  • Join me in the 6 month process it’s taken me to get this switch panel installed!
    It’s a super cool option that’s cheaper than the Auxbeam switch panel many people use and just as good of quality!

    Ha…yeah I have the Nilight version and ran into the same issue of the firewall. I just cut the wire and then spliced it back together. Looks janky but I don’t mind that

      Yeah I used Vaseline and it helped! But something specific to wiring would be smart!

    Nice install dude, have you ever heard of trigger wireless? I have that on my Tundra, have 2 light bars that are being controlled by it. Didn't have to go through all that work that you did. It even has an app that you can use as well along with the switches. The app lets you control the light bars, has flashing mode and also to dim the bars if they're too bright.

    Which fuse did you use for the acc wire? Can't seem to find an accessory fuse to plug the acc wire to..I have a 3rd Gen tacoma

    Should have tapped all the way down pass the connector. It would’ve acted as an entry assist. That’s how I did it in my titan.

    Dude thanks for the close ups. I’m running a wire from my tow mirrors to the cargo fuse tap in the engine bay. This will help. Still wonder how I can run a wire into the fuse box cleanly without just setting the lid over top.

    • @kccreations5945
      @kccreations5945  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I don’t really know either, hence why I set the lid overtop lol. I think there might be a release cut in the lid for a wire to go out but it was on the wrong side for me. If not you could just trim out a small relief cut and run it out that way!

    Are the buttons properly square or are they slightly rectangular? In my truck where I want to put it, it makes more sense to be sideways, so I’m hoping I can just put the stickers on sideways so they’re oriented properly…

      I’ll look when I get home, I think it needs to be mounted horizontally so if that’s what you were wanting to do that would be best!

    • @kccreations5945

      @@christophermiller6689 I mean you could run a hot fuse tap wire to a relay and on the other side of your relay have the radiator fan to it and one you turn the car on and that fuse gets power then so will the relay which will open it and power your fan!

    Where are you grounding your lights? It doesn’t appear that the fuse panel has a ground.

    • @kccreations5945

    So for example the light bar runs to the fuse box but where are you putting the ground that comes from the light bar I see power installed into fuse box but not the lights ground I’m confused

    • @kccreations5945
      @kccreations5945  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man sorry if I didn’t explain that well! I was confused when I first got it as to why there wasn’t a positive and negative slot. I grounded the lightbar wire to the battery negative terminal which is right next to my fuse box!
