In New Zealand they registration for this Pulsar is "Nissan Pulsar Autech 2.0" Took me a full week to register it because they didn't know it was a car and thought it was modified beyond factory.

That's not a Spoon Civic - it's a standard EK4 Civic, just with Spoon suspension.

The Corolla coupé is such an unsung hero of a sports car. It has a vastly superior chassis to the other two. The 4A-GE 20v also sounds better than the B16A, makes about the same power, but more torque.

if toyota had the sense to send the levin and trueno bzr to america the whole inline 4 fr tuning scene in america would have been a lot different

I've owned both, and mod for mod the ek4 is a far better car.
20v does sound better, but doesn't pull as hard up top as the b16a, despite having the torque advantage. Gear ratios arnt as good as the civic also unless u have a bzr 6 speed lsd box, which isn't as strong as the 5 speed.
Reliability too, those 20vs eat rings for breakfast, and the bottom end isn't very strong compared to a b16 or b18.
You've also got the issue of finding parts nowadays, it's hard enough for B series and ek4, never mind an ae111. Took me weeks to find a corner lamp lol.
The susper strut suspension ones handle well, but again hard to find parts for as toyota have discontinued parts. An ordinary levin bzg handles nothing like the double wishbone suspension of an ek4/ek9.
One thing I loved about the levin was the factory seats and the overall styling however. Beautiful car, I had a trd front bumper, bomex skirts and lip. Felt more of a proper Japanese car than the ek4.
If I was solely basing it on performance and tunability tho I'd take the ek every time

I own a Sr20DE Autech Pulsar in silver, imported 67xxxkms from Japan into NZ about 2 years ago. 81xxxkms now. Amazing car and fuck it makes some noise, insane handling too, pulls any corner.

@@JoshuaHooks-ih1hh yea, it was a bit of lucky, the old lady has owned it for some times but she didn’t mention Autech on the listing, the car was used in Invercargill before so slightly rusty

Couldn't imagine an old lady driving one lol the noise. Invercargill always has the best buys

try to catch up with this pulsar again. It's not a fact that the sprinter honestly caught up with him.

That's no spoon civic. A spoon tuned civic of any degree would kill those other cars. As said it looks like a stock civic sir with different shocks or springs and that's it.
