I hope no one complains that you talk about your freaking SMALL business making beautiful items. I'd rather watch a 5 part mini series of hour long episodes of you doing NOTHING but talking about what you make than even 1 more stupid TH-cam ad break. I'd rather hear about your passion for your art/craft than hear you do a sponsored video. I love what you do. Talk about it more, if you like!!!
*Gasp*, that hat is spectacular! The first time I did a top-down hat was the Musselburgh, but I learned an easier way to start, and I agree it is a great way to do a hat! And Gladys... she's pretty much your co-host now, the Sweet-Cheeked Hussy that she is.
I really like the colours you’ve chosen for your Flea Sweater! I recently made a scarf with lots of colours that shouldn’t really go together, and I love it.
Girl. You need to publish that hat pattern! Love it and am so glad you showed it to us! I'm hip-deep in Christmas knitting now, but definitely want to explore mosaic knitting. That had would be a great toe-dipper into that method. I'm also knitting another Christmas stocking--my 3rd one this year! Arne & Carlos are doing a MKAL stocking and it's so fun--6 rows a day are being released. Thanks for your wonderful post!
❤ is love a hat pattern. Ive been searching for the perfect top down hat. I'm fairly new to knitting and im enjoying working rhe crown on dpn but i struggle hard wirh magic loop. PS Your channel is my favorite and I have learned so much from you. I live your passion for not only knitting, but for your fiber business❤
I laughed out loud when you mentioned being busy with the PTA. My parents co-chaired our PTA when I was in elementary school and, while I remember how busy we were running around from meetings to events to errands for those meetings and events, those are some of my best memories now that I’m an adult 🥹
short rows saved me from my awful first-knit-sweater experience :) I'll most likely buy the frankensweater for next year's project, you are a delight to watch while knitting :)
You are always respectful about your viewer’s feelings and opinions. So I agree, if someone does not like that you promote your business…👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼. I like feisty Taylor!
I recently cast on a Musselburgh hat for my husband. That one is from the top down as well and it's been so fun. Definitely a game changer. I usually don't enjoy knitting hats and haven't knit many for that reason. But this is fun.
Yes! Love mosaic knitting too and didn’t expect it to be so easy… such a fun rhythm to knitting it. I would buy that hat pattern :) thanks for the inspiration, as always! Your yarn is lovely too… wish I didn’t already have yarn coming out my ears lol.
I love all your ideas for the hat pattern, yes yes yes. I knit the mexican blanket after hearing you talk about it and now also love mosaic knitting. I really want to knit your hat pattern now.
I was at my first ever fiber festival this past weekend, and saw someone wearing a WNH merch shirt! It was so neat to see so many fiber artists in the same location!
Hi Tayler. If you are taking votes, please put one LOUD "Yes!" for a pattern for the mosaic hat. Your patterns are fantastic: you word them perfectly for everyone to understand. (Your Fire Pit Mitts are a joy to make. They are my go-to gift, although I need MY name to go to the top of the list!!!) Hugs from Canada.
i just blew so much money on yarn while traveling abroad but i'm salivating over that agate colorway... also, if you're still on your mosaic kick you should check out the anjou series of patterns by skeinnydippin! the motif combines mosaic with texture and i had a whole saga with the tank top version this past summer on my own podcast lol. it's a really unique and fun look and super addictive pattern!
I think it would be wonderful to have some tutorials on the techniques you used for hat. And, why not publish the pattern you worked hard and deserve to showcase your skills. I’m glad you enjoyed your trip to Rockport, you were in my neck of the woods. We love taking day trips there to walk the beach and enjoy people watching on the neck. 💕. Iris
I am so glad that you decided to venture out and do this Flea sweater. Yours looks fantastic! I am knitting one along side you and I'm also loving it!! I went with Christmas colors to make a fun sweater to wear throughout the Christmas season. This also helped me get more comfortable with 1x1 color work (as I've been avoiding all kinds of color work in all my years of knitting) to prepare for my advent sweater (My Favorite Adventure). So, just a huge thanks!!!
The hat is super pretty! We probably need a pattern 😉. I always chuckle when you say “it’s getting a bit chilly here”. My guess is your ‘chilly’ is my ‘warm spring day’ where I am in Saskatchewan Canada. Today’s high is +4 celcius (39F) and the toques aren’t out yet!
Great podcast as always. Why is it that every time you say Born Shorn and Dyed, my mind replies Backs Sacks and Cracks?😅 If I lived in the US I’d defo be buying your Amber and Amethyst yarns - scrummy ❤
Hello You, great to have you back but pleased that the time spent with you're boys (all 3 of them) was fantastic. I absolutely love it when you visit because you are always like a breath of fresh air and so bubbly and I love bubbly people. Love your flea sweater and your hat. Your hat is similar to the Musselburgh by Ysolda Teague and I have knit that 7 times. I never thought to stop at hat 1, because when you knit Musselburgh, you get 2 hats, well one of them is put inside the other. I am going to try thr do one only way and see what happens. I'm incredibly in your little fibre for the people Company and the colors you have dyed are gorgeous essential Amber. Anyway lady, I am off to visit Patreon and see what you're doing there. Take care stay healthy and happy. So long.
I love both of your hats, I've knitted soooo many plain ones for the homeless & Vet's in Need. But I need a couple around the house for us! I would love to have tutorials on the mosaic knitting or patterns...thanks for offering.
Love the hat - also tried some lateral braids in a couple of recent projects when I was looking for something to add some interest to a series of improvised as I go charity blankets. Needed to find something to make knitting 7 white/cream acrylic 50x50cm squares interesting, so went for different edging/stiches/techniques etc to keep it so I was at least learning something new as I went. My braids ain't all that neat but I have been enjoying them and mosaic knitting is my plan for the first of the next batch. Practicing both on a top-down hat for myself first seems like a plan!
I just saw a free pattern from Knitpicks that features mosaic knitting in a hood (the Sequoia Cowl), and it made me think of you with your obsession for mosaic knitting and the hood you were developing from scratch a few months ago.
Great episode, love all your projects and your designs and just adding your own spin to a pattern. I’ve knit several Musselburgh hats - it begins at the crown and is used as a gauge swatch and gives you all the stitch counts for each size and gauge for the hat. Many varieties of musselburgh hats are around including some stripes, mosaic and stranded knitting, great for ideas!
Hello. I remember you speaking about how you knit the collar on your Flea Sweater to make it stand up a bit, giving it Audrey Hepburn vibes. I haven’t searched your videos for that but can’t find it. Am I imagining that? If not, would you point me to the correct video?
Hi Tayler , So glad you enjoyed your MA trip. I'm from the North Shore but haven't been to Rockport in a few years. Lots of beautiful sites to see. Did you venture to Salem? If so, I'm sure it must have been quite crazy with it being so close to Halloween. RE: your mosiac hat creation, I just saw a book called Mosiac Chart Directory for Knitting and Crochet by Anna Nikipirowicz. They have it at the Woolly Thistle. Lots of charts to choose from. Have a great week!
Hi Tayler. Your sweater is coming along beautifully. Was that The Girl From Ipanema you were sort of humming to figure out the name of the sweater pattern?😅😅. Ah the 60’s. Love your hat. I am starting a mosaic hat as soon as my yarn arrives. I find it easy, relaxing and beautiful. I also love a Latvian Braid. They are such a lovely design element and it is a perfect accent for your hat. Your blanket is stunning! I’ll have to go back and watch the video. I rarely knit my blankets. I usually crochet them. Hmm. Something to think about. I’m so happy you enjoyed to your trip to my state. Yes that area is referred to as The North Shore. Beautiful area!❤
I think it's just a bit bulky for me. And that probably is a user error thing. I just figure I may as well just weave them in, as much as it pains me to do so...😅
A cozy catch up for today. Enjoy! ❤☕
"bye, ugh idk." Lol relatable 😂
Love the hat! A pattern would be great :)
I hope no one complains that you talk about your freaking SMALL business making beautiful items. I'd rather hear about your passion for your art/craft than hear you do a sponsored video. I love what you do. Talk about it more, if you like!!!
Thank you so much. That means a whole lot to me. More than you know. ❤
Hear hear!!!
Absolutely!!
You are at your humorous best today 😂😂
@@klefk9235 why, thank you! 😘😘
“She’s a hussy” 😂🤣😂
Yep. I laughed out loud.
Made me 😂

Thank you so much. I'm so happy that y'all like the hat. And Gladys is a great cohost, for all her underdressed, hussy ways. 😂
I like both hats; but dark green is my favorite color. It would be fun to see mosaic knitting on the hat. Thanks for the video!
"Such a hussie"... ROTFL 😂
I’d LOVE to make the hat! It’s such a cool design and I’ve never tried mosaic knitting!
I would take self-promotion over meaningless ads or another Squarespace-sponsored video any day!
I really like the colours you’ve chosen for your Flea Sweater! I recently made a scarf with lots of colours that shouldn’t really go together, and I love it.
I love the way you show how to use Ravelry.
You are spicy 🌶️ today and I am here for it!! Thanks for being unapologetically you!!❤️❤️
The Barbara Walker stitch dictionaries have charted mosaic patterns in the colorwork section for anyone looking to create their own items.
"She's a hussie". 🤣🤣 Barbara Walker's "Knitting From The Top" is a great book. I LOVE the blue color of your hat! Fun episode! 🙂
Girl. You need to publish that hat pattern! Love it and am so glad you showed it to us! I'm hip-deep in Christmas knitting now, but definitely want to explore mosaic knitting. That green hat with the mosaic knitting and Latvian braid is the BOMB!!!! LOVE IT!!
Thank you Elizabeth!

I agree😊
Ask and you shall receive my friend. 😘
"She's a hussy" 🤣🤣🤣
(poor Gladys...)

My parents co-chaired our PTA when I was in elementary school and, while I remember how busy we were running around from meetings to events to errands for those meetings and events, those are some of my best memories now that I’m an adult 🥹
I. love seeing everything you make and love all your videos.
Your hat is beautiful! Looks like fun to learn both techniques
short rows saved me from my awful first-knit-sweater experience :) I'll most likely buy the frankensweater for next year's project, you are a delight to watch while knitting :)
Yes - please create a pattern for that hat! i would purchase that pattern in a heartbeat. 💚🧶
yes!! hat pattern
Absolutely love that hat!! So cute ❤
Thank you Katie!
You are always respectful about your viewer’s feelings and opinions. So I agree, if someone does not like that you promote your business…👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼. I like feisty Taylor!
Now I think I need to learn mosaic knitting so I can make some pretty mosaic hats!! So lovely!
You are awesome! Funny - yes you can’t please all, and what to say bye or to me BUY lol! Had me at Sloth mug!!❤😂
I recently cast on a Musselburgh hat for my husband. That one is from the top down as well and it's been so fun. Definitely a game changer. I usually don't enjoy knitting hats and haven't knit many for that reason. But this is fun.
I've yet to knit the Musselburgh and hear it's a great one. ❤
Yes! Love mosaic knitting too and didn’t expect it to be so easy… such a fun rhythm to knitting it. I would buy that hat pattern :) thanks for the inspiration, as always! Your yarn is lovely too… wish I didn’t already have yarn coming out my ears lol.
I love your green mosaic hat! thank you!
Love that hat, Tayler. ❤❤
Thank you Liesl!
I love that hat🥰❤️ hope you are all doing fabulous
I love the hat ❤. Please publish the pattern 😊
I love all your ideas for the hat pattern, yes yes yes. I knit the mexican blanket after hearing you talk about it and now also love mosaic knitting. I really want to knit your hat pattern now.

Wow!! Very cool! 🥰
I live in Boston, the North Shore of Massachusetts is beautiful. Glad you had a great trip.

Thank you SO much. This really makes my day and definitely motivates me to put this thing to paper. ❤️

Welcome back 😊so pleased you and the family had a great trip. Please do a hat series your hat is beautiful 🤩
Great hat. Barbara Walker’s 4 knitting stitch pattern books have very cool mosaic patterns. Never stop talking about your business!
BW's. "Charted Knitting Designs" book is FULL of mosaic charts!
Your hat is soooo nice!!!
Beautiful colors of your new yarns.
Thank you Maureen!

I love that hat! I'm thinking my BFF would love it too! Need a pattern!!!!
I love that hat!! Too many ideas, not enough time
I love the hat Tayler! Your ideas of creating some videos to go along with it sounds great as well! Bravo 👏
Your flea sweater is so cute! What a fun colorway.
It's so amazing listen to you. 🎉. You made my day☺️
That means a lot. Thank you!
Great hat! I am going to try a top down hat, it makes perfect sense to do it that way.
Great podcast thank you
The hat is beautiful, would love a pattern for it. Your colors are perfect!
Those colors for the next update are GORGEOUS 😍
Thank you so much!
I love that hat! Gimme all the formulas and resources!
Yes please to the hat pattern and how to do the different techniques! The hat is beautiful!
Always great to see you, Tayler! Now I will have to give mosaic knitting a try. 😁
I’d definitely be interested in that hat pattern and videos on the techniques. I love your work!
Great podcast as always.

Best timing!!! Just got my toddler down to nap and have yarn to detangle ❤
Yay!! Enjoy Jillian. ❤️
Welcome back! You’ve been missed! 🌸🌼🌻🌵
Oh I love love love the hat! Please put the pattern up on Ravelry!
Love! Love! Love the hat. Many times my hats end up a little short over the ears because I underestimate the amount needed for the crown
I love both of your hats, I've knitted soooo many plain ones for the homeless & Vet's in Need. But I need a couple around the house for us! I would love to have tutorials on the mosaic knitting or patterns...thanks for offering.
Thank you! I'm definitely going to get some videos up on that. ❤
Hi Tayler! I would also recommend Mosaic Knitting Workshop by Ashleigh Wempe. The book has tons of charts. Great reference. Love your channel.
You went to Rockport! One of my favorite places! That area is called Cape Ann 🥰
I love the sweater you are wearing!
Thank you!!
Yes, yes, yes….would love to buy that pattern!
Thank you so much!
Nice having you back!
Thank you! 😘

Mosaic knitting?? I’ve avoided learning this!
PS: I’m an EMT currently typing this from the ambo. Love all the calm energy you bring to my crazy days.
It is my pleasure...and thank YOU for all you do for people. You're a true hero. My oldest brother is an EMT and you folks are incredible. 🙏
Coming to Las Vegas in Dec. would be able to recommend any LYS, I will be in the Summerland and Henderson area. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much Thea! And yep...that was indeed Girl from Ipanema. 😘
@ It evokes such wonderful memories of my childhood when life was happy and carefree. 😍
Oh and also, you are very welcome!🤗
I have only done crochet mosaic -- I prefer to do it Tunisian style to avoid the myriad ends.
I have not yet tried knitting mosaic.
Why didn’t you like the end-braiding strategy? Dang, I loved that idea! 😂😂😂
I think it's just a bit bulky for me. And that probably is a user error thing. I just figure I may as well just weave them in, as much as it pains me to do so...😅
The hat is very cool! Also, where did you get that Tee shirt you wore in the Mexican blanket episode? It says Veruca Salt and has a dog on it…
How are you avoiding the jogging in the round in the mosaic hat?
Of course we’re also going to talk about our products when it applies, I don’t think we need to apologize for that.
She's not wearing any pants. 😆
She never does. She's walking a fine line. 😂
You know, once it’s a finished object you could call it born, shorn, and worn.
Love that.
