Love this! Watching the fish underwater and the calming music was just what I needed. Currently recovering from pneumonia and this was just the medicine needed
How are you feeling Nicholas? I am also recovering from double pneumonia and clots. Hope your on the mend now mate. Its been over 18months for me and I'm still not right at all. Trying though! All the best. Mark.
It’s lovely to see lots of minnows , the little buggers drive you mad pecking at your bait but there so funny to watch under the water there always busy and they didn’t seem to scared of the pike or the perch ! Some amazing vid dude nice fishing
Great video, back in t' day, when dinos roamed the earth, I would have loved some of this tech to see what those fish were doing, those long hours sitting on the banks of various bodies of water. Fascinating stuff. The surprise at the end of the video reminded me of a double figure I landed from a tiny stream, I was _very_ light setup for roach and dace and as the sun went down, bam! I was into a beast that took just under an hour to coax to the bank. I was on a 12oz hook length, size 24 hook (line was much thicker back then so lighter was needed to avoid spooking the fish and make tying small spade ends viable), so you can imagine the fun and sense of achievement when I just about managed to fold the fish into the landing net. Best high stakes battle I ever had.
Great video again sir the under water footage is great good number of years ago caught an 11 pound salmon on 2 pound line took about 50 minutes to land it fishing gods were on my side that same as yourself with the barble
Another great video, funnily enough just before you stopped i was thinking what the weathers like, cause it's just gone cold. The pike at the beginning, funny, like they've got a pecking order, boss first.😀
Great video, as always. 👏👏 With regards to fish dropping the bait when they feel the feeder, have you tried tying a link of line between the feeder and the main line? That way the main line, and therefore the quiver tip, will move before the feeder moves 😉
Great vid Chris. Love the underwater footage as always and that big Perch was an absolute beauty. Why do you always forget to take some scales?😁 It's something when you consider a 5lb plus Barbel a "nuisance fish" too.☺
Some lovely fish fella, and the underwater filming adds a different dimension, by watching their behaviour and how they don't just fly in and grab the bait, shows alot more intelligence than you would usually associate with the Greedy Perch!
It is fascinating to see how fish behave around loose bait. On the bank you visualise a frenzy of competition or no fish there at all. The leisurely Perch slowly pecking at the loose bait at about 7 minutes was quite an eye-opener. Especially with Perchs' reputation as aggressive feeders.
I have sad it before ,,Totally surprise how big your perch get Maybe it’s all the maggots you feed them Lol Great video Here in middle of Canada 🇨🇦 waiting for the ice to thicken up so we can get out and play Thanks for sharing 😊
Another great video. I love how gentle and respectful you are with your catch.
Chris this is just what we want. Great video and fantastic pictures. Keep them coming please. 👍👍👍👍

Amazing stuff Chris! I love how the minnows scatter when a perch comes in. That first pike came in so ominous and slow. Love underwater shots!

Great underwater action. Love to see minnow in a river, good sign of health, despite it being the poo pipe.
great vid buddy love the under footage
Quality footage Chris ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great underwater camera work and like the way you adjust your terminal tackle to give the fish a little more time to get the bait in their mouth.
Cracking barbel to catch on light tackle, I love days that throw up a surprise. 👍
Another great vid Chris thanks - waders on I notice 😂
