My method for leak detection is simple. First, I identify what would be the worst possible place, in terms of ease of repair, for a leak. That's where I start. 9 out of 10 times, that's where it is. I let my shitty luck work for me 😅. I'm going to have to get one of those fieldpiece units, and give it a shot. Thanks for the video 🤘

Taint yer luck feller, tis yourn experience. The sooner we come to grips with and learn to live with Murphy's law, the better off we are.

If bleeds, I can find the leak! The Field Piece for the win! Good job Dave!

Same small rooms in Memphis, Tn. They usually throw in a 1500 pound self contained ice maker for that sauna effect. Then they say things like "it doesn't make as much ice as it use to". We just smile. Enjoy the day Dave.

I like using the INFICON. It does a good job. Haven't tried the Fieldpiece you have, though. Great video once again! Love learning from you, Dave.

Worked on many Hobart/ Traulsen units. Replaced many evaporators, TXV' S, and hot gas drain pan loops. Made many out of a coil of 1/4" copper tubing.

Killed my H10 on friday after I turned it into a water fountain... Think it was just shy of $400 to get a new sensor shipped here, plus no doubt I'll get stung with import charges!

1dr traulsen units are so tight to work on. I like the 2dr and 3r units. But they gotta do something with the way to access the evap. Everytime you open the top cover its a pain in the butt.

No problem with bandaids if you got big nostrils 🤣🤣. Just bought a Accutrak Ultrasonic with the noise canceling headphones. It works unbelievable well to listen for the leak especially in multilayer coils. Nice job Dave

in this video Dave shows how hard he screwed his finger! 🤣🤣
ouch, ran screws into mine before and got many metal pieces cast off them, but never ran one in deep. I have stabbed in a drill bits and screw drivers before of course, little slip and OWW 😳

Great Video Dave! Got to love the predator blood. Funny you were talking about drilling your finger. I did the same thing this week putting the compressor cover back on an old Rheem RTU. Bled like a stuck pig.

Once again the SLR8 defeated the Inficon 🗑️🤷🏻‍♂️. Evaporator, TXV , and condensate loop to be on the safe side . Pay the fat guy lady 😃😀
