Nice 👍 another great species to shine the spotlight on 🙌 it’s hard to top an all black snake. Indigo’s are another awesome black species but out of all the black species my absolute favorite is the black rat snake. Well keep up the great work bud wish you all the best 🙋♂️✌️
They are very cool and I would like to ask whats the chances of them canabilising eachother I've heard in some casee breeding them can be very tricky but it looks like your locks went well🎉
If you cycle them cold enough and feed them well enough when you heat them back up it reduces fhe chances for it to happen. But with mbk the chances are always still there
Thanks for sharing! I have a mature female and have considered trying to breed with her. A lot of my concerns are their aggressiveness, which you acknowledged. My question is, we have fed her small snakes before, will that affect the breeding process since she has eaten snakes before?
You will notice a emaculate diffirence in vertility a varied diet is a great thing! However it wount necessarily mean your female will chomp your male because of that. First hour observation is crucial to see what their response towards each other is going to be
Hello . I will try to breed first time. I wanted to ask, how long should i keep them together to breed? One hour and then separate them? Is this process happening once or should i put them back together multiple times? Thank you
hi there , i usually put them together witness copulation and then seperate for a few days . but you can introduce and if there is no violence leave them together for 3 days .seperate and feed ,keep seperate for 4 days amd them re introduce .you can repeat this process untill your confident she is gravid
Let's grow brother
The bite marks on the female are insane, what a scary SP to breed!

I would assume the same methods would work
