    this is amazing, had no idea there were so many deathcore acts in the 90s, at least we both agree damonacy was the first one lol. such a completely different genre that should totally get a revival imo. on the other hand, it seems that the 00s deathcore is going through a revival around late 10s/early 20s

    I see a lot of people complaining about not including Suicide Silence, Whitechapel and Chelsea Grin. But I can see why they weren’t included 1) They’re bigger label bands and copyright sucks. 2)They were able to find a smaller band that encompassed the sound of that year just as well. In the end music is about discovery. If this was all giant bands it’d be bland and like every other list.

    The earlier bands werent deathcore, mostly NYDM. But they did have influince on the genre. Damonacy and End of One are some of my fav NYDM bands, but if youre including them, you should also include Suffocation and Internal Bleeding, since they are also NYDM bands, and IB had a lot of hxcx influince. Both being extremely influential to deathcore. I don't think damonancy is deathcore, nor many of the early bands. Death metal with hxcx influince ≠ deathcore

      Deathcore kids love claiming bands that aren’t even apart of their genre

    Im sorry but i think suicide silence deserves to be on every deathcore list also i dont feel like this is an accurate representation of the evolution of deathcore WAY too much underground bands on this list and underground deathcore atleast as underground as these bands have been the music is honestly not nearly as good the the sound quality is terrible now putting those 90's bands was good but i really thought you would have included bands that genuinely had an influence on the genre and changed the genre you know thee way your supposed to make an evolution list

    not including suicide silence, Chelsea grin Whitechapel and bmth is a crime

      Bmth was never an essential part of this subgenre, whitechapel and jfac were the main characters

    Imagine being an elitist with Deathcore, not including BMTH or SS (2 of the most important bands in the genre) just because they are not grumpy, horribly recorded guitar slug fest and their songs dare to have more than 1m views. Y I K E S

      I didn't say anything about them "not being real deathcore" lmao I just wanted to do a different approach to showcase a genre.

    This video is misleading as fuck lol those 90s bands didn’t influence the 2000s strain of deathcore. It ain’t an evolution. If this was a proper evolution then Suffocation and Cryptopsy would be on here since those are the actual bands that influenced deathcore to sound the way it does, not Damaged.

    This is legit one of the worst lists I've ever seen. I only agreed with one of the band's/songs.

      Looking at a SS tee is more fun than listening to their music anyways.

    Why do you think this is deathcore and not death metal?

    • @juliogonzalez2880
      @juliogonzalez2880  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      because it has hardcore elements in it

      Didn't hear any hardcore elements in the first few songs. Sounded like 90s death metal. @@juliogonzalez2880
