Check out the Take basket, made from flexible material. Super comfy and will outlast any of these. Can be drilled easily to add pegs (e.g. flexi stripper pegs)
I have used that green one for the last 5 yrs when fishing for bonefish in the bahamas. I sometime do some deep water wading or even swimming a short distance with my gear. I can just put gear in the basket and float it ahead of me if i need to swim or push it in front of me while wading. So the no drain hole option works the best for me. Good choices for whatever application works best for you.
A little backstory to the SA one, is a licensed product. Made and invented in Denmark, sold here under the inventors name, Søndergaard. Use it my self.
100 bucks for a piece of plastic. Wow i wonder what we are actually getting in terms of value on all the other gear from this companies. I got an Orvis Clearwater rod,but fell out during fishing, the inside was glued to the blank with cardboard,no help from customers service i have glued it my self with epoxy.
i started getting my gear from maxcatchfishing, really good pricing and decent quality. now I need a stripping basket and don't want to pay these ridiculous prices for plastic either haha
@@3runjosh i know, right? I made mine from some stuf out of Chinese pet shop, like some little sleep basket and a toy for paws or something and it works great, it costed less than 10 $ all together
Ahrex. Tried almost all baskets. Ecoastal would be good if they wouldn’t have these totally stiff sticks!!!! The line tangles in them. Total nonsense at a total insane price on top! Didn’t like it at all!
Thanks tons for your insights and overviews of various stripping baskets. Awesome.

I had had my Orvis for about 25 years , use a bunge cord , and re glassed 2 of the corners with plastic JB weld.
Thanks for sharing

Hej flemming.
