Tours makes Amy sick, and my boys aren’t quite old enough for Smuggler’s. I constantly have to not only pilot, but press Benjamin’s shooting button behind me because he doesn’t really do it or can’t reach it well. James usually flies us into walls and then we have no engineers either. 😂 They almost never put anyone else with us.
Definitely makes a big difference in an experience when it is not enjoyable for the whole family. My daughter has been going to various amusement parks since the age of 2 and is now almost tall enough for any thrill ride (with exception to a couple at Universal Studios), but is still young enough to also like the classic dark ride or slower moving attractions too. Thankfully none of us have any issues with motion sickness either.
I have watched quite a few videos on your channel, and they have been very helpful so far. I know that I need to wait another year to take my daughter to Lego Land thanks to your detailed videos. But my dude! you put all of my kiddo's favorites and therefore my favorite rides at the bottom of the list! I think the ranking here is very subjective! I still love your content, keep it up!
Re-watching this to start ramping up my excitement for my fam’s annual DL trip in June. Would love an updated ranking list to see what has changed for you over the past year 😊
Hi Trev what’s going brotha thank you for the video really like yourself and Amy with the reviews and the tier lists keep it man, just subbed appreciate it man!
My family hasn’t been to Disneyland since 2018 so we are super excited to go see all the new rides and refurbs that have happened since then! I’ll see if I agree with your list after we are there April 23rd and 24th!! 🎉
Being fro SoCal I was pretty much done with Disneyland after 2011, I had done it all countless times and was happy enough to let everyone else get their fill. But when Galaxy's Edge opened and the Millennium Falcon was brought to life, I was hooked again. Every time I see it Its like the first time. Seeing the Falcon is like a beautiful sunset or a baby's smile, it wont ever cease to be amazing.
I'll agree with you for Jungle Cruise on #3, but to be fair it's probably more of a childhood/personal bias for me since I LOVED this ride as a kid LMFAO!
I agree with most of your list... My Top 5: 1.- Space Mountain Ride 2.- Star Wars Rise of the Resistance 3.- Mickey & Minnies Runaway Railroad 4.- Big Thunder Train 5.- Pirates of the Caribean
I agree these new rides are messing with favorites list so much because they are designed soooo well! If I could rank all the rides #1 I would. Except for Astro blasters I personally don’t like that ride maybe because I sux at it. lol
Great list, my personal top 5 rides are 1. big thunder mountain 2. Space mountain 3. Splash mountain 4. Minnie mouse runaway railroad 5. Millennium Falcon
I plan to, yes. Should be in the next two weeks or so. Probably after Spring Break because we are going out of town for a bit and those videos take longer to make.
i did my top 20 disneyland and california adventure rides combined ranked!!!!!! ill give u my top 5 (just disneyland right now)!!!!!! 1 rise of the resistance 2 pirates of the caribbean 3 haunted mansion 4 space mountain 5 matterhorn
Awesome video - so full of content and efficient! I agree with most rankings except jungle cruise 😂 - and the repetitive small world music destroys me so that’s my rock bottom!
😂 Fair enough. I find it to be a classic attraction that I really don’t mind. I love all the Disney characters in ours. The one is WDW is lame by comparison.
@@SoCalDisneyDad totally agree - small world is in my sister’s top 5! When I get a multi experience pass - I use it on Jungle Cruise to skip the long lines they sometimes get.
They are both about the same distance away. There is handicapped parking available at both lots. Then you take the tram or the bus to the park. We prefer Mickey and Friends parking structure over the Toy Story Lot.
@@SoCalDisneyDad ok awesome that’s what we did I wish it was more like universal haha … thanx bro! Are u going to be here today ? U one of the TH-camrs that cover Disney I wanna meet n say what’s up too Aha ..
Hey a lil summin u might wanna throw out to your viewers if u have the DAS pass disabled pass on your app one it’s free and two it’s faster than lighting. BD also it works in all rides Star Wars rides mickies runaway rail way and we’ll the ones that lighting don’t … for the viewers that have a disability and going with folks works for them too… just experienced this yesterday so thought I’d share .. would make for a good video with people with kids with autism or any disability or adults also … one love!
I kinda agreed with most of them. Indiana Jones is # 1 for me, then Rise, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan, and # 7 is the Railroad. I love when you do the ranking of rides.
railroad is a top 10 because you can stay on the ride and not get off 😂. just keep going in circles lol. 2 rounds kills almost an hour when my kid takes his nap.
Winnie the pooh gets 50 or 1 hour waits in magic kingdom but i think it’s because its in view of people and over there in disney land is all the way back at the park
My top 3: 1. Space Mountain 2. Matterhorn 3. Indiana Jones Adventure Least favorite is without question It's a Small World. I rode it a few years ago as a favor for a friend but listened to music on my phone to block out that annoying jingle.
😂🤣 It’s not so bad when that jingle keeps your kids calm or asleep. It’s grown on me over the years, but a few years ago I thought the same thing. Like, avoid at all costs. 😂 Ours is better than WDW since at least we have Disney characters to find like a little scavenger hunt.
@@SoCalDisneyDad I think the only time I'd ride IASW is if I'm walking by it (rarity. Usually I start at Star Tours and circle around the park. Once I complete Matterhorn, I'm either off to Snow White or Pinocchio or Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge) and the temperature is in triple digits. Their A/C unit is definitely strong.
This video was very helpful and absolutely love peter pan but man it gets so long all the time lol. For the smugglers run you got to make sure you have the right person being the pilot becasue it can be a really painful experience🤣 but other than that its a really cool ride.
For sure! We usually do a lot of hitting things when we ride it because at least one adult needs to sit in the same row as our youngest, which means my oldest is the other pilot with me.
What???!!! Astro Orbiter above Carousel? Above the Monorail? Nemo above….Anything? Winnie the Pooh not in top ten? Autopia above Nemo and anything? Railroad not number one? Peter Pan above Mr Toad? Smuggler’s Run above Monorail? Indiana Jones in top ten? Space Mountain above Small World? Hey, good list. Mine would be different.
I can see the case for many of these, but I don’t think there’d be any way for me to fit Winnie or the Railroad in my own personal top 10. But I do enjoy ALL Disneyland rides.
Autopia is hands down the WORST “ride” at Disneyland. Not much “tomorrow” about it. Worse than bumper cars because you’re not allowed the bump the car in front of you. Also as a kid, I remember it being so hard to push the gas pedal. They really need to get rid of it.
🤷🏻♂️ It’s an enjoyable attraction to my kids. And if they’re having fun, so am I. We like Autopia better than Tomorrowland Speedway in Disney World. They’ve also updated the attraction in the last few years if it’s been awhile since you’ve been on it.

Space mountain
Pirates of the Caribbean
Star tours
