Angelina sings with an open and direct line to her heart .. to her emotions .. which is uniquely different than anyone else would sing it. Her focus seems to be the heart and wanting a listener to be moved exactly from there. I've never read so many comments about any singer as Angelina gets, about the emotion they felt from her as she sang .. which over and over means she has listeners say she made them cry .. men as much as women .. actually, i think it may even be more men than women. She touches our hearts. The song goes directly to the heart, skipping almost completely, the brain .. and opening up the tear ducts. SO POWERFUL. Thank you for your wonderful reaction. Easy On Me
Both Angelina Jordan and Adele are under the Republic Records umbrella, 12 hours after Adele released "Easy On Me," this video was dropped on the internet by AJ, and Adele has seen it. Adele wrote the song with its producer, Greg Kurstin, and it is about a broken marriage and a mother trying to explain to her son why it is happening. You have to ask yourself how a 15-year-old Angelina Jordan could do this song justice and give it the emotion it deserves? Here again, AJ takes on the impossible and makes it a classic as she always does.
As usual, grandma Mery is close, and even appears in this video with AJ. Mery has been a major powerhouse behind AJ, and they would be lost without each other. One genius helping create another.
Every time this girl opens her mouth and those ethereal sounds come rolling out, I lose my breath, and the tears appear. There is no one else on earth that moves me like AJ, and at 75 I have experienced the best the industry has to offer. © Larry D. Pifer
Angelina doesn't cover songs, she completes them. Adele is such a great songwriter and role model for Angelina. For completely different reasons than Adele, Angelina could relate to the lyrics of this great song. Angelina didn't have the time to choose what she was meant to do. Maybe in her previous life or lives, but in this current life, Angelina was meant to write songs and sing to heal the world.

Well when you listen to Angelina's cover which she did 2 days after Adele came out with it you'll see that she is much better
AJ put that together less than 2 weeks after Adele released her song....😮
Rob Christie is Playing Piano, and he is AJ's A&R person with Republic Records/Universal Music Group.
That dude playing the piano is Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, two years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision.
AJ now lives in West Hollywood in Los Angeles, where the record company Republic Records has built a separate music studio for her. She states; "I feel incredibly lucky to have been signed by one of the biggest record companies in the world. I have my own studio where I make my own music. Vocal expert analyzer Andreas Grussl did a comparison video, section by
section, and concludes that Angelina's rendition is much 'warmer', for as
a true jazz singer, whereas Adele is not, she is able to bring forth more
emotion laden penetration to heartfelt ballads. His video is titled, 'Is This
Better Than Adele?', and he also shows how Angelina actually 'out belts'
Adele in the power sections of the song. This is more than remarkable when
you realize experts say her lungs won't be fully developed until she reaches
her mid-20's.
