@@eyremurasaki6306 makes sense because it's continuous and same notes, different octaves. Also less than 5 fingers of the same hand on an octave.

I love how you interpreted this piece, but my teacher blamed me for playing at such a speed cuz she said dwarfs can run only at a certain speed😂
Liszt himself would comment to anyone playing it too fast, "there you go, mixing salad again". At the correct speed this should take approx. 4 minutes. Checked with the authentically inspired Wolfgang Weller TH-cam recording and that is a few seconds under 4 minutes. No "mixing salad" there.

I found myself here after talking about Liszt Gnomenreigen etude, with someone I met on a game. I don't have much knowledge about classical music, but I enjoy listening to it.
But this method makes it very enjoyable for me to watch every movement, as well. As someone whom doesn't play instruments, this is super impressive.
Whoa! Another monster piece taken out! I have the sheet music for this in my Liszt book, and looking at it I always thought that very few people would even attempt it. I was wrong!

Actually it’s not as hard as some of Liszt’s other etudes but when it is near perfection it sounds a lot harder than it really is. (Sorry traum I can’t call you perfect because of the grace notes)

Oh yes Very nice piece. When I heard it first it was very early in my piano journey so I didn't understand most of liszt and didn't like this piece at all. But after 1 year I began listening to more music and really liked this piece and liszt became my favorite composer:)

This piece, is even probably, more difficult than "The Campanella"
Currently, I'm playing the campanella, and though it was difficult, wasn't so difficult as I thought
this piece is ten times harder than la campanella as far as technique

Any chance you can attempt liszt transcendental etude no.4 1838 version? No you tubers are successful in playing it near original tempo, your skill should be more than sufficient enough for it

Does the theme of Gnomenreigen not remind you a little bit of the theme of Chopin's Op 10 No black notes etude? It has the theme setup: descending notes in tonic, ascending back to the top in dominant.
Just discovered you yesterday, I've see most of your videos now ! If I can ask for pieces, could you play the impromptu 3 by Schubert, the raindrop prelude, ocean by chopin, and the man I love by Gershwin ? Thank you man, keep going !

I always consider all of your requests and start practice for more than 1 week and pick the piece.
