Great trip. Talking about Mie Prefecture, first thing come in my mind is Suzuka International Circuit. Overall nice train, seat, amenities, and food. Can't wait for next trip.

great direct travel. nothing quite like it for improved continuity and ease of thought. when/if western train companies can consolidate and run an all electric train service direct from France or Italy I would save all my pennies to visit. It is a beautiful country with many great natural wonders to behold.

I like to follow your travels on google maps and I think this is your first video on that part of Japan, speaking of Shima in Mie prefecture. I have never looked at that area on a map before, It is a very interesting place with what looks like rolling hills, curvy roads and of course all the water. I think when a lot people think of live in Japan, they think of living in huge cities, but there really are a lot of small town in the middle of nowhere. I think that is really cool to see
