Bought one on day one. This is what I have been waiting for…always wanted a Smart Folio-like case for my phones. This is better than I expected. Better than a skin and easy to take on and off. Love it!

@@Johnfocker23 I am usually a no case person. I cannot remember the last time I dropped my phone. This just gives me the added grip while holding with one hand and the reassurance that the lenses will not get scratched when I set it down face up.
Reminds me of the backplates the old Motorola phones had some years ago. They also used magnetic backs but had a pin system on the bottom for accessories like camera lenses add ons and such

I should have ordered one on day one when I got the email about the release, but I was up in the air. After your vid I immediately purchased one. Most of the time I rock a leather case, but sometimes I just want to go case less. And this is literally THE perfect mix and a perfect accessory. Thanks for the review and another great vid T!!

Just got mine on Monday, and I love it. It does still have a little smell which I don’t like, but I know it won’t last forever. Gonna have to put a screen protector on, but this is the best case I’ve used.

A company made something similar back around the iPhone 5 years. It wasn’t leather but was adhesive, had cutout for Apple logo and was more raised than this product.
It’s only available for iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max. Does it fit iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max?

Another informative, cool video Tee, you the guy I go to when it comes to Thoughts on cases. Love that look of minimal Case, Nomad hit the bullseye on this one, but I think they should expand on this minimal case with different colors, maybe designs…it would open up to more people, not everyone wants just brown/black leather.
I had this idea once, when I held up that rhinoshield mod nx magsafe plate, with the phone, it felt really good in hand

I got the Arc Pulse for my 15 pro max, much prefer that, the looks are sick and it protects a lot more than this would, while also giving you the feeling of not using a case
Yeah the Arc Pulse is for sure going to give you more protection.

Looks good but I need the full protection, man. I would punch myself if I scratched the sides of my phone. I have one scratch on the side of my phone from two years ago and it still makes me mad😄

I’ve had it for about a week. I got the black one from my black titanium 15 pro max and I absolutely love it!
Anyone knows if the microsuction patches wear off over time, if I frequently remove the case? I like to rotate among my other cases depending on my day. Just wondering if the patches become less effective quicker from this.
Motorola did something like that for the Moto Z line back in the day, they were magnetic too

Ok so i caved and placed my order 😂 wanted to see what this is all about as i miss the smell of a leather case lol and didn’t want a Skin, hoping i can swap this out between this and my Arc Pulse 😂
The problem is that, it’s better to just use a skin at this point, because when it comes to a case, the protecting part really is done with the corners, of the case, even all the dents and paint chipping off that happen on a phone while dropping, happens on the corners, this is just useless, a skin would adhere much better and feel more seamless, I could see a point to it in countries like India, where dbrand doesn’t sell, so if you’re a really big fan of real leather.
Are there any other brands that make cases like this? The nomad one is €70 incl shipping to the Netherlands….
As a minimal case enthusiast, and someone who has few qualms about leaving the fate of my phone to God (and Capital One), I really like this. I've owned Pitaka/Latercase for the last few generations, and rocked an iPhone 7 Plus with a dbrand skin because my main complaint about using a naked iPhone is that the phone is very slippery and takes force to hold onto, especially when your skin is dry. At home I often find myself taking off my case and just using a pop-socket on the naked phone for some surety in the grip.
This kind of reminds me of the dbrand leather skin (something I've seriously considered), with the added advantage of being removable if you want to swap to a case. I also wonder if they could add some fingers on the corners and give a similar level of protection to the Arc Pulse without being as THICC on those corners. Anyways, this is a neat idea from Andar. I'm not in at this price, especially when I already have multiple 15 pro max cases, but I look forward to seeing them innovate with this concept.

Have you tried the Nomad case plus the Arc pulse bumpers? It probably won’t work but maybe worth the shot
I don’t see it working as the Arc Pulse is a very tight fit and it wont fit over the camera bump, I’m tempted to try a leather skin with the Arc Pulse

I hope Nomad will do a full leather case for our iPhones. Their horween leather is on another level when it comes to feel and smell. This is like Dbrand skin with camera protection.

I hate my black iPhone 15 I rather have the natural titanium because the black don’t hold well on the titanium it gets small splitting doe to a case and dust in it it’s annoying.
This case makes no sense at all. No protection on the corners at all, like you pointed out, Tee. The Arc Pulse is far superior because you get to see the color of your phone, plus protect the essential parts of your phone.
I got the Suti silicone back and I love it. They said they’re working on a leather version in May. This is getting me excited. I hate cases.
I've seen a few comments talking about this so I might have to check it out.

The purpose of a case is to protect your phone. This is an ornament. If you want that for your phone, fine, and I realize it boosts your MagSafe capabilities. But for me, I’d rather go with a real case or entirely without.

I wonder if they could do one that connects via the magasfe of the iPhone instead of sticky stuff. I don't use magsafe accessories so I would be fine having my magsafe used up by the backplate. That way someone could take it on and off anytime they wanted.

@@TechnicallyTeeUS brand is not cheap on shipping to Europe😢. But I made an order for Ryan London full-cover leather case. First time with full cover. I used to have Nomad. Ryan London case has no drop protection at all, right? In case you accidentally drop it (from the phone holding height)
Mine's rubbish. The bottom doesn't stay stuck on so lifts. The pads are sticky to touch but clearly aren't high enough from the frame to stick to the iPhone. I'm in UK so I'm stuck with an expensive waste of money. Send it back? Not worth it. By the time I pay for International shipping and such, it's not worth it. I wanted this to be so good but mine isn't.
Ahhhh that's sucks for sure and that's a great comment for things for others to look out for.
Same with mine, I have already got a refund as the top micro suction didn't work. the bottom was fine but as they only have the one on the top it just peels off to easily when taking it out of the pocket. its a great idea but we need something more to hold to on the phone.

I would prefer it to attach to the iPhone with MagSafe instead of adhesives. Would be nice to quickly change it to a different case but it could move about like the wallet.
It does attach with magsafe, adhesive just help it stay on better.
I would prefer full adhesive instead of just a few points of contact. Now dust and grit can slip in between and scratch up your phone.

Yeah the camera top area did seem a little week and could've used a little piece of adhesive or something there.

I ordered it then cancelled it, $40 is way too much and I’m not convinced them sticky pads will remain sticky and I’m not a fan of that black camera ring. I like to switch out my cases and this just isn’t gonna fly
Im 100% passing I’m glad i cancelled my order as my Anker in car MagSafe mount is very strong so I can see it pulling the dam thing off. Will be sticking to my Arc Pulse 😂

Yeah Max Tech uses naked iPhone and he regrets it when he heard the crack of the back glass of his iPhone 15 pro max while miss putting it in his pocket off his car during his full day video with the vision pro. Many people thought that the small amount of titanium used on just the frame of the iPhone not even the internal housing makes it a tank and forgot about the amount of glass on the front and the back of the phone. It is not even a sapphire yet
I don't trust any the lingo when they are talking about protection. I'm always thinking something is going to break when the phone is dropped.
This is cute, but silly and useless. I need phone protection, not a leather phone accessory. What Nomad needs to do is stop worrying about being minimal and trying to be a Coach purse. Instead, they need to take a look at what Otterbox is doing and start with protection first, then add in leather elements for style *on top of the protection.*
