0:09 BOB: How many does she have right? MAN: All of them! BOB: Five! Bob only pointed out that a perfect switcheroo hasn't happened since 1984. But what Bob also forget to point out that when he asked how many she got right, a man shouted "All of Them!". Bob should have complimented that man
During Bob Barker's era, it seemed to be easier for contestants to play a perfect Switcheroo and Bonkers. Since Drew Carey has taken over, it seems that contestants in Switcheroo win no prizes or just one little prize and when they have three right the first time, they have to change and get 0 or 1 right. Bonkers has gone downhill since Drew Carey has been hosting the show because many contestants seem to be losing this game.
No...the 1984 remark may have actually been true, as Switcheroo did exist back then. But Bonkers did not exist until 2001. This was likely the first time that had ever happened, as Roger had said during a 2007 playing (with Angela B. from Manitoba) that it was the second time.
He's not talking about the first time it ever happened, he's talking about the LAST time it ever happened. Switcheroo has been won on the first try plenty of times since 1984. As far as the Bonkers remark goes, he's saying that both the first game and the second game being won on the first try hasn't happened since 1976.
Sorry y'all. I have to say that the guy shouting "all of them" was definitely added in post to add excitement to the show. The audio sounds like it was dubbed in, recorded and then added some unnatural reverb to make it sound like it happened live. The dialogue is way too clear to be natural.
Major kudos to the "All of 'em!" shouter!

The timing could NOT be ANY better. Amazing
Major respect to the two winners of both switcheroo and bonkers and I hope that they remember those wins for years to come.
A fantastic moment in TPIR history! Still, would have been a little funny if they had been wrong…

The dude in the audience at 0:12 hit the nail right on the head! One of my favorite TPIR non-DSW moments!

The entire show has gone downhill since Drew has been hosting.
A combination of dumb contestants and Drew overexplaining the games.

Just A Moment.
Bob maybe forgetting that time during Season 31 (March 2003), where the contestant Ryan won Switcheroo the first time around.
To be fair, his last few years had alleged "historic moments" every other show.
The 1984 remark was obviously a bluff, but the 1976 remark may actually be accurate, lol.

That’s what I’ll miss most of all, when somebody gets something historical, and they have to confirm it was a historic moment.
An episode of TPiR from 1992 with a perfect Switcheroo playing was uploaded a while ago, so that first remark was inaccurate.
We'll never know what the price of that prize was that wasn't $2352
$4,705 - it wasn't included in the clip here
And it never ever happened again on Switcheroo
