I love a lot of Disneyland TH-camrs. What I love about this channel is you do everything with your family which gives families a real idea of what it would be like to do these things with our kids and family. Keep it up!

I’m glad other people were bothered by this too. 😅 I was nearly at the front of the rope drop line, but still waited 35 minutes because people kept running past us instead of staying in line behind the obvious group all going the same place.
Awesome to see all the rides. 😃I`m looking so much forward to my vacation to the US and California in late August. It`s been many years since I was in Disneyland, so I`m sure there`s lots of new fun things. How do you think the crowds will be at the end of August? We are planning a whole day in California Adventure and a whole day in Disneyland. We always stay at the park from opening time until closing time. Thanks for a great video. 👍🏼😃
Such a sweet and authentic family! You deliver the important info needed for efficiently riding a ton of rides. We have had two awesome trips using your expert knowledge! Thank you tons from our family to yours!
I discovered this Channel around a week ago, and I’ve watched almost every video you’ve made. I’m going to Disneyland in May for Star Wars nite and I’m so excited! Keep up the great work and I’d love to support the channel
This was a very entertaining vlog. I'm starting to like DCA more and more. And very easy for me to do it in a day. Specially since I can't ride all the rides. I'm getting excited for your Disneyworld trip.
When we went to Disneyland 4 months ago we saw so many people go off to the side of Peter Pan and get in with their multiple experience pass even though it wasn’t listed as a MEP option. It made our wait 30 minutes longer than the posted 50. Hoping now they actually don’t allow them through!
It was probably DAS. Not MEP. Because a cast member wouldn’t likely scan an MEP. But there are a LOT of DAS users for Peter Pan because it’s so popular.
Green shirts... that means you were at DCA the exact same day I spent my birthday at Disneyland! 😮 Wish I could've known you were at the other park before this hahaha 😅
Thanks for posting very helpful videos. We are heading to the parks the beginning of July. This is a once in a lifetime trip so appreciative of the helpful tips to navigate the parks. 🇨🇦
Nice! You guys have so much energy - we can’t last that long! We book Toy Story LL for 8am and often end up with multi experience. I’m guessing that ride is down more at 8am than other rides but I’m not sure?
I would love to hear some kid perspective. I’m taking three kiddos this winter and it’d be great to make any adjustments to make it a better experience for them.
What questions do you have? I can ask the kids. They don’t necessarily like to be on camera answering questions. All I usually get is “good!” 🤣 But I can ask them off camera and report back.
Always interesting seeing the use of the individual experience passes. Especially interesting you can use on Luigi’s. I really enjoy the spin up high on dumbo but totally can’t handle the tea cups so not sure which of the DCA rides I’ll be ok with? Since we can’t handle the roller coasters we have limited rides for rope drop and after seeing this video we are now debating starting at either Luigi’s and single rider at radiator racers at cars land or Toy Story and the non swinging cars at Pixar pier. Thanks for all the helpful info.
If you ordered genie+ online as well as your disney ticket - on the app when can you use the genie+ thing and what would u need to do if it does not show up on app?
It’ll be attached to your ticket if you pre-purchased with your ticket. So it should already be active when you go to use it. Talk to guest services if it’s not, but I’ve never heard anyone having issues with this. You can’t use it until you’ve scanned into the park for the first time for the day. Once you pass through those turnstiles, it’ll be active the rest of the day, even if you leave and go back to the hotel. But you can’t have a lazy morning and just book stuff for later in the afternoon at Disneyland. Because you can’t start getting lightning lanes until you’ve scanned in, and if you’ve scanned in, you might as well just go into the park. Every party member needs to be scanned in. One person can’t do it for everyone. So you can’t even designate a single person to get ready and go to the park. Everyone has to go.
Thank you! They’re a bit more time intensive, so I can’t do them as often since I usually need to film multiple videos in a single visit. But I’m open to suggestions if you have other challenges you’d like us to do!
Hi, question, we will be in Disneyland on june2-6, I know June 5 is a granite, so avoid DCA on that day for sure, is that correct thing to do? thank you!
Yes! Avoid DCA on grad nites because they get access all day. It’s not like normal after hours events where the mix in is just 3 hours before. The Grad Nite tickets have an upgrade option that for like $10 extra they can go to the park all day. So DCA will be overrun with 18 year olds.
Thank you!! We’d love a dog, but it doesn’t fit our lifestyle. 😅 We do have two cats, though. But they practically mind themselves all day when we are gone about once a week. Enjoy your new doggo!
5:28 theres no way that person looked at the outside of gotg and went indoors and saw the lifts and didnt realise til the last minute that it was tot. People are not bright. One of my old school friends asked me is gotg the same as florida, in response to my picture of the California ride. Like if you have ridden floridas surely you can see its a definitely not a rollercoaster lol
Great video again. Was on the edge of my seat to see if you would complete your challenge 😂. Would there be a situation where you would purchase ILL for Radiator? We will only be be at DCA for 1 day our trip.
You could. We just chose not to. We didn’t do Mickey’s Philharmagic or anything else non-ride related at the park, which you might want to do, so saving time with the ILL might be helpful.
I usually save my genie plus for later in a day but the way you navigated it, I think I’m going to try it that way especially since I’ll have a park hopper
Our goal is usually to use every lightning lane we can. To get our money’s worth. So that’s why we start early and try to pound them out as fast as possible.

You should have tried to get a Multi-Experience Pass at Toy Story Midway Mania between 8am and 8:35am when it was broken. Then you would have been able to accelerate that 10:30pm Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway LL and use it immediately. Have you ever tried to Accelerate Lightning Lanes with a Gold Tier multi-experience pass? It's incredible.
She wishes she knew. 😂 Any time I ask her, she says she "just shoots" and I'm like "so do I, yet I still lose" 😂 I have noticed that she beats me to all the higher point spiders by milliseconds. So she must just have faster reaction times than me.
Great video. Thank you! I'll be there at DCA on a Friday with Genie+ in 2 weeks. Should I utilize a strategy like this one or should I knock out Pixar Pier right away and do Genie+ ones later? Maybe rope drop RSR first and then head over to the pier? It's a DCA early entry day when I'm there but I'm not staying on property.
You’ll likely experience a day similar to this if you start at RSR. But unless you can single rider it, it’s really the only option for not having to wait 60+ minutes. Pixar Pier is a better rope drop location all around, but that also supposes Toy Story is open right away, which it is not about half the time.
I know this is a daft question, but since i have never been to Disneyland i dont feel too daft. What do you mean by Standby? does that just mean you stand in the line for the wait time listed?
Correct yes. They have two lines. One is called the Standby Lane, and it’s just the regular line. And then they have a Lightning Lane, which is a paid line through the Genie+ service that is significantly shorter.
My friend and I are planning on going early april. Would you suggest we single rider a lot of the busy rides to get more rides in a day? we will also have genie plus but we cannot rope drop DCA. We will however rope drop DLP.
If you’ve only got one day and you’re trying to maximize your time, yes, single rider the rides that have single rider. It’ll cut the wait by at least 50-70% if not more depending on the ride.
Very well. You can take them on every attraction without issue. They just sit at your feet. The centrifugal force keeps them safe, but for the paranoid like me, I usually slip my leg through a shoulder strap. But I’ve never had an issues or close calls. They are safe. Disney wouldn’t allow them on the rides if they were at risk of falling out.
Are you going to do a vid on Critter Country/Winnie the Pooh/Pooh Corner closing? If so, can you find out where one can buy a Tigger Tail & meet Pooh characters this summer since it’s all going to be shut down? My 2 1/2 yr old daughter is in love w/Pooh & the ride & will be devastated when I break the news that it will all be shut down when we make our once a year trip in mid June. 😢😢😢
It’ll be in Construction Updates, but at the moment, info is so sparse. We don’t even know how long it’ll be closed. It’s just a quick retheme of existing areas. I mean, I don’t want to get your hopes up prematurely, but I’d be surprised if this takes longer than a month. They’re basically slapping a new name on a building that already exists.
That would be really wonderful news if it end up taking a month or less! I feel so bad for all the little ones headed to the park in May+ that want to see Pooh.
@@benmonroe_the_1 There’s no guarantees of course. News is sparse. But I’m hopeful at this point that it’s just a very temporary thing as they make a few design changes inside for theming purposes.
I have a question about genie+ that I have not heard mentioned in any of the videos yet. When you have genie+ for 4 people on the same account, do you have to book a genie+ ride 4 different times (one for each person), or do you do it once and it is good for all 4 people?
I love your videos! I am going to propose to my GF at Disneyland! Any recommendations of a place/area within Disneyland where it’s not super packed? I will be there 4/27
The classic spot is in front of the castle. And at different times of the day it’s not too busy. Earlier in the morning for one. The other couple of good spots are at the entrance to Main Street USA looking toward the castle. And the entrance to Disneyland itself, with the railroad station behind and the flower display below it. There are cast members at all three locations (usually a bit later, though, like after 10 AM), and if you play it up like you want a photo with them, then pop the question while they are shooting and you’ll also get some professional photos of the experience. If you are looking for a more private setting, then any of the table service restaurants would probably afford that.
They’ll never do that of course. It’s just the nature of Disney. It’s why going during a time like Spring Break does have its advantages. Because there are no rides closed except the extended refurb rides. None are down for regular maintenance.
Not related to the topic but how do you guys avoid getting sick going so much? We came home sick 2.5 weeks ago and are still sick. lol we leave to go again in 19 days
Amy and the kids? I have no idea, because they haven't even picked up sicknesses at school this year, which they usually do. For me, I hardly ever get sick. The last time I was sick was September 2021 when I got Covid. And before that it was the flu in February 2019. And those are the only two times I've gotten sick in the last 5 years.
Nope. Nope, nope. 😂 I could barely get 90% in a single park when we did Disneyland. No way we can ride 40 rides in one day. 27 was the best we could accomplish and we pushed HARD. Harder than any normal person would be comfortable with.
It’s single rider, for all intents and purposes, but for 2 people instead of 1. You have to ask the cast member at the front of the attraction for a paper pass that allows you to go through the exit.
It’s essentially single rider but for two people. You have to ask the cast member about it at the front of the attraction. Monsters Inc and Winnie the Pooh are the only two rides that have this feature.
There’s a difference between Splash Mountain wet and Grizzly River wet. We only ride Grizzly River when we have a hotel to return to because you get soak through ALL layers. Living 90 minutes away, we were not carting a full change of clothes for 4 people around the park.
Not selfish. It’s strategy. Grizzly River Run was like a 10 minute wait standby and the lightning lanes were available immediately. Absolutely no one missed out on riding Grizzly River because I took a lightning lane. There were plenty to go around. I would never do anything if I felt a family on their first ever visit would miss out because of something I did.
I love a lot of Disneyland TH-camrs. What I love about this channel is you do everything with your family which gives families a real idea of what it would be like to do these things with our kids and family. Keep it up!

No way we can ride 40 rides in one day. 27 was the best we could accomplish and we pushed HARD. Harder than any normal person would be comfortable with.
What is a “buddy pass”?
You mentioned it on Monsters Inc.
It’s single rider, for all intents and purposes, but for 2 people instead of 1. You have to ask the cast member at the front of the attraction for a paper pass that allows you to go through the exit.
Never knew that in all my years I’ve been there! That’s a game changer. Thank you for all your videos and information. We appreciate your family!
Are there any other attractions in the resort that do the buddy pass? 😊
@@beckyg5220 Winnie the Pooh also does it.
Thank you so much. I appreciate you
You can hit all rides at DCA nearly 3 times in a single day with no issues
I wouldn’t go that far. 😅 But it’s definitely an easier go.
Yeah right. "No issues?" I sincerely doubt that and I guarantee you've never done it.
What’s a buddy pass?
It’s essentially single rider but for two people. You have to ask the cast member about it at the front of the attraction.
Monsters Inc and Winnie the Pooh are the only two rides that have this feature.
@@SoCalDisneyDad thank you! I have been to Disneyland so many times and had no idea this existed 😂
Come on. If you are going to do the full park Challenge, commit to it, don't skip rides because you'll get wet!!
There’s a difference between Splash Mountain wet and Grizzly River wet.
We only ride Grizzly River when we have a hotel to return to because you get soak through ALL layers.
Living 90 minutes away, we were not carting a full change of clothes for 4 people around the park.
It is so cold to be wet after grizzly river. We did that in September when it was crazy hot and we were still cold for a good two or three hours
where's the hot dog video.
Coming Monday.
I always cut the line and pretend my mom is in the front.
Booking a LL that you’re not intending to use is really selfish. I was enjoying this video until then. 👎
