Things don't get settled down after Ibrahim Pasha'd death.
Hurrem understands that Sultana Sah isn't a friend. She challanges her enemmies after having Suleiman in her corner. She lays on entertainment in harem as it's still being mourned for Ibrahim Pasha. This drives Hatice to distraction. As Mihrimah gets disappointed by Yahya of Taslica's attitude, Malkocoglu Bali Bey returns in Istanbul. He informs Suleiman that it will be attempted to assassinate him. Hatice vow vengeance against Hurrem and gets Diana in harem to kill her.
Hurrem understands that Sultana Sah has different aims and doesn't wait for too long to get her claws out. She lays on entertainment in harem after a short time İbrahim died. Hatice loses her temper after learning this and comes in harem to stop it.
Malkocoglu gets attacked on his way to the capital. However, he and his men manages to get over the attack. On the other hand, the effect of Ibrahim's death continues. The Pope thinks that Suleiman is left alone and takes an action to end him.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

I don't understand why all of them kept thinking that Hurrem is a threat to the dynasty while she gave birth to 4 princes who were actually the future of the dynasty. What else did they want her to do? Hurrem as a woman wouldn't take the place of Sultan, only her sons could. So what was the threat? They were all just dying of hate and jealousy which led to their end.
There's no threat lol. They just want to get rid of her because they somehow blamed every single detrimental thing to them as her fault
Hurrem is the definition of a manipulator, in all of her behaviors. That's the insane part to all of this to me. 👀
Hurrem married the sultan and became the equivalent of an Ottoman Queen. And what do princesses do if suddenly there is a queen ? Be scared, because their power is threatened and by a commoner nonetheless

Even though the break up of Mihrimah and Taslicali was first instigated by Hurrem , I still like how she explains to her daughter everything about the situation of Taslicali without making it sound like it was all his fault. I think Hurrem too understood that he truly loved Mihrimah.

It’s funny how Hurrem didint give up on her self and didint commit suicide but Hactice did and she didint even think about how special she was, she was literally the sister of Suleyman. Her life was important to many others. But Hurrem,s death was old age..instead of suicide

okay wait two things:
hatice sultan irl died in 1544 due to unknown reasons. she was never married to ibrahim pasha irl and therefore the reason of her death couldn't have been grief. the production picked up ibrahim-hatice's marriage theory because turks popularly believe it and well it just adds more drama. they had to make her exit by 1544 somehow and therefore that track and end.
secondly, hurrem died in 1558 well before suleiman died so there was no chance she could've committed suicide when she had all the power. also don't forget she tried to commit suicide multiple times because of her "love" for suleiman without giving a thought about her kids. she was lauded and loved then but the moment hatice commits suicide because of the grief over the loss of her love, suddenly pathetic and funny 🤷♀
The problem with these witches is that while they had husbands and everything they could ever dream of, they wanted the Sultan to love who they wanted. They did not care about his happiness. Always sticking there noses where it didn't belong. Also, why can't these people open their own doors?
This is the best comment ever!!!! These Sultana never knew the true meaning of love because they did not experience it for themselves. The Sultan cared for Gulfem and Mahidevran but never truly loved them. Hatice thought what she had with ibrahim was love but it wasn't due to her treating her husband as a subject instead of a man. Sah married to Lutfi who she's not in love with nor does she care for him and the list goes on. What the Sultan and Hurrem have is not very common in those day, woman were used ti secure alliances they didn't marry for love.

Of course, this was also a total setup by Hurrem and they all fell for it. Sah recognized it as soon as the Sultan said he allowed the festivities.

I think Mahidevran was the reason of dead of Ibrahim and Mustafa not Hurrem she was making troubles and Ibrahim had to back her up till the point he lost the trust of Sultan. So unless Ibrahim had bad intentions by being so close to Mahidevran and Mustafa was impossible to be this stupid! So probably Sultan was right to execute Ibrahim and Mustafa he saw the thread of Mahidevran!
I think Ibriham gave the Sultan plenty of reasons on his own, but his obvious preference for Mustafa and Mahidevran was certainly one of the nails in his coffin. That was one of the main reasons why Hurrem didn't like him because she knew that she couldn't trust him to protect her or her children. Hurrem trusted Bali Bey when he was serving the Sultan because she knew he was totally neutral. He did what the Sultan commanded, stayed out of palace intrigues, and didn't take obvious sides. He wouldn't ignore a threat to Mahidevran or Hurrem equally. He completely served the Sultan. Ibrahim on the other hand did everything he could to cover for Mahidevran even if what she did was clearly wrong. He then went out of his way to cover for Mustafa's mistakes and bad decisions too. He's supposed to be looking out for the Sultan's interests, not Mahidevran's and not Mustafa's. I could understand him for wanting to guide Mustafa because he was young and he needed guidance. But he should have kept Mahidevran at arm's length because her troubles came out of jealousy and bitterness.
I also think that Ibrahim thought that if he trained mustafa and protected him then he would be able to control him if mustafa became the sultan. However, each time mustafa proved he was unsuitable to become the sultan since he kept on disobeying the sultan's orders and Ibrahim protected mustafa each time which also earned the mistrust of the sultan towards Ibrahim.

okay but irrespective of my hate towards hurrem and suleiman. i love the entire cast so much. the behind the scene episodes and videos are so adorable, they had a lot fun. i personally enjoy shows a lot more if the cast bonds well and there's no drama. there's a video where the entire cast including firuze and ebussud effendi gave a farewell dinner to okan after his character was wrapped up and the other one is the men, that's suleiman, ibrahim, even though he wasnt a part of the cast then, bali bey, mustafa, taslicali, mehemet, ayaz pasha and other men, were spotted leaving post dinner. i love the cast so much!
