This soup is amazing, I'm so having it this weekend. D pot reminds me of my late granny's 'special grandchildren rice pot', I miss her so much now, she was Akwa ibom and I had a fair share of good meals from her.

Pls tell me which one is the best way?
The real and the best thickener for calabar white soup which is afia efere that am cooking is yam. Let no one deceive you and the best spices for it too is uyayak not all those fake spices.
Uyayak is best spices in white soup, anyway maybe that is their own way of cooking afia efere.in akwa ibom we don't use too much spices apart from uyayak and any other leaves of ur choice,
