- NOTE: These videos were created in the Cruicible expansion for subscribers of the EIE project. Some of the content may be dated but most if not all of it should still be relevant.
Video Content: Willl flies a solo unlinked and unscouted armor myrmidon through null sec. He talks about the ship and shows some of the things you can do with it.
Such incredible gameplay here. You're fantastic in your narration and breakdowns of the strategy. I learned a lot just from watching how you play.
Its 2020 and you videos are still ones of the best contents about Eve imo. Thanks for you excellent work.
Its amazing how calm you stay and in control, I fly a myrmidon and a brutix, its hard not to panic especially when the screen is flashing all over the place, help like this video is excellent.
i've been playing since 04 and have watched many, MANY pvp video's. but what i really admire about your video's is that yes, you most certainly are aware of what to do, what/when to fight etc, but what is most admirable is your calmness and the way you react sensibly. so thank you for taking the time to make and post your fights.
Glad to hear it! That sounds like a fun fight, and it's nice to see people getting soemthing out of the videos. And yes, it's not good agaisnt kiting, but nothing that kites you is going to do enough dps to break you, so yeah, staying around gates/stations will allow you to deaggro and jump out/dock
It's for spare cap boosters. containers have more cargo space than they take up, so it'll allow you to have a few extra 800s
Was about to say something about the video quality itself, but then I looked when this was uploaded. 2012. Well besides that, impressive video! You obviously know a LOT about Eve and the ships. Well done!
Very interesting.
I haven't played this game in years, but watching your relaxed, considered and deeply tactical approach and narration was really a pleasure.
Dude, you are a God among capsuleers! This was the most informative and complete video I have ever seen for EVE tutorial/commentary. Instantaneous subscriber. Thanks and please keep posting.
This video has taught me that while good at games in general, I will never have skill in Eve lol
This was amazing to watch... i was really impressed by the first fight where you manage to re-bait the cynabal.. cudos to you man. i wish i was that good
A very well put together video. Excellent intelligent commentary. Good explanations as to why you were doing what you were doing. To someone is who is still skilling up to be an effective Myrmidon pilot this is gold dust. Thanks
I rarely comment on videos but I had to log in just to commend you on the commentary aspect. You do a great job of explaining your decision making which will help newer players understand pvp rather than try and make sense of whats happening on screen. Kudos to you!!
Been a couple of years since I quit - but interesting to watch the odd video to see how things are going. Interesting watching you play and narrate your strategy - it is only this easy if 1) you're good and 2) you have a lot of experience. Have fun playing.
Mate the way you use that amount of info during the lead up to a fight and during a fight is pretty damn impressive. I wish I could play half as well as you
totally agree. I learned so much during this video.............. hope one day I will be at this level, or at least close :)
As a 2007 player who has always just been a chicken shit gate pirate, I appreciate your videos. They have allowed me to branch out from my "home space" of safe spots and waiting for prey. For the past few months I've gotten out there, and actually won fights on my own in null. Kudos.
That was the best eve PVP video I have ever watched, very informative mate, respect...subscribed
Awesome! I tried my hand at PVP and without the knowledge of what ships are commonly used for I found I more or less died all the time. Very informative! Thanks for posting!
Still one of my favorite Eve videos
i really enjoyed your explanations thank you.
You sir... Are a badass... Love the video, love the camerawork, and love how you explain everything so clearly. 10/10
To be honest, Cyclones are quite tricky to fly these days unless you use crystals/links. It has a much smaller engagement range than a myrmidon at least. It is however possible to do it, and we might do it later. Till then, I suggest checking out Laktos' latest video which has some cool cyclone footage: watch?v=4CsZ6OO5cVk
Bro, I know this is a old video but you do a awesome job explaining what and how you do things thx you for this.
Amazing video and i love the ending, "its getting late, ill look for someone to kill me so i can get podded"
I flew with and against Will Adama in RVB. He was a damn good pilot. This vid is awesome. Convinced me to jump in a Myrm and give it a try. Looking forward to more videos.
I honestly think this is the most outstanding PVP Video on EIE.
Very good video tutorial for those wanting to learn more about EVE PvP.
Thanks for the video. You did a really good job of explaining everything. I'll be watching more for sure!
I love using the myrm and just started the solo pvp thing. You show its possible to get great kills and survive. Its nice to know how to use the star map for roams while solo. I really leared alot from your video. Thank you!
Glad to be of help :), love that ship.
This has inspired me to play again after 2 years.
GREAT JOB
Thanks for sharing
Its always nice to see some good professional made and explained game vids
Will - I just wanted to let you know that you're right, bait tanking is very difficult. I modified this fit to make a a dual rep vexor. first couple fights went well, but the last one i bought it. Still, this is a great video, and thanks for the help! =)
I agree I really enjoyed the commentary. It's great to hear good pvpers that aren't full of themselves and act like jerks to everyone else.
Stay calm. Assess the situation. Make the best decision. Got it. This is great. I never played the game before but I think I will give it a shot soon.
Keep it coming, my friend. This was very informative. Well done!
Letting the drake de-cloak and get shot first was just brilliant. Very nice move...
Amazing video! The level of skill is astonishing.
I'm pretty new to EVE, but I know a bit about the game (in theory)...but watching this video was so much fun. Thanks!
I learned so much from your video. Thank you
=)
I love your voice and your way to speak, it seems so easy and it is easy to see that you're a very experienced player. You must be a great FC.
Continue doing vids, I loved that one, gonna watch the others (while afk mining xD)
Awesome video. Great commentary. Really informative and great advert for solo pvping in null sec. Almost makes me want to re-activate my accounts. And I always used to regret training gallente! :D Always loved the myrmidon :) Keep posting dude.
thanks for the advice, i'll run a few missions tonight.
I've now watched most of the EIE videos and you're pretty much the only guy, that is easy to understand (doesn't record his videos at a beach ;)) - please tell the other guys to use your recording setup. And also please release a new video asap! :)
You my friend are AWESOME! Thanks for doing this video. I've died so much in Null Sec that I pretty much live in Hi-Sec. I'm Gallente and I've been playing for 4+ years. However, I've never been able to do PVP correctly. I'm a former member of TEST and Goonswarm. And, your video has taught me more than those guys ever did. Keep up the good work bro.
I know this vid is old but man great vid. Thanks for the tips
Very very good commentary, loved to watch it!
Drakes normally die slowly, but that was just too many tornadoes, good job sacrificing him to get out clean on your own.
that tornado pilot would have been raging, nice kill
Great video of you guy :) keep up the good work. I sometimes take the time to help newcomers and i will definitely add your site and videos to the ones i recommend.
Wow, I never realised eve was this tactical. It always seemed to be a case of 'bring lots of ships and just all fire on anything that comes in range'.
This was very helpful, maybe it'll help me stop sucking at pvp so much!
I loved the drake dieing to the tornado camp part. lol well done
Amazing vid. Thanks a lot for sharing your PVP experience.
(29:44)"All this was done in one EVE-ing" Oh, the irony!
Great hints and tactics!
In a million years I would have never thought to triple rep a Myrmidon, I usually triple rep the eanm's... nice thanks for the tip.
Note that Adama uses killboards to look up target's likely fit and companions. This is key.
Oh wow, that was hilarious how you used that Drake as bait in this gate camp at 18:30, he probably cried on the inside when he blew up and saw you jump through the gate to safety lol.
I actually wanted to say the exact same thing!
But I do miss EVE though :(
I would really love if you did a Cyclone video, it's one of my favourite ships, and I would love to see someone use one effectively. I can't afford to fly with crystals or links so it would be nice to see some more fights that don't utilize such bonuses as well.
Thank you for the awesome video! Learning a lot.
+1 Great video, entertaining and educational! Also really great commentary.
Yes, that was a mistake on my part, it doesn't have a bonus. Nonetheless I just like blasters better cause the dps on unbonussed autocannons isn't impressive. Either way is fine though
My alt was one of the bombers that killed you the second time. I was just moving stuff from point A to point B as well, some BPs iirc. Wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation at first, but figured I might as well help the friendly BS on the gate. Enjoyed the video, might actually have me train hybrids now... or try it with medium ACs, of course.
Awesome video, thanks for making it (:
i like how u overheat your scram and web to prevent sabre getting its own scram in range.
LOL, the way he made them think he was going to die.
player intelligence is often a far more valuable asset than in game skill points, bravo
Wellcome back.
the myrm was legendary back when it could launch 5 heavy drones and utilise 6 nuetron cannons and an awesome tank.. it was lethal. but then they nerfed the hell out of it to almost uselessness.. and then they rebuffed it which made it reasonable which is how it should be. loving the drone bay now may not be 5 heavies but you do have more options with a larger bay.
i jsut started this game and i wish i had a coach like you^^
How's it goin, man?
44 certificates available. WTF?! :D - nice vid + awesome commentary! keep up the good work!
Haha, glad to hear it :)
Another great video, but again when watching in full screen 1080P I keep clicking on your modules!!!!
that was a nice refreshing video thanks Odama. For a 1 year old toon what is the most versatile ship besides myrmidon? Working on medium hybrids will do heavies asap and then specialize being the dedicated Gallente citizen i am?
Thanks,
your site is just .. amazing
Awesome vid. Thanks for taking the time. Subbed
It made me giggle when you let the drake die to the gate camp :p
I tried it in EFT and the only way to get this setup to work now is with two "Medium Ancillary Curent Router II" and a "Inherent Implants 'Squire' Engineering EG-603". But This way you can only fit one "Medium Nanobot Accelerator I". Other possibility would be to use Autocannons, so you won't need the implant, only one "Medium Ancillary Curent Router II", one "Medium Ancillary Curent Router I" and so you could use "Medium Nanobot Accelerator II". All Skills lvl 5 ofc. ^^
Cool video. Im a noob at PVP and this video is quite educational. :)
I also fly a myrm, but can't fit it like that yet.
You must be one of the best EVE players ever.
with some blue pill and an Xlarge booster + cap booster, you can tank MASSIVE amounts and do nice DPS. Everyone usually goes for the hurricane, but cyclone with the right fit + boosts can be sick. I've been playing EVE for a while and never used the test server, SiSi (singularity). USE IT!!! It is INSANE! Everything costs 100 ISK and you can just try any fits you want, GREAT way to practice fits, tactics, boosters etc
Great commentary, informative.
No. You will get paid money which depends on what ship u insured an which insurance you chose. The problem is the insurance is only for the ship not for equipment which can be worth a lot more then the ship itself. If you are lucky u can pick up whats left of it.
That's what I figured. And it looks like a lot of fun too. I was just curious if there was any benefit to the character's progression in-game.
You just made me return to EvE!
4 Heavy Electrons, Medium Neut
Web, Scram, Medium cap x2, MWD
x2 Med Armor Rep, Ancillary Armor Rep, Explosive Hardener, Energized Adaptive, Damage control.
Works well for me =D
EveIsEasy, LIKE A SIR!
I loved the myrmidon and now I wanna resubscribe!
Nice tutorial video. Very informative.
Great video! I really enjoyed it.
Fun. He's buying ships and getting them blown up because it's fun.
1% powergrid implant!
Hey EveisEasy! I like your videos. I am fairly new to eve and will be up to battlecruisers in the next couple days. I was curious as to why you have not claimed your certificates in this video, or at least I noticed that you had 44 available. Is there any reason to not claim certificates that I am not aware of? Thanks, and thank you for sharing this fit.
Its very rare to see good guides like this for eve, could you do some with minmatar and amarr ships?
I see! Thanks for the reply! :)
Call him ender wiggin
it gives more space than it takes up so he can put more cap boosters in it
For the love of god, claim your Certificates
cap boosters counter nos/neuts, cap batteries give protection/better buffer.
that being said, cap boosters over cap batteries any day.
