I find it interesting that the new mob, the allay, looks suspiciously similar to the vex. And guess what? Allay ONLY spawn in prisons in the mansions and outposts. That is definitely there for a reason.
I find that really interesting for how it plays into the Minecraft Legends lore because [big spoiler alert]... the origins of both allays and illagers are explained in the game. Illagers were just villagers who wanted to take up the fight to defend the Overworld, but then that made them too aggressive at the end to go back to being peaceful villagers. Allays were just the little spirits the hosts used to help out the hero. This is really cool because it implies that the illagers know a lot about the hosts and are trying to kidnap their allays and use them as servants, corrupting them into vexes. How that process works I'm not sure, but it's just really interesting altogether.
I've been binging these episodes again. But maybe the lapis representation also indicates the use of souls. We commonly see souls represented as blue, and if we were to think about it, you'd reasonably need soul power to create something sentient. So maybe in this case, lapis represents souls and magic. Especially since now you can only find Alley in these mansions, you can imagine them sapping the soul energy from those cute little things. But hey.. that's just a theory
Theory: Evokers turn blue sheep red as an attempt to bar any other creature such as the player from replicating their experiments. No access to blue wool = no experiment. Also, the original way to make blue wool was from using lapis. Maybe the reason they can attempt these experiments is through the connection between the dye and magic?
Oh my gosh that is such an amazing theory and it fits so well. I never thought of the fact that blue dye is made specifically from lapis and that that makes blue dye magical. Because we know that lapis is specifically magical, not only because of enchanting but also because in Minecraft Legends it can be used for the express purpose of spawning mobs to help the player.
Its interesting how Evokers and Illusioners are the only ones with green eyes. Vindicators and Pillagers have blue eyes instead... interesting because the Villagers also have green eyes. Vindicators and Pillagers can't use any form of magic, yet _Villagers_ can trade enchantments books when they have the librarian job. I wonder if that's a coincidence or not...
Theory: If you didn’t know, Illager Outposts, most of the time, contain imprisoned Iron Golems. I think they fuse villagers and Iron Golems to create the Ravagers: Hence their strength, force, and resistance, similar to an Iron Golem. And due to the fact that Iron Golems and Illagers also have beef
@@pinktuIip I think it's possible as they could melt down the golems, and fuse them to the still living Villager. Using the Totem of Undying, they breath new life, but it could also be that there is some cow thrown in, which causes them to come back on all fours.
If we combine this theory with MatPat's then Ravenger= /Villager + /Iron Golem + Totem of Undying Why Totem, there's a chance of Evokers and Vindicators to spawn in Outpost
I just wanted to point out two things that may be relevant. 1: Illagers don’t attack baby villagers which means they must have SOME good morals. 2: During village raids witches appear sometimes.
I prefer to interpret point 1 as either good ol' child abduction to boost the number of cultists or as the illagers wanting to keep the village alive so that they can raid it again. Like cattle farming.
This makes me think about the zombies under the igloos. Maybe they first were exiled to the snowy biome and then relocated to the woods once they got sick of it and had enough other exiled villagers
Okay hear me out, totems of undying also have the villager nose with green eyes. What if the way they work is by transferring the life of an innocent villager into a totem and then transferring the life into another object.
It is so calming when you play your hardcore world and listen to these amazing theories about the game you are playing . Even better if the theory matches whatever you are doing at the moment
Maybe the “unspeakable activities” are uncrossing their arms. Hey game theory if you see this I have a theory of why villagers don’t use there hands (it really relates to value of emeralds)
Imagine if their experiments actually worked, like if there was a really rare chance of you spawning in a woodland mansion instead of the usual spawn areas
A theory that goes with this: What if the illagers actually succeeded in creating this "god" being, but it wasn't what they expected. Perhaps they created us, the player, the one who is the character in every single minecraft world. You mentioned in other theories that there was a civilization that was the "builders," and we could definitely be one of them. However, notice how our player has one ability that seems to be completely lacking in the builders. We can revive, no matter when and where we die. Such ability can be seen as godlike, perhaps artificial. Artificial like a power gained from being revived using a totem of undying through a ritual.
A point to add to this, is didn’t MatPat say in an earlier theory say that zombies come from the builders that came before? If so did the illagers find some builder body’s or skeletons and experimented on them creating the zombies and skeletons we find
He didn’t mention vex’s which are incorporeal beings that are summoned by evokes. Literally creating life, or potentially summoning dead people back to life in spirit form Which would indicate that Minecraft has an afterlife.
And don’t forget the vindicator (?) summons crocodile (?) things from the floor! (I think it’s the vindicator :/ might be something else I’m thinking of though)
@JustAnotherNobody or maybe those souls are the dead villagers and illagers that got turned into Vex. Implying that here reallys is an afterlife in Minecraft. I cant help but sense some aggression in your comment which is off putting and disrespectful.
New theory: The illagers don't have unibrows because they shave the middle part when performing the surgery that implants lapis lazuli into their skulls.
I know this doesn’t seem very possible but here’s a little theory: We all have noticed a few things differences in illagers and villagers. The two eyebrows and uncrossed hand can be explained easily with a pair of shears and a change in wardrobe, but the blue eyes and pale blue-ish skin don’t make much sense if they’re just exiled villagers. What If the use and over exposure of lapis lazuli caused their skin and eyes to become blue colored.
What if the wool is the byproduct of their secret rituals. Starts with blocks of lapis after the magic is drained out there is only these wool like blocks left?
That makes a lot of sense. i reckon if villagers used diamonds or gold to trade then their eyes would change to match. how? maybe there is some magical aspect or maybe villagers choose mates based on how much their eye colour resembles their currency
What if the Illagers attempt to recreate Steve leads to the creation of hero brine? I know it may seem impossible, but I still wanna see if this theory of mine could end up being part of the main lore of minecraft.
With all the research that goes into these videos, every “HEY BUT THATS JUST A THEORY” genuinely surprises me every time. I forget during the actual video that everything is just a theory because of all the reasoning, research and just how convincing it is.
This raises the implication that the Villagers are looking at Steve like "Don't give me that sass! I see your two separate eyebrows -- I know what state your mental health is in!"
It’s entirely possible that the Illigers /did/ make Steve. We don’t know where the player character came from in the games- perhaps the illigers were finally successful, but the player hasn’t been as subservient as their other creations
Here's a theory: What if at one point in time, the illagers actually SUCCEEDED in reviving a builder from the undead, because we're forgetting the most important person in minecraft: YOU I mean assuming that endermen are indeed evolved forms of builders, it would take a few thousand years of evolution to get to that state. It's not likely that some builders were able to survive the Wither in the overworld so MAYBE just MAAAYYBE, Steve and Alex are successful attempts of the Illagers in resurrecting the builders
I feel like the Mojang staff can just put something on Twitter like “what is this?” Matpat: They’re right, the illagers seem to be playing with life, the prisons seem to be capturing villagers, .... Jeb, Notch, and C418: mhm, got it, yes sure sounds good
That's always been my problem about theories... It's always seemed like the devs are watching theories and going "Yep... We intended that... Definitely!" or "Oooohhhhh... Almoooosst~ Not wrong but also not right~"
They might be trying to make Steve because he is the only being in this world to respawn, which might make them want to try to harness his power to allow them to respawn...
Hmm, interesting thought, I didn’t even think of that! Maybe the whole thing is fake, maybe the illagers are just running a simulation on there own created being and the end is just something they made, the wool structure just being a diagram/ original version of it.
"These are some of the rarest structures in the game" I used to play minecraft bedrock with my dad and we didn't use infinite worlds, we used old ones. Every. Single. World had a woodland mansion, this happened so much it became tradition for us to go looking, find the woodland mansion and renovate it to live in.
Herobrine: "in the game for some time then removed saying he was a bug but nobody actually knew if he was removed" Years later Illigers: trying to bring Herobrine back or back to life
I’m surprised he didn’t talk about the igloos. if you’ve ever been to the snow plains biome sometimes you can find these random igloos (I sometimes find them around the villages). If you look underneath the carpet sometimes you just find grass blocks but other times you can find a trap door. going down the trap door you can find two prison cells. One with a villager and one with a zombie villager. There’s also a brewing stand and a chest in the chest you can find a golden apple in the brewing stand you can find a potion of weakness. if you splash the potion of weakness on the zombie villager and give it the Golden Apple it will start to be cured. It will eventually turn back into a regular villager. Maybe these igloos are evidence of illagers unspeakable acts.

Maybe the Illagers we’re trying to create a human (We know that they weren’t only trying to recreate Steve, as the ancient builders were around when Zombies were around, and Zombies could only spread if they killed others) because they saw that the ancient builders were a superior “species” to the Villagers/Illagers and wanted to imitate and control that power.
I like this theory. Just a thought, what if the illigers actually succeeded in their attempts to create Steve? Not a copy, but Steve himself. The illagers could actually be Steve's creators. The zombies were just failed attempts, but the player character was the first successful one.
That's what I'm thinking. If the old villagers all died/became endermen and things like that, why is Steve still alive? Clearly hes not a direct descendant, because 1 How could he survive, and 2 Hed be able to craft end portals like the people before him. So maybe the Illagers were successful in their attempts
But Steve spawns far away from woodland mansions, and illagers are hostile while villagers are friendly. I think that, if this theory is somewhat correct, then Steve, or someone like him, would have been a blueprint, not a result. Also, why is Alex not being created? Seems unfair.
Illager: How about another joke Villager? Villager: No I think we had enough of your jokes. Illager: What do you get- Villager: I don't think so. Illager: when you cross a mentally ill loner with a SOCIETY THAT ABANDONS HIM, AND TREATS HIM LIKE TRAASH! Villager: Call the Iron Gollum. Call the Iron Gollum. Illager: I'LL THELL YOU WHAT YOU GET. YOU GET WHAT YOU FREAKING DESERVE! (Shoots arrow at villager)
MINI THEORY Also, there are iron gollems in cages outside pillage outposts. I think pillagers invade villages to capture iron gollems, which they then take back to the mansions to be reverse engineered by the evokers, helping them with their research into making artificial life. ANOTHER MINI THEORY ZA HANDO GA KUSU commented on this with a good idea. What if the iron gollems were created by the illigers as a gift to the villagers to atone for their crimes? The only thing left unanswered in that theory is the pillagers, who don't seem remorseful at all, with all the pillaging and plundering and murder ect. ect. It is possible that the pillagers are a separate group from the other illigers, after a dispute about whether the villagers could be forgiven for kicking them out. The illigers could have forgiven the villagers, while the illigers did not. The illigers could have then stolen the raviger beasts to go on a crusade against the villigers, capturing or killing the gollems that protect them, leaving the villagers vunrable to zombies. This could be why there are no raviger beasts, pillagers or iron gollems at woodland mansions. I really hope Matpat sees this.
Achu 03 iron golems wouldn’t have DNA though, and afaik there’s no connection between horses and illagers. How they’d do that without scientific equiptment I’m not sure, I think since there’s magic in Minecraft it’s safe to say they’d just have used magic to create the ravager.
Theory: since the villagers cant build, they got the ancient builders to do it for them, after these builders went missing, presumably extinct, the villagers couldn't expand their villages. This is when the illigers tried to create new builders to help build more villages. The other villages saw what they were doing, trying to defy the rules of life and death, so they cast them out for trying to play god. This probably explanes why they were trying to get to the end, so that they could get the emdermen back and try to make them back onto this ancient civilisation.
Adhnuall this would make sense, especially because of the raid ideas and villager killings. You did a good job taking evidence out of this video and digging deeper on some things from previous ones, and putting it together. Maybe the illagers were not all bad guys, but just want to protect you from their findings, and seek revenge on the ones who “evoked” them in the first place.
I know im late but i have something that confirms this theory. In the pillager outpoust they hold Iron Golems in cages, witch could then be transported to the Woodland Mansion and conduct experiments on them (Golems) etc. how they work
i thinkk i kniwwhat it is its ender mites that found the end city and they in fused in the purpur blocks i think thats how they got the shell ..... or they just have a life cycle of that its just a theory
Theory: the ancient builders made the elytra out of phantom membrane when entering the end portal some escaped the dragon and flew to the outer islands were they managed to create the end ships where they did their experiments (evidenced by the brewing stand in the ship) using end stone and purpur they managed to create the shulkers ( using a phantom membrane they managed to reverse the effects of slow falling) more Extras: the heads of the shulkers match the color of end stone.
My theory: think about every mob in a raid. The witch, pillager, evoker, vindicator, and ravager. They all have something in common with villagers. The witch is the only one that doesn't attack villagers. Why is that? Think about how one can spawn. They can spawn by a villager being struck by lightning. The witch can also spawn in witch huts. Those spawn in swamps, one of the only biomes that villages don't spawn. What if the witches don't attack villagers because they don't have anything against them. I think that the witches, after being struck by lightning, left their villages thinking they would be shunned like the illagers, or feeling like freaks, and they moved where the villager couldn't. They might only be on raids because they are slaves to the evoker. Why? Think about the prisons in the mansions. What one block do they have besides carpet? Cauldrons. I think this is for, not for sinks for villagers, but for witches to create potions for the evoker. The evoker can't create them. They heal illagers on raids, but refuse to attack their race because the villagers never did anything to them.
I have a theory: you can sometimes see that iron golem are in some cage at the towers. Iron golem can move, but their stone. Maybe they are trying to see how they live? Idk, maybe game theory can look into it
I have a theory that the nether and the overworld are on the same planet. How it works: MatPat and Austin have both proved the Minecraft world is round. Imagine the OVERworld is the surface (in other words OVER the nether). The nether is underground in the same planet. Imagine that the nether portal only teleported you vertically (straight up or down). Obviously, the nether would be smaller than the overworld because it fits inside the planet. So, if you went down to the nether and travelled a certain ratio of it - let's say 1/4 - then you will have travelled 1/4 of the overworld when you teleport back UP to the overworld. Obviously, this will mean you will have travelled more in the overworld than in the nether because 1/4 of the overworld will be bigger than 1/4 of the nether. I didn't do the exact calculations, but this is the general idea behind the theory. What it solves: This would solve Austin's video on the nether portals. Since the nether and the overwork will be a fixed distance away from each other (and the distance multiplier isn't some bending of space-time but instead simple geometry) then the nether portals won't need ever-increasing amounts of energy. Evidence: 1. There is bedrock UNDER the overworld and ABOVE the nether that you can't go past. P.s. This is in survival, I am not talking about creative. However, if I wanted to, I could mention in both cases there is a similar-looking void past the bedrock. The reason I don't talk about creative is because dropping through bedrock into the nether would be a very weird gameplay mechanic. 2. Since the nether is underground, it would obviously be hotter because it is closer to the core of the planet. 3. Water can't be placed as a liquid in the nether due to the pressure and heat caused by being underground. 4. The reason the ancient debris (coming in the nether update) will be so strong is because it will have to withstand the crazy pressure of being so far underground (near the bottom of the nether). 5. The lava lakes at the bottom of the nether could be the point where you begin to enter the mantle of the Minecraft planet. I have thought of other pieces of evidence, but they were too weak for me to put them here. I would love to see what you guys can add to this theory. Maybe MatPat might even see this.
Although it’s an awesome theory, it wouldn’t make that much sense geologically mainly because if this were true, quartz would spawn in the over world above diamond.
Two things: 1: Aren’t witches also illagers? 2: Steve is the one they got right. They want us to do their biding but we escaped and now must make a name for ourselves.
Witches seem to have some differences from Illagers, as they usually live on their own in swamp huts. That being said, they can appear in raid battles alongside Illagers, and are included in the "raid_members" tag in the game's code, so they at least work together with them at times.
This may get lost in the comments, but you ever notice how they're gray? Like, it doesn't make sense, right? Unless, they ate something. Take for example, Silver. High consumption of Silver can turn the user Blue, which is weird but true, and eating carrots makes your skin orange. The color of the Illager's is a 484A49 color code, which is off Cyan. and they do have magic yes? And Lapis is Magical Yes? Meaning, instead of injecting into them. What if they consumed it? Thus Why you can't get it off their loot tables, cuz it's gone, But since they ate it, They have the magic. While having the same goal as to eternal life, Cuz you know magic. Edit: Fixed some spelling
Side theory: The idea of Herobrine came before Illagers. The Minecraft team probably wanted to include him at some point, but they didn't know how. But now Illagers are in the game. And so the "recreation of Steve" that the video talks about will likely be Herobrine. So... maybe he'll be added? Don't know.
Herobrine was already added years ago by accident and they've been trying to get him out ever since. If you can find old patch notes You can see even back in the area of 1.2.0 (when I started playing) and find a note for either "Removing Herobrine" or "Removed Herobrine"
Hey matpat, I have something to add to your endermen theory concerning endermites: My theory is that endermites are parasites which have evolved from the silverfish which we find infesting the strongholds in which end-portals are housed We know that silverfish can hide in things such as blocks, so it can be assumed that the builders took them to the end with them by accident Like the builders, the silverfish evolved in the end, becoming the endermite; however, instead of gaining teleportation abilities like endermen, endermites became more efficient parasites, burrowing into endermen and lodging themselves in their ender-pearls, slowly killing them from the inside-out. This is why endermen attack them; so they themselves aren't infected. And the reason they sometimes spawn from thrown ender pearls is because that ender pearl you just threw came from an enderman who was infected by the endermites. Perhaps this is why some endermen don't drop ender-pearls; their pearls might already have been completely consumed by an endermite.
@@evo_is_confused They could've added some strange internal organ using gunpowder, which we know illagers have access to, because witches drop it, and use it to make splash potions
MATPAT! Here's a crazy theory for ya on the origins of skeletons. Your zombie disease video makes sense, but doesn't explain the skeletons. No disease is going to keep a pile of bones floating around. You'd need magic to do that. Here's a quote from the Mobestiary, " Some have proposed that skeletons are ancient adventurers raised from death by an evil sorcerer." In the game Minecraft Dungeons there is a group of ancient necromancers who live in a desert temple. They have blue glowing eyes (the color of souls) and when they summon skeletons, you can see small blue souls float away from the summoning area. They even shoot soul fire blasts! But why are they themselves undead? Maybe because when they (or some other humans) summoned the wither, they noticed that it doesn't attack undead things, and they turned themselves undead to protect themselves. I hope you read this!
Way back in middle school there was a Minecraft rumor going around. It claimed Steve was some sort of deity/god or a chosen one depending on who was telling the rumor. The rumor goes: Steve wasn’t always human; he was once a deity (or a human chosen by deities to survive the human apocalypse) but he did something horrible, though, the outcome was not his intention. Steve was then left to wander the world and be resurrected after each death; his life was his eternal punishment.

Nahh pillagers have green eyes too
It's only the vindicators that have blue eyes.
Good point
@@pinktuIip Oo, how about two iron blocks with brown wool surrounding it with a pumpkin on top?
@@pinktuIip I think it's possible as they could melt down the golems, and fuse them to the still living Villager. Using the Totem of Undying, they breath new life, but it could also be that there is some cow thrown in, which causes them to come back on all fours.
@@toastinvietnam7914 and instead of a pumpkin, they would use the head of a villager... Ugh, disgusting.
If we combine this theory with MatPat's then
Ravenger= /Villager + /Iron Golem + Totem of Undying
Why Totem, there's a chance of Evokers and Vindicators to spawn in Outpost
I just wanted to point out two things that may be relevant.
1: Illagers don’t attack baby villagers which means they must have SOME good morals.
2: During village raids witches appear sometimes.
@Spooky Filmz Ent. Your a good marketer. I’ll give you that.

Correct or not, I like this theory. Who came first, the zombie or the Steve? 😦
This is actually a compelling idea. Perhaps you should try and dive deeper into this.
Unless you're on hardcore, lol.
A point to add to this, is didn’t MatPat say in an earlier theory say that zombies come from the builders that came before? If so did the illagers find some builder body’s or skeletons and experimented on them creating the zombies and skeletons we find
Maybe after failed attempts to make Steve and instead made zombies they succeed and created Steve and Alex
The illagers turning villagers into ravagers kinda reminds me of combine turning human into stalkers

@Purebred noodle You’re thinking of that Evoker attack. Vindicators are the ones that use iron axes.

Thats actually frickin cool
And that also probably gave evokers their magical abilities.
Or they brought themselves back from the dead

HRMMITS NOT A FAZE HRMMOM
It’s entirely possible that the Illigers /did/ make Steve. We don’t know where the player character came from in the games- perhaps the illigers were finally successful, but the player hasn’t been as subservient as their other creations

Here's a theory: What if at one point in time, the illagers actually SUCCEEDED in reviving a builder from the undead, because we're forgetting the most important person in minecraft: YOU

That must be why I've been obsessed with creating an army of illagers to take over the overworld... Orb of dominance, here I come!
That's what I'm thinking. If the old villagers all died/became endermen and things like that, why is Steve still alive? Clearly hes not a direct descendant, because 1 How could he survive, and 2 Hed be able to craft end portals like the people before him. So maybe the Illagers were successful in their attempts
I doubt so. Steve might actually be the first and only successful result of an old builder experiment to revive the dead
Yeah, also what if Steve turned on the illagers, with villagers who exiled illagers, that’s why they attack the player.
But Steve spawns far away from woodland mansions, and illagers are hostile while villagers are friendly. I think that, if this theory is somewhat correct, then Steve, or someone like him, would have been a blueprint, not a result.
Also, why is Alex not being created?

MINI THEORY
Also, there are iron gollems in cages outside pillage outposts. I think pillagers invade villages to capture iron gollems, which they then take back to the mansions to be reverse engineered by the evokers, helping them with their research into making artificial life.
ANOTHER MINI THEORY
ZA HANDO GA KUSU commented on this with a good idea.
*That actually sounds reasonable.*
*big brain detected*
Umm..... that sounds right
So...
Villager + Iron Golem + Magic = Ravager?
This probably explanes why they were trying to get to the end, so that they could get the emdermen back and try to make them back onto this ancient civilisation.

i thinkk i kniwwhat it is its ender mites that found the end city and they in fused in the purpur blocks i think thats how they got the shell ..... or they just have a life cycle of that its just a theory
Theory: the ancient builders made the elytra out of phantom membrane when entering the end portal some escaped the dragon and flew to the outer islands were they managed to create the end ships where they did their experiments (evidenced by the brewing stand in the ship) using end stone and purpur they managed to create the shulkers ( using a phantom membrane they managed to reverse the effects of slow falling)
more Extras: the heads of the shulkers match the color of end stone.
Maybe they're more failed experiments by the builders?

What it solves:
This would solve Austin's video on the nether portals. Since the nether and the overwork will be a fixed distance away from each other (and the distance multiplier isn't some bending of space-time but instead simple geometry) then the nether portals won't need ever-increasing amounts of energy.
Evidence:
I like this theory. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being true.
WHY ARENT MORE PEOPLE LIKING THIS SO MATPAT SEES?!
Since the nether is closer to the core it is smaller so that’s why you travel 8 blocks times faster in the nether than the overworld
Although it’s an awesome theory, it wouldn’t make that much sense geologically mainly because if this were true, quartz would spawn in the over world above diamond.
I Dont know ŵhy i read the whole thing i just couldn't stop 😀
Two things:
1: Aren’t witches also illagers?
2: Steve is the one they got right. They want us to do their biding but we escaped and now must make a name for ourselves.
whoa... that would explain why there's only one Steve left, and how he spawned as an adult. I mean, where's his parents?
Yea this is a really BIG BRAIN time
Witches seem to have some differences from Illagers, as they usually live on their own in swamp huts. That being said, they can appear in raid battles alongside Illagers, and are included in the "raid_members" tag in the game's code, so they at least work together with them at times.
witches dont share same skin color, they also have their own hut in swamp biome
Capsule Tunic758 that would explain why we respawn because they gave us the power of life and death
What’s really funny he said “the show you just watch when your stuck inside and bored” well I’m stuck in isolation lol
I think the illagers were trying to bring back the old builders after they left the over world, to bring back the people they relied on the most.
Herobrine ???

While having the same goal as to eternal life,
Cuz you know
magic.
Edit: Fixed some spelling
Yes
I hope matpat sees that.
Can confirm, once turned orange.
Can't confirm, eat lots of carrots and am still not orange

Illagers: trying to create a new Steve with wool
Steve: look what they have to do to match a fraction of our power
Side theory:
The idea of Herobrine came before Illagers. The Minecraft team probably wanted to include him at some point, but they didn't know how. But now Illagers are in the game. And so the "recreation of Steve" that the video talks about will likely be Herobrine. So... maybe he'll be added? Don't know.

More Minecraft Theorys!
Some of them from Theorists and some of them from Mojang!! That's how it should be!!
More!
Herobrine was already added years ago by accident and they've been trying to get him out ever since. If you can find old patch notes You can see even back in the area of 1.2.0 (when I started playing) and find a note for either "Removing Herobrine" or "Removed Herobrine"
Hey matpat, I have something to add to your endermen theory concerning endermites:
My theory is that endermites are parasites which have evolved from the silverfish which we find infesting the strongholds in which end-portals are housed
We know that silverfish can hide in things such as blocks, so it can be assumed that the builders took them to the end with them by accident
Like the builders, the silverfish evolved in the end, becoming the endermite; however, instead of gaining teleportation abilities like endermen, endermites became more efficient parasites, burrowing into endermen and lodging themselves in their ender-pearls, slowly killing them from the inside-out.
Actually a great theory
Got underrated huh?
@@sugondese5497 Thank you! I also think the illagers might have created the wither.
Interesting!
This theory needs some attention
THe more I think about this, the more I think that literally every mob in the game could potentially be these guys's fault

"Let's just say you'll never see Illagers the same way again"
Me: they're necromancers right?

Way back in middle school there was a Minecraft rumor going around. It claimed Steve was some sort of deity/god or a chosen one depending on who was telling the rumor.
The rumor goes: Steve wasn’t always human; he was once a deity (or a human chosen by deities to survive the human apocalypse) but he did something horrible, though, the outcome was not his intention. Steve was then left to wander the world and be resurrected after each death; his life was his eternal punishment.
