I have no idea why but theirs a user named Eluna, who keeps asking me why I don’t use Vred and use blender now, I have no idea why I get the comment in my alerts but I can’t reply to it so I hope they see this comment. The only reason I have ever used Vred is because companies have paid me to. It’s over a grand a month for a license and even if it was free I would still use blender because it has much more capabilities. Vred to me is like intagram filters and blender is photoshop. It’s harder to learn but you have endless possibilities.
Hello sir, I have been seeing your channel since long. The first video I saw was the one in which you set environment in Blender using Eevee. The excellent visual that you created in Eevee had taken me by surprise because in the early versions of Eevee, it was tough to achieve what you you did. This made me explore your entire channel and I learnt that you are not only good with visuals, but designing cars as well. And obviously without a guess, you can say that I became interested in designing cars. I, having no source of income, can't afford the softwares you mainly use. Freecad is the only parametric designing software that I can afford. I searched for many car designing tutorials using Freecad online, but couldn't find any. I even requested a few people to make one, but unfortunately, no such tutorial has appeared anywhere. Therefore, I would be much grateful to you if you upload one such car designing tutorial using Freecad. Thank You.
Ooh, I'll have to check out that tool. I really like how you always teach practicality over just obsessing over getting curvature (even though u show how you do it). The more years I put behind me in this job, the less I care about getting perfect curvature. If it looks good, it's good haha. Especially if it's just a Vred model, or even a showcar where you know there will be tons of sanding happening anyways. Learning when to call it good enough for the application is super important to speed and hitting deadlines.
Ray, eres un master del Alias y como explicas los procesos es único!! gracias gracias. Thanks bro. I learnt in Italy with Katia Bettin one of the firts users of alias back in the 2000´s She was awersome with alias 12. but you have take the key points of modeling in alias to the next level of explanation!! WELL DONE
hey there, nice video, just a quick on I need a workstation, what would you recommend for Alias, just the middle of the line one, not the top but not the bottom to
Thanks for the videos. Always interesting to se different workflows! :) Im trying to find videos on hardware suited to specifically Autodesk Alias. If you have some experience it could be a good video. there is no information out there whatsoever and a million different options of workstations/laptops.
After years of using Icemsurf, a couple of years ago I had to change to Alias. Your videos are just right for me to make sure I’m not just replicating Icem workflows. (This video being a case in point). I wonder if you can publish a video explaining setting up symmetry of surfaces that are not on Y0 ie seats/headrests etc.
Go to layers on the top bar, then go to symmetry, then click on set plane. An icon will appear at 0,0,0 click on the middle point to move it around, remember when you place it click on set plane, the tools are based off the layers symmetry so make sure your geometry is in the right layer.
How can I setup the thickness of surface boundaries like in your setup? Your black surface outline is much thicker. I already tried (( ObjectDisplay > Draw Style > Surface Boundary > DOUBLE )) but it is way thinner. By the way, thank you so much for your awesome tutorials. I love them and it helps a lot!!! Please keep going :-)

You're a lifesaver! Last time I was doing ball point corners I was so close to burn and bury my computer.. Now I'm having a blast!
I for sure would’ve given up when ‘history’ went bananas at the end 😂 awesome stuff!!!
😂 every time I forget to delete history, alias reminds me why I always delete history
best video on the whole internet
Guruji thank you for this tutorial and free wire file. Thank you so much

I was checking to see how close I was to my 4 minute estimate on making your own fillets, I start at 12:15 and finish at 16:35 😂 close enough 😎

@@HandleBar3D cool. Thanks for the reply and help. I’ll have a look at that tomorrow.

Please do Y corners
How are you doing the continuity check to show that you need to adjust the CV's to become G2 curvature?
Thats called the surface continuity tool and it’s located under evaluate in your pallet, it’s the first icon
