Uhh, MOSFET transistors are really most valuable than copper, but we love scrapping them, good job bro!

That is freaking genius!!! I was looking at using a rock tumbler with a handful of 3/4" bolts as a sort of hammer mill, but that seems to work really well! I don't have my community page yet (I am about 60 subs short), but rest assured, THIS is the first video I am sharing out!!! BTW, they're called mosfets or triads. I think they are a type of resistor.

Thanks, I think I'm going to have to tack weld the teeth, it wasn't made for copper lol. But it does the job pretty good. Can't do big ones but these small ones do great.

I wouldn’t have believed it without seeing it, but necessity is the mother of invention. 👍

Most of the transistors and voltage regulators are worth much as is. So long as your careful when desolddring them.

Oh sweet! I've been saving an old paper shredder just for such an occasion!

Great idea! I scrapped a shredder a while ago, I'll have to look for another one now.

Had to beef the blades up with a keyway

Those are transitors. They have GOLD INSIDE THEM AND THE SILVER COATING IS SILVER.. YES you are smashing up and throwing away GOLD AND SILVER FOR COPPER.. GOOD LUCK!

I didn't know about gold, perhaps that's the yellow I've found on some. Never thought about that. Thanks

I had to beef mine up by putting a key way and notching EVERY blade to fit on shaft. They stripped out lol. Now working good.
