With such a large herd, how do you handle if you have more than two does giving birth around the same time?
I’ve noticed the ferals here usually run in pairs, or sometimes three or four does all with small kids together, but unlike cattle don’t seem to “park” their kids or assign one babysitter to the whole bunch of young babes. The does don’t usually join up with a larger mixed herd until the littles are two months or so old.
