How did you make the holes in the storage tub?
Soldering iron or a drill, works like a charm
Hey man! Any tips on how to make a cheap, effective diy incubator for corn snakes, possibly ball pythons too. I want to learn to breed next year. I remember when I was a teenager my dad and I bought a breeding set of bearded dragons, the incubator that came with them used a fish tank heater, it didn’t have a thermostat or anything but worked effectively, wondering how to recreate it as I have many fish tank heaters 😂 Thanks in advance from a fellow South African reptile lover.
@@justkeagzz7083 you can use a old Styrofoam box. All you need is a heat pad, thermostat and your sorted
@@justkeagzz7083 that method of incubation is old but still one of the best ways to incubate. Fish tank, water In bottom. Fish tank heater and the tubs above water level in vermiculite mixture. Very very good method. Just not practical for large scale breeding
More like guessing, I’d guess 40 lol
This video the REAL DEAL. I was wondering if the Golden Lancehead would be included. It is in the montage.
Hello . I will try to breed first time. I wanted to ask, how long should i keep them together to breed? One hour and then separate them? Is this process happening once or should i put them back together multiple times? Thank you
hi there , i usually put them together witness copulation and then seperate for a few days . but you can introduce and if there is no violence leave them together for 3 days .seperate and feed ,keep seperate for 4 days amd them re introduce .you can repeat this process untill your confident she is gravid
👍👍
Nice use of space in those tubs
👍👍
What is the ball python cage background made of, looks like the hydrolock people in the US are using ???

Awesome I want to keep some species of venemous snakes when I’m older I’m only fifteen and California doesn’t allow none zoos to keep venemous snakes or crocodilians so I may move to Texas or another state to do so
That's awesome! You got a long time to learn, that's how I felt about it when I was your age. You'll have to let me know where you end up!
Adorable
Do corn snakes bite hurt ?
no they do bite ,but its of no severe pain usually a bigger fright then anything else
Man your collection is unbelievable 🤯🤯 love all the setups too
Thank you! I'm happy you liked them!
Corn snakes are rat snakes, and idc how easy sand boas are, pets that spend 99%of the time underground just ain’t for me
Totally understandable! Not everyone's into snakes that spend so much time underground. however they are incredibly easy to keep
That’s not what that means. That means she dosent want to breed but the male does so the male is mad
Thats he looking godzilla or spinosasurs
How big is she?
@@PatrickPedersen-r8b she's I big girl I haven't weighed or measured her but if have to geuss she's touching base on the 2.7m mark
Nahhh
That was one was a violation😂😂
@@farmingwithmuscovys haha I had a little laugh when I made it
Thanks for sharing! I have a mature female and have considered trying to breed with her. A lot of my concerns are their aggressiveness, which you acknowledged. My question is, we have fed her small snakes before, will that affect the breeding process since she has eaten snakes before?
You will notice a emaculate diffirence in vertility a varied diet is a great thing! However it wount necessarily mean your female will chomp your male because of that. First hour observation is crucial to see what their response towards each other is going to be
Hi bro 👋 its me again 😊 How should i do, if i want to use a male to serve few female ?
@@martinyong4153 hey man welcome back! So after you had your snakes hibernate they will start eating again and go through a shedding cycle. Ones they shed you introduce them usually best to take the male to the female then vice verse. Once together observe and make sure there is no aggressive behavior if you have no aggressive behavior you'll see the male jirking on the female and before you know it your first lock
@@Undisputedreptiles I saw them first lock 👍 when should I take out the male after they unlock ? Or I should i let him together with female up to a week ? And when can I put him to serve another female ?
Do you sell scaleless corns
Hey man! We dont have atm but I can help you get send me a email on eckhardvdw@gmail.com
What are you feeding them ? It doesn't look like rats 😅
These where Guinea pigs.
This is my first time breeding snakes in general and my snake is 3ft but she is 2 years old and she weighs about 208 grams any tips 😅
I'd give her another year females are better at 3 years old
Sorry for posting, but did you just call a charcoal a "melanistic-B"??
Bit of a mix up on my end. Videos can be quite flustering to keep track. It's ment to be anery B. No need for apologizing on the enquiry.
I wouldn't recommend a Kenyan sand boa because if I could only have one snake I'd want to be able to see it
Interesting perspective! With that in mind I wouldn't do Kenyan sand boas either. How ever the rest of the list should cover for that
Congrats guys!
Thank you
Definitely have a hognose before a ball python.
Some bites have shown to be quite severe. Don't know if that's the best of ideas for someone who doesn't know how to dodge a bite yet
@@Undisputedreptiles Hoggies are puppies 😍. I've had both, and balls can be absolute buggers to start feeding. Plus, how can you resist that cute little Hoggy nose 🤣?
@@darrenleelayton6052 hoggies are cute 100% agree but ours seem to not be able to see the diffirence between our fingers then food
Your geckos are so gorgeous!
Thank you so much
Can you describe how you sex them? In this video you looked at the tail quickly and told it‘s a male. What‘s the feature?
Hey Tim. Tail lengths Is a dead give away. Long narrow tapered tails are the boys and shorter tails are girls. When you see a whole group together it's easy to distinguishing between genders. We recently had a live video of our female giving birth where we show a example of how we look at it. However it's not conclusive there is room for error.
@@Undisputedreptiles thank you so much mate. I‘m a experienced breeder. But for me it’s absolutely hard so see the difference at Trimeresurus. Currently I have a clutch of 10 blue insularis for sale but struggle with the genders lol Normally I pop the babys but the little Trims are way to fragile in my opinion.
@@timshady5623 100% they are super fragile when babies, if you want you can send me some pics on insta and I can give it a go
You should make a video on corn snake Genetics
Awesome suggestion! I'll look into doing that!
Hi I mean no zero disrespect here, and i hope you take this as critisism and not condemnation, but i have watched 90 % of your video's, and me who has only been doing this for around 5 years, starting in the States before coming to South Africa, know more about corn snake genetics than gets posted here. I wouldn't suggest this in any way, shape or form, some of the terminolgy used here is very confusing, and i know flustering to keep track ( your words, not mine) ( Melanistic-B and Ultra Amel (aka ultraMEL). yes! The videos are sometimes fun to watch, but are no way edicational, or informative in my personal opinion. The fact that you need to resort to online platforms to ask for assistance to ID some corns ,reasures me of this comment . I also recall having a discussion on one of the whatsapp groups about an snake that you labled as ghost tessera, which I informed you was not a tessera, but a motley facebook.com/groups/556731548897403/?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=1232946577942560 i would rather read up and learn a bit more before opening this can of worms
at first I was upset that you live fed your snake a rattlesnake but that's just a super lucky king snake that you fed an ethically sourced dead rattler. Very cool video, and super lucky captive king Snake.
King snake have ability to eat baby rattlesnake they have no reaction to the venomous
Hi man! Haha yeah no live feeding here by me. In rsa it's actually illegal to feed life prey to our snakes. But yes. I try to diverse all my animal diets as close to what's natural as possible
That's 100% correct! I'd think the only snake that could potentially rival King snakes prowelness would be the musurana. Venom just does nothing to these snakes haha
The sponge trick is definitely something I’m gonna try. I have 8 baby sidewinders I need to force feed and was wondering how I was going to go about it all without taking a bite lol. Thanks for posting this man.
Heyyy man! Amazing I'm happy I could help and congrats on the side winder babies! They take super easy tho. I had a new born that was assisted about 2-3 times. After that they where making day old pinkies
@@Undisputedreptiles that’s good to know, it was a pain to force feed those little guys. Sponge trick worked with 4 of them but the other 4 gave me too much trouble so I ended up just grabbing them behind the head and hoped for the best lol. But all 8 are fed now and hopefully will start growing big enough to take pinkies. Thanks again brotha!
awsome dragon
They are too legit!
Get a Inland Taipan , there so docile ,cushy and lovable.
@@Ray-vq2jc yeah and all you need to control them is two fingers and a water bowl *DISCLOSURE*:everyone reading this, this is abit of a running joke with the recent taipan bite. Please DO NOT GET A TAIPAN as a first venomous.... Actually best not get a taipan at all...

Wow realy nice collection 😊
Thanks so much! I appreciate that
You’re going viral alright; for the wrong reasons. Moron lmao 🤣
Can’t believe boas aren’t on this list.
They're a little to big for a first time snake in my opinion. That's why I didn't put them on
Very cool
Thanks man, really appreciate it
Its natural looks like a literal slice of nature cut out like a cake and served to your setup.
Thank you so much! I appreciate that
@@Undisputedreptiles keep doing you I shared it to all my buddy’s
It’s awesome good job
Corn snake and rat snake should be 1 after the other because Corn snakes are red rat snakes
They are essentially in the same family group pantheropis but I feel giving them seperate spots on this video is right. Since Texans get significantly larger then average corns and can be a tad bit more spicy
why do you have so many together?
@@oceaneggo this is our breeding trip so 3 snakes all together. It looks clustered but the enclosure is a whopping 3m deep and 1.5m wide
Can you do a video on how to properly handle them with equipment
@@carsonkay4344 sure that's something I can take a look at doing
I want a ball python so bad but they're illegal where i live. I mean so are pitbulls and I... know people who have those.
Wow... Where do you stay where these animals are banned? I'm sorry to hear that tho
You can easily get by a PitBull ban by simply stating you dont have a pitbull, you have an American Staffordshire Terrier
I have a albino lavender California kings an a albino peppermint motley corn that I’ve raised from baby’s
@@R3B3L-_-2 that's awesome!
If you in the United States get a false water cobra and if you don’t get bit after a year or two get a copperhead
We have falsies here in Rsa aswell just availability is so scarce
