I'm only 5 minutes in, but I love your first outfit so much with the dress and the vest that I had to tell you and also go plot how to recreate those for myself 😅
I love all those projects on you but you have a special glow when wearing that union fibre shawl. I was so happy to see you in the alpenglow too because I thought i would love those colours together but havent seen anyone using them. Stunning.
Yes!!!!!!!!! The Alpenglow looks amazing I must have missed your podcast for that one. I learned from Ellen Lewis of CrazyForEwe that if you are over a C cup, you MUST pick a garment using your underarm measurement (NOT full bust) otherwise a lot of times the shoulders are way too big and you swim in it. Standard sizings assume you are a C cup! If you're bigger than a C, use underarm measurement, and add increases lower if you need to.
I love your knits. Your colors are so perfect in each item. You knit so perfectly professionally. I am color blind and choosing colors are very difficult for me. Loved this episode.
I love your beautiful garments, and I think I love the most your colorchoices - so stunning! With greetings from Germany, thank you for all the inspiration!💕👍🏽
Thank you so much, just a minute I have to get a pencil and paper to write down all the lovely knits you did last year I have so many idea's and I really appreciate it when you talk about the yarns so happy knitting. You have such a pretty smile 😊
I love how you weren’t going to do this video and then we got a lovely surprise! You have so much!! I really enjoy seeing what you’ve been working on and love the try-ons. This year I’m going to try and make more garments but want to focus on my size and what looks best on me. Thanks for the encouragement and relaxing chats 😊
Haha I went on a mission to figure out exactly what I made. And then as soon as I posted it I realized there were a few more items I completely overlooked. Oh well!
Loved watching this video! I love how you have the core colors you like to use, plus mixing it up with some different colors for the occasional project!
Wow that is a lot of fabulous knits. I am knitting the Coracle by Ysolda Teague, a really fun knit. You can always make duplicate stitch(es) on the back of a sweater so you can tell the back from the front. Make a heart or something fun. Happy 2024 knitting everyone.
Thanks for sharing your 2023 knits. My faves are the Alder Sweater, the Color Craze Shawl and the Manhattan Hat. I am a big fan of your color choices! 🤩
Great video Kaci. I wait for your episodes every week. You have great style girl! We share the same palette . My husband will ask “are you ever going to knit anything that isn’t brown, green or rust”…..probably not!
Thank you for sharing your knits of 2023, it was interesting to see the colours and shapes you gravitated towards and also how the accessories worked with the garments
I very recently finished my weekender crewneck and I love it and I did not add pockets. I do not miss those at all! And I really love this sweater that I really kind of think of as a sweatshirt.
Your knit (and sewn!) projects for 2023 are beautiful and really paints a picture of your style and colours. I absolutely love your taste projects and colours, and you've inspired me to knit my own Alder in colours I wouldn't normally go to, but were drawn from your choices (a tweedy light brown/beige and a deep red). Thank you for sharing your pretties, and I'm looking forward to what you come up with next!
Love your Alpenglow sweater! I have had issues many times with sweaters being too big if I go by bust size, doesn’t help that I am short as well. But now I am trying to use my above bust measurement (plus desired ease) and it really helps! You have made such beautiful sweaters, but in my opinion, most of those looked too big on you….on the other hand, some days nothing will do but a big comfy oversized sweater!
Kaci, Loved seeing all of your knits! And I loved seeing them on you, I made an “everything I knit” video and really appreciate all the work that you’ve put in for this ! The close up and photos all are so nice 🖤
Wow! Beautiful video! Your project is the first time I really understood the benefits of a collar/dickey! Now I want to make that one. I like the idea of looking like you are wearing a sweater under a jacket, and not having to knit the sleeves! Thank you!
You made so many items this year! Your Alpenglow is actually my favorite, but I'm especially intrigued by the collar - I wear dickey collars fairly frequently, but it never occurred to me that a knit one would be an option :)
I've had yarn for the Alpenglow sweater for awhile and I hope to knit it soon!! I love how yours turned out. I'm a loose knitter so I tend to always make the wrong size in Andrea's patterns (too big) so I think I will try your advice and size down for this one.
Another wonderful video!! I am surprised at how many new favorites I pinned. Hahaha! I have so many faves I will never knit them all. The struggle is real 😂❤🎉 thanks for sharing your beautiful knits!! And you can put them to good use to stay warm next week - it’s gonna be FRIGID!!! 🥶
I loved seeing all your knits. A very nice group of garments and accessories. I am wondering if your Taylor Swift sweater will ever make an appearance, I really loved seeing it as you were knitting.
OMG Kaci! That Alpenglow is GORGEOUS. I am literally working on that pattern as I watch this video and I am suddenly like…do I rip mine out and buy all new yarn and make one like yours? 😂❤ Your colors are always (chefs kiss). I just love catching up with you while I knit! Have a great week 😊
Lovely video ! Already so luch knitting for a most knits video ! I love seeing your projects but actually ... it would be nice to see them in better lighting and framing. Some of the knits we could not see the details especially the sailor cardigan I could not see the back collar
Hi Kaci👋🏼 binge watching your videos….you said, in this video, you were allergic to mohair and used ???? with Knitting for Olive merino….some type of suri….i couldn’t quite catch it…but I’m allergic to mohair too….can you tell me what it is? Thanks so much❤
Another beautiful podcast. Always like what you are working on. I hope your Dad is doing well. I keep thinking about him. And in your intro - I’m assuming that is you painting the birds- I know it it’s a knitting podcast but I wish you’d share your painting it looks amazing
Hi, you mention something called 'Surrey' several times. I'm a novice (under 1 year) knitter and don't know what Surrey is (apart from a county! Can you please tell me what it is, is it a brand name? Thanks :)
Yes! I’m talking about Suri Alpaca. Specifically a laceweight blend of Suri alpaca with a silk core. I use this in place of mohair when patterns call for it because I am allergic to mohair. Suri comes in a lot of brands and different weights but mainly in lace weight yarns
Hi Casey. Great fully packed and there’s more!? Very cool. I don’t see the sailors cardigan link. Can you post it please? Great color choices on you. Its awesome getting reviews on make ideas and yarn wear discretions, it helps when im buying from home or my lyrs doesn’t have that I want to try. You are a good judge for me because I can’t wear mohair either. ❤😊🧶
I'm only 5 minutes in, but I love your first outfit so much with the dress and the vest that I had to tell you and also go plot how to recreate those for myself 😅
Oh thank you!
This video was so satisfying that I think I just might have to watch it again later!!! ❤
Awww you’re such a sweetie
The sailor cardigan looked good on you, the tessellated also despite contrast with dress, loved the runnuculous especially the color.
I love all those projects on you but you have a special glow when wearing that union fibre shawl. I was so happy to see you in the alpenglow too because I thought i would love those colours together but havent seen anyone using them. Stunning.
Oh thank you! I love that shawl!
I loved everything about this video! Yowza you are prolific with your knitting. Love your style sense. ❤❤❤❤
I would love to learn about your time-management skills. Never miss your videos. They’re great!
Good idea! Thanks!

So many gorgeous sweaters and accessories!!! Get those warm sweaters ready, we’ve got some serious cold weather headed our way.
Yes we do!
Your alder sweater looked fabulous on you. 😊

Some very happy finished objects for me
Thank you for sharing your 2023 knits! I loved the two shawls at the end. Your color choices are always so creative 🥰
Thank you so much ❤❤
I love the colours of the Union Fibres shawl and the Ranunculus looks fabulous on you. I also love the colours of your weekender on you as well.
Thank you so much!
I want to raid your entire closet!! Everything you make is so cool and cozy and I love your distinct style 😊
So many nice knits! My faves are the sailor cardigan and the color craze shawl. Thanks for sharing!

I ended up having a lot of knitting time this year but it’s not always the case! We will see what happens this next year ❤

Great video Kaci. I wait for your episodes every week. You have great style girl! We share the same palette . My husband will ask “are you ever going to knit anything that isn’t brown, green or rust”…..probably not!
Very very nice Kaci !! My favorites are always the Ranunculus and the Farnham😊
Thank you! 😊
So many beautiful knits in 2023! Can’t wait to see what you make in 2024 ❤

Thank you for sharing your knits of 2023, it was interesting to see the colours and shapes you gravitated towards and also how the accessories worked with the garments
Kaci! What a great episode! I loved every single thing you knit last year and now I my list of “ to knit” has grown. 🙂
I very recently finished my weekender crewneck and I love it and I did not add pockets. I do not miss those at all! And I really love this sweater that I really kind of think of as a sweatshirt.
Wow what a stunning collection I love your taste in patterns and color choices.. I’m always inspired by you thanks so much beautiful

So happy to wake up to this! I've been looking forward to this video and it's going to keep me company while I get ready for work

Oew I love the color craze shawl ❤
I love your color palette so much!
Love all the textured jumpers as well. Makes me consider doing one. I'm in a plain raglan phase right now
Love your Alpenglow sweater! I have had issues many times with sweaters being too big if I go by bust size, doesn’t help that I am short as well. Thank you so much!! I’m glad that try on is over 🤣
Wow! Beautiful video! Your project is the first time I really understood the benefits of a collar/dickey! Now I want to make that one. I like the idea of looking like you are wearing a sweater under a jacket, and not having to knit the sleeves! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing it helps. I am a new knitter. Crochet for 60 years
So productive! The teal AM.....I like the pockets, but they'd be more flattering if they sat a little further out from the middle I think.
This is exactly accurate 😂😂😂
I can see why you wear the purples and ochres, they suit you so much! Inspired to try the midnattsol and a pressed flowers pattern :) love from the uk
Have fun! Let me know if you enjoy them!!!
Beautiful knits! Your colour choices are perfection - they suit you and elevate your items
What a beautiful collection, and I just love your color palette so much. Thank you so much for sharing, very inspiring!
You’re Aplineglow fits so beautifully! I always have trouble with circular yokes too. Exciting that you’ve figured out what works for you!
You made so many items this year! Your Alpenglow is actually my favorite, but I'm especially intrigued by the collar - I wear dickey collars fairly frequently, but it never occurred to me that a knit one would be an option :)
Very nicely done. Good designs and colors and they all look splendid on you.
As usual…..stunning!❤
Thank you so much!
what a great video! Your color choices are spot on and everything you knit looks great on you.
All your knits are beautiful.
❤I’m in love with all your creations❤.
Thank you ❤
Good golly, you've been busy!
Indeed! 🤣
Saw your Farnham sweater and picked it as my first sweater pattern. I’m a little intimidated by the pattern, so we’ll see 😬 ❤
I've had yarn for the Alpenglow sweater for awhile and I hope to knit it soon!!
So so so frigid!
i looooove all your knits Kaci, but your Ranunculus is so pretty both in that original colour and perfect loose fit. What size have you knit ?
You have good taste in the colors and color combinations
I love so many of the patterns and colors.
Slug is a perfect color name for that orange 😂
I love slug!!!
Awww you are so sweet thank you! And I’m sure your colors look gorgeous

Enjoyed seeing your knits for 2023! Currently working on the Maja cardgan, my first steeked project. Happy New Year!
Oooooo I’d love to hear how this goes!
I love love love the age and weekender on you, and I think the pockets look great. Would you give us/me more information on the yarn used
So sorry I forgot to add links to this video but I just did ❤
you look adorable in the manhattan hat--slouchy works for you! (you are a bit of a hipster!)
I like your taste.
Thanks!
Lovely video ! Already so luch knitting for a most knits video ! I love seeing your projects but actually ... it would be nice to see them in better lighting and framing. Some of the knits we could not see the details especially the sailor cardigan I could not see the back collar
I know I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize until after I had filmed it and was editing it. I’ll try to wear them on the next few episodes
❤❤❤
Love all your knits! How are you doing with your spinning?
It's good! Just not enough time in the day
I just love your knits! Could you perhaps tell me where I'd be able to find the sailor cardigan pattern? I only saw the original in korean online :(
@@marie-susanmartini5987 I’m so sorry. I don’t think it was ever released :(
@@YoungfolkKnits oh no, that's so sad. You look fabulous in yours 😍
🌈❤️

How do you knot a sweater in 2 days. It takes me longer to knit a pair of socks.
I so hate holding yarns double. I love the effect but do not enjoy the knitting.
