Trendelenburg position, bright light, get the patient to cough (this will make the meatus "wink" at you). You'll get it every time. You're welcome.

I didn’t that much practice when I was in the LVN program. After watching your video I felt competent on doing the Foley catheter skills . Thank you so much for your you tube videos! God bless you and your family! 🙏🙇‍♀️❤️

AMAZING video, I'm going back to nursing school tomorrow and I'm reviewing everything I learned last semester. Not a single one of my nursing instructors emphasized preserving the patient's dignity like you did and it nearly brought a tear to my eye. Thanks again for the fantastic demonstration!

I've had to wipe first and then use an iodine solution for my patients. Homecare is so different. You keep it as sterile as possible!!!!! I just love your videos. You've been my online professor throughout school. I'm an RN now. Still very weird to say 🎉❤

Had this done while having a miscarriage. No lidocaine just very painful and unnecessary to fill my bladder to do an ultrasound. I actually screamed at them. I still have ptsd of this and never will get this again unless knocked out. Just put a diaper on me.

Can we straight away connect the CBD to the urine bag prior insertion or we have to insert the CBD first and if there is urine flow, then we can connect it with the urine bag?

This video SAVED me today!!! I am a final year medical student and a resident wanted us to place an urinary catheter to a female patient and I had no idea how to, since it was my first time. I had no choice but to do it. Don’t get me wrong, the procedure didn’t irritate me, but I feared that I will hurt my patient since I had no experience.
A friend offered help but I didn’t accept because I felt like I have to do it on my own to really learn it. I panicked and searched for videos and while taking breaths to calm down, I watched it from the beginning and I applied every step and succeeded😊🥳🤩
Special thanks to everyone who created and shared this video💖🙌

I'm getting surgery next month and will be getting this procedure. I'd like to know how I can have someone competent do this as I just watched two others doing the same thing and there were so many little mistakes that I winced a few times. Just because someone is an RN, does not mean they are capable. Thank you for giving me some hope that I might get a nurse who can perform this properly. This is the best demonstration I have seen.

I the ordinary countries, all materials kept in a trey and used as per requirement. The kit only increased the cost and wastage of extra materials. So treatment in USA is highest.
